When I took Professor Greene’s Counseling 5 class, I was given the opportunity to self-reflect on who I am as a person as well as opening me up to more career goals that match my personality. I learned from my true color assessment, that my colors that I got were blue and orange. The blue personality is described as a compassionate and nurturing person as well as being known as being artistic and imaginative. They are also known as being calm and tranquility people, who are sensitive. The orange personality is described as being adventurous and having the desire for freedom as well as being risk-taking and spontaneous. They are also for being quick tempered and tend to often think out loud. I believe that these two colors fit perfectly with my career choice of pediatric nutritionist, because you have to be nurturing person when working with children and you to be willing to take a risk and be spontaneous when dealing with children. My Holland Interest Environmental score is Artistic (A), Investigative (I), and Realistic (R). Artistic people are known for liking to do creative activities such as art and creative writing, have good artistic abilities and value these abilities, and tend to generally avoid repetiting activities. They tend to see themselves as expressive, original, and independent. I believe that this relates to my career choice, because I would be able to use my originality to help children find interesting ways to learn about nutrition. Investigative
After reviewing the results of both the 16 Personalities Quiz and the True Colors Personality Test, I have come to the conclusion that the 16 Personalities Quiz more accurately represents me. The True Colors Personality Test states that my personality colour, gold, “Values rules” whilst The 16 Personalities Quiz claims “Dislikes being constrained by the rules” and in this situation, The 16 Personalities Quiz is correct. Although I follow the rules, I cannot come to terms with all of them. I am a Mediator, which are free spirited and artistic. If I am capable of going beyond the set limitations, then I should be allowed to. I can truly be my best self if I am not doubted. The True Colors Personality Test also says
The first assessment we took on Euruka.org was a personality assessment called the True Colors. In this test, personalities are identified as four colors: gold, green, blue and orange. My result was green. As a green I am an independent, collected and reserve individual who “values knowledge, insight and justice.” Just like a green person, I do value my education, I was always one to prioritize my homework and studying hours over social activities and leisure. I tend to be quiet and don’t open up to people right away, sometimes not even at all. It takes time for me to feel comfortable with someone before I can speak out and make jokes. Some of the occupations I was recommended, as a green, were a variety of fields from an Architecture to a
True Colors uses colors to identify four distinct perspectives and personalities. Understanding your true colors and the colors of your co-workers or classmates, spouse or friends, children or parents, clients and others will bring about new awareness in not only understanding yourself and others, but will make you more effective in your relationships with
After I took the color code personality test, my result came out with 35 percent of white color. This literally means that I am a harmonizer. I think the result is accurate because I like to solve problems in peace without confrontation or argumentation. In addition, I am typically quiet by nature, and I like to process things deeply with great explanation. Moreover, Whites are good listener which I think is accurate with my personality. The first that I always do when I having conversation with others is listen to
They are the “doers” and value practical things you can see, touch, and use like plants and animals. However, they tend to avoid social activities like teaching, healing, and informing others. They are hands on types of people. In addition, they are also precise, reserved and demanding. Furthermore, they do not talk a lot but they are good listeners. Not to mention, realists do not hesitate if something has to be done. Lastly, this personality type not only expects a lot of themselves, but also of others.
On 08/20/2017 at 1002 hours FTO Wheeler #4361 and I responded to St. Luke’s Hospital emergency room entrance, on 3555 Cesar Chavez St., regarding a women in a hospital gown trying to break the caller’s vehicle window with a brick. Officer Wheeler and I were in full police uniform driving a marked patrol unit when we responded.
The color that scored the highest in was Orange. I was not surprised by what color I ended up getting, but there were a couple of things that were in other categories. With of the things it said in it were true, but other weren't even close. The most closet would have to be the way I learn best. I have always wanted to learn with hands on project no reading or writing. I also always struggled to fit into an academic routines. I have always done best with projects were I had to make or build something, because I would go above and beyond the minimum. When I am doing work at school I am always bored and restless with the same thing like taking notes and writing stuff down over and over again. When making something in
According to the True Colors Personality Test, I am the color orange, which identifies with fun and entertainment. One weakness is that I am spontaneous. For example, when I go to my drama class I have an instinct to laugh at things that are not even funny, because that is just what I do without thinking about it. If I am acting on stage and someone says something funny I can never pull myself together. I always end up giggling and making myself have more fun.
When I read the description of a Red personality, I remember thinking that for the most part, Hartman was accurate throughout his assessment. But, I believe that I have more than one color that describes my personality because I also hold personality traits that describes the intimacy of a Blue. When I look back and think about how I acted and behaved as a child I feel as though I was a Blue and no where close to becoming a Red. Throughout my childhood I believe that I was a Blue due to losing everything that I loved and cared about which then made took control of my behavior, how I felt, and acted. Then pain and suffering that I was feeling nearly destroyed the type of person I was becoming. Just the thought of that time in my life replicated that I was Blue who was emotionally-charged, who still feels guilty, and worries everyday by questioning what is going to happen next in my life that could destroy me entirely with no way of
Colors and color combinations are also meaningful. If a preponderance of one color appears frequently in your readings, it is certainly worth
There's an entire area of research on how color influences emotion. A few go-to colors are blue and black.
Ever wondered what it would be like to have an accurate personality type? Hartman’s personality quiz can help you look for the answer. You can be red, blue, yellow, or white; but you can also be mixtures between two, three or all four of the colors. I became a mixture of blue and yellow which made green.
While this test may be faulty, and slightly unbelievable it promotes the right thing: knowing yourself. Whether you believe in the specifics of the color code or not, life is much easier when you have a basic understanding of who you are as a person. So, the color code is just a tool. It is not always going to work, and it is may not work
There are many different emotions associated with every color, by different people. Why do people associate these certain emotions with different colors? Associations with color are caused by objects, language, senses, and personality characteristics.(Hallock) A language connection could be connected by expressions in one’s language that are associated with color. Colored objects could be associated with people based on what other objects could be colored. For example, blood is red. Since blood is red, people could associate red with “death” or even “pain.” Roses are red also, so someone else who likes flowers could associate red with a nice smell or even beautiful. That’s where personality
The writing I did this semester for Engl 110c has meant alot to me because I was able to pick a topic that has such a huge impact in my life. I was able to do the topic about Navy Wives, which has a huge impact on me. I recently became a navy wife a year ago and my life has changed drastically. I was able to share everything I wanted to about the life of a military wife through my writings, as well as share to my classmates about my topic. I really enjoyed creating my ePortfolio because I could come out of my shell and be me. I made a ePortfolio website that would be for military wives to read. I believe this website would be perfect for any military wife reading it. I was able to give tips and information on what it’s like to be a military wife, how to prepare for deployments and how to stay strong being a military wife.
