So one day our family decided to go to Disney World with her family. It was our family, our aunts family, my mom’s parents, and Emmy and Bear. We took 2 cars, 6 people in each. It took us a whole 11 hours to get there! When we got there we stayed in 2 apartments called New Orleans. The first morning we woke up and went to the bus stop. The bus picked us up and took us to Epcot. There was a big shiny ball that you could go inside. We all got in line, but because we had fast passes we could pass everyone. We got on this car thingy and it started flying around the room. Then there was questions we had to answer on the wall. It was so cool, my sister loved it. When we were done with that we all rode the Test Track. You got to make your own car
It was a water/boat ride, but still chain controlled. At the end you go down a very steep downhill and finish. There was no seatbelt, but there was a bar that went over your legs. I did not feel like it was very safe and only did it once. That was basically it for me because I couldn’t ride any other rides, except for the kiddie rides, which I was not going to ride. Then I went with my mother to go shopping with her, while my brothers were riding the bigger rides I couldn’t. we went to all the stores with here. Picking out little keychains, hats, bracelets, etc. my mom bought me a snow globe and a statue of a sting-ray (which I still have today) which was very cool to have. It always reminds me of the first time I ever went to SeaWorld.
The first day we got there we just hanged out at the hotel all day. It was 78 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny. It was 8AM in the morning when I saw the pool. Now at first I was very disappointed that it was shutdown because they needed to put chemicals in it. At 11 it finally opened up and I was WOWED. The Pool was amazing. It was sparkling Blue and the water was as clear as glass. That's why we stayed in it all day. The second day we went to Sea World. We hadn't been to Sea World yet until that day where we learned why it's one of the best Disney parks. We entered at the gate where we saw the ride of a lifetime The Manta. The Manta is a ride that makes you go backwards on almost the whole ride. It is the scariest ride I have ever seen. None of my family did that for just that reason. First we went to the Dolphin show which was really cool. It was so cool because the actors and actresses would jump into the water and the Dolphins would come out and do tricks on them like skiing on top of them, and making them wave to the crowd. Then we to another show which is called Shamu. Shamu is a show about Wales that do all these tricks like splash us. I forgot to tell you but Garrett, Chloe, and I were all sitting in the splash zone and we were watching the Wales do all these tricks when the Disney people told us to get ready and Garrett and I didn't have enough time to react and two seconds later all of a sudden we got tsunamified, so soaked that there wasn't a single dry spot on my shirt. After that Chloe started crying and I had to bring her up to mom and dad who were in the last row of the stadium. Chloe was not happy for that part of the trip at Sea World. After both those shows it started raining so we finished up are day at going in a virtual helicopter and seeing all the Penguins and the Arctic Animals which was pretty cool. As soon as we got in the pilot we cranked that baby up until the heat felt like Florida instead of Maine. Speaking of Maine
When we all got to six flags, we all gathered together making plans on what we were going to do first. We all decided to go to Hurricane Harbor Park first because of how hot it was. As we walked into the park I was like “Wow look at all the slides!”
First, we went to Disney World for the whole day and ride a lot of the roller coasters The next day, we went to Universal Studios and I was able to see all the different elements of their amusement park. Such as, the Harry Potter section, Jurassic Park section, and the Hollywood section. I rode most of the roller coasters that we had time for, because we were only there for a day. I was also able to go to Gatorland and SeaWorld during our expedition in Florida.
First we entered six flags where we were very excited that we were there. We also had to listen to a very long speech about the rules and the rides of six flags. Then we started riding the rides the first ride we rode was the flash the ride was very fast and my dad lost his hat but it fall to the back of the sit. Then we found out there was a water park so we went back to the park to get some clothes
I remember the first time I went to Disney World; excited and eager like a child on the first day of school. I already had my suitcase packed two weeks before we even left, and that two weeks felt more like two years. The night before we left, I couldn’t sleep. It was like I had nonstop adrenaline rushing through my body. All I could think about were the rides, princesses, and that beautiful beach I’ve seen thousands of pictures of. Finally, after hours and hours of stirring around, I fell asleep.
My mom has always had a love for Harry Potter. She read all the books and listened to the audio books in her car. She wanted to see Hogwarts for her self. So where else to go than Universal Studios, Orlando Florida? My parents bought tickets for the trip there, back, and the park. My family left Negaunee early that morning and made our way to the Chicago Airport. We arrived in Orlando around 1:00 am. We checked into our hotel and all fell asleep right away. In the morning, we packed up our little backpack with what we needed and walked across the street to the park. When we were on the sidewalk, it was insane how many little geckos there were. I also found a stray cat a few days into the trip. When we got to the entrance, the man checked our
It was a hot sunny, afternoon ,my family and I were heading to Six Flags 5 long hours away from where we live which is Atwater California, but it felt like a 30 hour trip. When we got to the hotel that we were going to stay at for 4 days while we were visiting Six Flags my parents asked me if I would start walking with my little brother to the entrance where my big brother, sister ,grandma ,and aunt were waiting in the first lobby. I reached out to text my brother that we were heading over to the hotel but my phone wasn’t there! I started to freak out and I actually pinched myself just to see if it was a dream but it wasn’t I asked my little brother if he had seen it but he said that he hadn’t. All I was thinking about was what my parents would say about me losing my phone.
“Be sure to get a blanket,” the tour guide had said. Though it was around 95 degrees outside and there was not a cloud in the sky, I had doubted her. This trip to Florida had been a total flop so far, and I was already disappointed we had climbed aboard the shoddy Wildlife Tour speedboat instead of spending our day in the aquarium like I had been promised. There was virtually no wildlife to be found, and now I was freezing cold from the ocean breeze and high speed winds being forced upon me from the speed the boat was going. Obviously, this was a children’s tour because the only people on the boat besides the “captain” (as he called himself), the tour guide, and my grandmother and more, were young families with children that were between the
My first trip to Disney World, now that, that was a memorable trip. That trip was one of the most magical and happiest memories of my life. It was back in 2008, I had just turned 6 years old a few months before we left to go there. It was summertime, and the weather was perfect. I remember being so bored on the way there because I am an only child so I didn’t have anyone to entertain me besides myself. My mom’s side of the family went on this trip with us, and at the time I was the only grandkid, and the only kid at all. So once we finally were almost there I remember passing the big ‘Welcome to Disney World” sign and being so excited I peed my pants--my mom was pretty mad, but my dad thought it was kinda funny so I didn’t get in too much trouble.
This is my story of my trip to Disney world. I stayed at Coronado springs and It had a pool. We just got there after Nine hours. Then, we unpacked and went to our room. We Rested and watched T.V. Then we went to the pool. After that We went to the room and went to sleep. The Next day, we got Up early and went to Animal kingdom. We went on many rides Then went to lunch. After that we went to the room and cooled off. Then, we went to go see my older cousin.I was excited to See him because I have not seen him in 5 or six years. We went to dinner to a seafood place. After that, we went to the pool. We came back to our room and took a shower then went to bed. The next day, we got up and went to a place in Disney world and ate breakfast. Then, after that I went to Magic kingdom.
As an 8-year-old child, the worlds scary place. Everywhere you look there’s something terrifying. From people the size of giants, roaming the streets, with no care what so ever with their surroundings or just realizing that in a few years would come the most difficult and emotionally unstable time of my life. Sure, those things may be slightly exaggerated, but what I do know is the most horrendous experience I had in the land of joy that ultimately ruined my love Disney for many years.
I went to Orlando, Florida. First we got lunch at the airport then we got ready for our plane to leave. Then we got on the plane after half an hour of sitting and waiting. Finally after a long plane ride we were in Florida. After we got our bag we went across the street to get our rental car.
Trying to find memories is like looking for treasure. You look at the surface and see something mediocre, but you dig deep and find something cool, pretty, and meaningful. It took a while to think of a fond memory, but once I thought of some, it was hard to choose a favorite. Growing up I have had many great experiences in the form of vacations. Between going to Disney World, owning a vacation home, hanging out with my grandparents in Arizona, traveling to Canada and more. They all make amazing memories that I will forever cherish. The vacation spot we go to the most, though, is Wisconsin Dells. A few times I have been allowed to invite friends to come with. When I am allowed to bring friends, it is always a ginormous amount of fun. We goof off in the hotel room, play in the arcades, and swim in the water parks.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I
