Fishing I t was my first day on the job as a coast guard. My experience that day is one that I would never forget. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was going on a mission to save a girl trapped on a boat next to a bridge. The ride was a long one and I could barely stand to look at the deep dark blue waves swirling under the helicopter I was seated in. Once we got to the location of the girl, I started to shake with fear. I had a deathly fear of deep water and the creatures that had inhabited them. I stared down the ladder with fear in my soul. The poor girl was crying , I couldn’t tell who was more afraid me or her. On my way down the ladder I could tell something was wrong. She was trying to tell me something but I
So here's how it all started I was on a boat going to go hunt for game. Until the captain pointed out ship trap island in the distance. I heard 3 gun shots and ran to the rail to see what happened I dropped my pipe and tried to catch it but instead i plunged into the water. I swam with all my might to get to shore because the the water was freezing cold so i swam towards the shots because it meant shelter in my head then i fell asleep.I woke up and went to find some food I saw the remains of a dead animal and a rifle cartridge and some foot prints.
When I came into the Corps I was and still am a scrawny kid; five feet seven and one hundred twenty pounds soaking wet. I came to the Corps to be challenged physically and mentally, however, I was not prepared for what I was getting myself into; I joined the Fighting Texas Aggie Fish Drill Team.
I also wrote about "Once More to the Lake", but I enjoy long descriptive sentences. When you read your chosen sentence, did it give you a feeling or, bring you back to a moment in your past? When I read that sentence, it brings me back to laying on the beach smelling the the salty air and listening to the
Lobstering is in my blood. It is what supports my family and most of my town. I have been doing it my whole life i’ve had a lobster license since i was 8 years old which is as young as you can get one. I love summer just for lobstering season plus I like the money outcome. I hate school starting the most because it tires me out because I play football everyday except sundays and some saturdays so i have to wake up early and haul on my days off from school.

Fishing is a fun way for me to spend some time with my family members and just relax feeling the refreshing breeze hit my face. I enjoy going with my older brother to the lake here in Newton or Out in other towns. One time me and my brother went to a lake outside of Newton in a different town and stayed there for most of the day. We hardly caught anything but it was fun being out there with only my older brother. And the fish we did catch were all to small to take home to cook and man I wish we did catch a big one.
I am known to be extremely clumsy. With that, it’s expected that I often end up in awkward situations. In the past I have called numerous teachers “Mom,” fallen down while walking up stairs, almost fallen off a cliff; and it can be assured there were many more instances where my embarrassing clumsiness had led me into awkward, sometimes life threatening, situations. One moment that stands out in particular takes place in every marine animal welfare activists’ “favorite” place, Sea World.
Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed fishing. Fishing relaxes my mind and allows me to get away from the stress of the real world. From the cool breeze around the lake to the fishes nibbling away at the bait, it’s all just very relaxing. There was one day where I caught more fish than I had ever caught before. The entire day had been going my way. My boss called me and gave me the day off and that alone is a good way to start your day. After getting the day off I was able to get a few extra hours of sleep. Being able to sleep in allowed me to get the some rest that I had not been able to get for a few weeks. After getting my well-deserved rest I decided to go to the pet store to get some fish bait. Fishing was not my original plan for that day but since I was able to get the day off and I didn’t have any other plans I was able to plan to do one of my favorite things.
You may have heard how boring fishing can be. Sitting there waiting for a catch that may never happen can be frustrating. However, for people who have more patience and are still interested in learning to fish you may want to follow some basic steps. After following these steps, you should be able to have a smooth and relaxed time fishing. These steps include how to set up your pole, choose your bait and how to cast your line. All you need is a fishing pole and a pre-supplied tackle box.
Adam was climbing over Mom and sitting in Dad’s lap before Dad could ask again. It turned out,(after much reeling), it was only a small perch. It was thrown back into the water, but only after Adam gave it “kisses”.
Reaching in the cold water and snatching a massive bass is an amazing feeling, but nothing beats the feeling of walking up on the trophy buck you have been tracking for the past hour. Although I love to both hunt and fish, I tend to show a little more favoritism towards hunting. Hunting and fishing usually are activities that typically go hand in hand. Personally, I have noticed that most of my friends who hunt, often fish as well. This is because where there is water, there is usually deer around that area. Hunting and fishing are different, but they are both are exciting and require patience.
Fishing is an activity I have enjoyed doing ever since I was a little kid. In fact, one of my first fishing voyages was with my grandpa when I was about eight years old. He was an avid fisherman who went fishing almost every day and knew everything there was to know about fishing. Grandpa got me hooked on fishing. After Grandpa died, my dad picked up where Grandpa left off. We had a pontoon, and Dad took my brothers and me fishing whenever we had the chance. To this day, I still love fishing just as much as I had on my first fishing trip with my grandpa. Many people enjoy hobbies that are relaxing and peaceful, and others prefer exhilarating activities that never have a dull moment. I enjoy fishing because it has some of both.
Seventy five degrees hot day where the sun is shining the sound of waves hitting the shore of the beach and the smell of fish this gets me in the mood for fishing on my favorite spot mullet lake
In this essay youll learn how to fish. People think they know how to fish until they start to fish and don't catch anything but sticks. When people catch sticks they tend to lose their temper. It was in December, during my Christmas vacation, when I decided to start looking for a summer job. There were many options but the job I decided to apply for was a position as a lifeguard at a waterpark. I filled out an application and was accepted almost immediately. The only thing left was the lifeguard training; little did I know that it was going to be an experience I would never forget.
