Animal Experimentation is the use of animals to test human products such as drugs/medication, cosmetics items, shower/bath soaps and lotion, etc. We need to enforce the NO animal testing law because it’s inhumane, we have other technology, and anyway 9 out of 10 tests fail.

Today, at this very minute. there are millions of mice, rats, rabbits, cats, dogs, primates and other animals are locked up in tiny cages in laboratories, universities and schools across the world. They are in excruciating pain from all the torture they get put through. All they want is to be free from their daily torment. Millions of animals die each year in the U.S. Many of these animals have been through an awful lot. The reason behind these animal deaths is because of the people experimenting on them in order to find cures to things or find things that have not been found. Imagine you are a rat. You are pulled out of your families cage and onto a cold metal table held there firmly by a strong white glove. He pulls out a vial and its has this weird looking liquid inside. You hear the sound of plastic being ripped off of something he holds whatever it is above the vial. Slowly he extracts some of the liquid from the bottle. He pulls you closer to the strange thing that has the liquid in it. You try to escape but quickly he jabs a the needle into your back you squeal in pain. The guy with the white gloves sets you pack in your cage with this smirk on his face. A couple days go by and you are terribly sick. The next day you fall asleep, your family tries to care for you. But its no use you end up dying. That’s what happens to animals that are being tested and some of the tests fail, it’s not the only way for a cure, and it is costly. Animals should not be tested on!

Animals have always been a big part of the human race. They have been known to be play a huge part of families, and are also used for their companionship. Though most people do not know how much harm is being done to animals all over the world. Animals are being tested on and being harmed by so many different ways. Makeup, medicines, and even basic cleaning products are being tested on animals. Animals are also being slaughtered for their fur, for usage in clothing. Animal testing should be replaced with alternative methods once and for all to end the deaths of millions of animals annually.

Animal testing, and experimentation on monkeys has been going on for several decades, since the first primate lab was set up in 1940’s. It has always been a contentious issue, however the problem of animal experimentation really became prominent when animal and monkey testing reached a peak during the 1980’s, and evidence was released of animals be mistreated. It was revealed that experiments were being conducted where monkeys were given drugs that could potentially cause pain, but were not being anaesthetised, for fear it would ‘interfere’ with the results of the testing. This was around the time when the ‘Animal Rights Movement’ started to build momentum, and the rights of animals were discussed and debated on a regular basis. It was this that sparked the argument on whether animal testing was morally right, and if it was ethical to perform such experiments on monkeys, and animals in general. Since then, the line between what is morally right when it comes to animals and primates in particular has become further blurred.

Animals should be used for research and Experimentation because if the animals get sick or show any signs of acting abnormal then the scientists know it isn’t safe for humans to use. Animal research has played a big role in nearly every medical breakthrough over the last decade. Animals have the same organ system that perform the same task, which helps determine if what is being tested is safe for humans to use. Most of the medicines animals use the same medicine as humans like antibiotics, pain killers, and many more this helps to see if the medicine cures the animals without any harmful consequences then it would be safe and useful for humans to use.

Seeing dreamy, big, and shining eyes of dogs and cats in those commercials just make people want to walk outside of the room because they are living a terrible and unhealthy life same for the animals that are being tested for humans to be cured now see an animal with a needle in its stomach with those droopy, shining eyes looking right at you automatically you would say “aw why are they doing this to a innocent animal what did they ever do to you”. Animals have a very different atnomay than us humans because their body parts are very smaller or bigger because mice are very small so they would have a smaller atnomany compared to us, humans but cows have 4 stomachs while we only have 1 also there has been over 600,000 deaths from testing on animals and that is just one year so here is the big question should animals be tested on?.
