The day I was waiting for finally arrived. I could not believe that I was driving to Florida. I could only imagine all the actives and attractions awaiting me there. I knew from the beginning of the car ride that this was going to be a fun and unforgettable vacation. During my vacation to Florida, I was able to visit with my family and friends, visit different interesting places, and enjoy the Florida weather outside.
The first day, we were travelling with my friend and his family but, we were in separate cars. That night, we stopped in Alabama and stayed in a hotel and visited my uncle. The next day, we finished our car ride to Florida and checked into our hotel. That night went and visited my other Aunt and Uncle I also saw my cousins

First, we went to Disney World for the whole day and ride a lot of the roller coasters The next day, we went to Universal Studios and I was able to see all the different elements of their amusement park. Such as, the Harry Potter section, Jurassic Park section, and the Hollywood section. I rode most of the roller coasters that we had time for, because we were only there for a day. I was also able to go to Gatorland and SeaWorld during our expedition in Florida.
Florida's weather is pleasant and relaxing for the most part. Since the weather was nice we were able to go to Cocoa beach in Brevard County. My parents brought some things for us to do at the beach. They brought a frisbee, a volleyball, wakeboards, and surfboards. I tried to learn how to surf and wakeboard but, I wasn't good at it. So, i just went swimming around the beach a little and played beach volleyball and enjoyed the weather in Florida. The last day we didn't do much besides get everything packed up and ready for our trip back home.
Florida was a very fun vacation and I was able to visit with my family, visit some interesting places, and enjoy the great weather. I wished that we could have stayed longer but, I knew it was time to go. So, we got in the car and started our journey back to
It was a water/boat ride, but still chain controlled. At the end you go down a very steep downhill and finish. There was no seatbelt, but there was a bar that went over your legs. I did not feel like it was very safe and only did it once. That was basically it for me because I couldn’t ride any other rides, except for the kiddie rides, which I was not going to ride. Then I went with my mother to go shopping with her, while my brothers were riding the bigger rides I couldn’t. we went to all the stores with here. Picking out little keychains, hats, bracelets, etc. my mom bought me a snow globe and a statue of a sting-ray (which I still have today) which was very cool to have. It always reminds me of the first time I ever went to SeaWorld.
The first day we got there we just hanged out at the hotel all day. It was 78 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny. It was 8AM in the morning when I saw the pool. Now at first I was very disappointed that it was shutdown because they needed to put chemicals in it. At 11 it finally opened up and I was WOWED. The Pool was amazing. It was sparkling Blue and the water was as clear as glass. That's why we stayed in it all day. The second day we went to Sea World. We hadn't been to Sea World yet until that day where we learned why it's one of the best Disney parks. We entered at the gate where we saw the ride of a lifetime The Manta. The Manta is a ride that makes you go backwards on almost the whole ride. It is the scariest ride I have ever seen. None of my family did that for just that reason. First we went to the Dolphin show which was really cool. It was so cool because the actors and actresses would jump into the water and the Dolphins would come out and do tricks on them like skiing on top of them, and making them wave to the crowd. Then we to another show which is called Shamu. Shamu is a show about Wales that do all these tricks like splash us. I forgot to tell you but Garrett, Chloe, and I were all sitting in the splash zone and we were watching the Wales do all these tricks when the Disney people told us to get ready and Garrett and I didn't have enough time to react and two seconds later all of a sudden we got tsunamified, so soaked that there wasn't a single dry spot on my shirt. After that Chloe started crying and I had to bring her up to mom and dad who were in the last row of the stadium. Chloe was not happy for that part of the trip at Sea World. After both those shows it started raining so we finished up are day at going in a virtual helicopter and seeing all the Penguins and the Arctic Animals which was pretty cool. As soon as we got in the pilot we cranked that baby up until the heat felt like Florida instead of Maine. Speaking of Maine
It took almost two hours to get to Orlando from Tampa. As the van rolled along the hills, rocking and swaying back and forth, I was elated with thoughts of all the things we would do. I remember jumping around in the back seat with joy as we started to see signs for the park. When we arrived at the park, pure bliss and amazement showed on our faces. We took a ferry boat from the parking lot to the entrance of the park. Once inside the park, we headed for the rides. Some of my favorite rides were The Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain. My sibling and I were very thrilled and cheerful. Next, we visited Magic Kingdom to watch a parade of all the Disney characters. We were elated to find out we would get to take pictures with Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Donald the Duck. My parents purchased chicken tender meals. Also, we ate snacks such as elephant ears and cotton candy. Grandma had given us money to buy extra junk that my parents would not buy. As the day began to end, we started to get tired. Lastly we watched the fireworks and took last minute photos before heading to the car. I was very sad it was time to go home the next
The rest of the trip was very entertaining and I enjoyed the beach even more. The difference between the Pacific Coast and the Gulf Shore was completely different, but in a curious way. It expanded my horizons of the world we live in and what natural beauty it contains. It also taught me that having patience can give better results. Even though we had a long drive to get to our rental house, it was
When i went Destin, Florida. I went to Florida this summer after school was out . We went with my sisters best friend, and my best friend’s family. We drove from Arkansas all the way to Destin, Florida. The day we got there we went straight to the beach! It was the first time I had ever seen the ocean! The following day we decided to go down to the smoothie shack and get a smoothie then swim in the pool. The grown ups went to the beach while we were at the pool.
¨Were off.¨my dad said. Going to Florida is awesome even if its for baseball. The ride to Florida was horrible, especially with two brothers, my dad and my grandpa. The good part was there was a movie thing. On the way there, there was a lot of traffic trust me it was like driving a turtle but when you get there its
Thankfully it was not as cold as I was worried it might be upon arrival, but we agreed we’d still rather be in Florida. But after we got to snuggle grandbabies, we were glad to have made this visit.
We decided that our best choice to stay at was Panama City, since it had everything that my mom and dad desired. My family also decided that we would drive to Florida since the nearest airport was Tallahassee. The day that our family would go to Florida would be June 26, 2016. We would stay for a week, and return on July 1, 2016. That would give us a week of relaxation before my family and I
It was a beautiful sunny day and my family and I were driving on the expressway. We were in my Dad’s blue truck with the fifth wheel behind us. We had the windows down in the amazing 80 degree weather. We were around our exit, Myrtle Beach! I was so excited for the trip and couldn’t wait to put my foot in the blue, cold, salt water. After the like 15 hour drive we had just suffered through I was expecting a pretty great trip.
My family and I left for Panama city, Florida in June of 2011. The trip was so fun; we sang songs and laughed hysterically during the whole ride there. When we arrived we were all ready for the beach warm sand and it’s cool waves. We stayed at the beach until about nine and everyone prepared for dinner. Once everyone settled in we sat and ate dinner, as always the dinner was great with my family. Everyone talked about any and everything; we even cracked jokes on each other.
The warm, cozy and smell caught me off guard and I wanted to just sit there and listen to it. The first thing we did when we got to Florida is we all went to our rooms and rested. Then,in the morning we went to the beach. The water there was temperate and delightful. The people there were very balmy to us too. We also went to a lot of restaurants. They had delectable seafood and sweets such as cake, ice cream, and brownies and more. The best part of going to Florida is that we got to go to an amusement park and rode a lot of rides.
In conclusion, this Disney trip, I’ll never forget. I had so much fun, getting to know more about my friends and spending time with them, as well as performing, even through the nerves. One thing I could learn from this experience would be that enjoying the moment, and cherishing them, is so key in making good lasting
I am the happiest when me and my family go to the beach. I love going to the beach because it is so relaxing and you kind of put all of your worries and problems away. My favorite part about going to Florida is laying on the beach and listening to the waves crashing on the sand, it is just so relaxing. Last summer my dad, my grandma and I all went to Florida and just had a really great time. We layed on the beach, went out to eat at some really good restaurants and got ice cream almost every night.
On our first day in Florida, we went to the pool. We had a blast at the pool. We were there for about 14 hours. All of us kids played on a zip line that
From childhood to now, going to Florida has played an important part in my relationships, culture, and personality. I think that the trips to Florida started when my little brother was born. Having to take care of two toddlers and an infant and work full time was hard on my parents so, my aunt offered to take me and my sister home with her for a while. Being in Florida was slightly unnerving because my sister and I were alone. We sneaked into each other's beds, comforted one another, and told lame jokes to get rid of homesickness. Eventually, when my little brother was old enough and he joined in on the fun. The three of us had the best times in Florida. We ate foods like Haitian pate, diri ak djon djon, pikliz, fried plantains and other Haitian
