When I took Professor Greene’s Counseling 5 class, I was given the opportunity to self-reflect on who I am as a person as well as opening me up to more career goals that match my personality. I learned from my true color assessment, that my colors that I got were blue and orange. The blue personality is described as a compassionate and nurturing person as well as being known as being artistic and imaginative. They are also known as being calm and tranquility people, who are sensitive. The orange personality is described as being adventurous and having the desire for freedom as well as being risk-taking and spontaneous. They are also for being quick tempered and tend to often think out loud. I believe that these two colors fit perfectly with my career choice of pediatric nutritionist, because you have to be nurturing person when working with children and you to be willing to take a risk and be spontaneous when dealing with children. My Holland Interest Environmental score is Artistic (A), Investigative (I), and Realistic (R). Artistic people are known for liking to do creative activities such as art and creative writing, have good artistic abilities and value these abilities, and tend to generally avoid repetiting activities. They tend to see themselves as expressive, original, and independent. I believe that this relates to my career choice, because I would be able to use my originality to help children find interesting ways to learn about nutrition. Investigative
