INTRODUCTION: The suspect forcefully grabbed the victim's wallet from her lap, in violation of PC 211-Robbery Strong Arm. LOCATION DESCRIPTION: The incident occurred in a two story apartment complex rear carport (east side) located on the east side of the street. INJURIES: None. LOSS: A black wallet which contained: • A Driver’s license. • $110.00 in US currency. EVIDENCE: None. Phillips reportedly allowed “Brandon” to spend the evening at the above residence. Phillips told me that Stone was also at the residence. On 02-04-16 at approximately 1030 hours, Phillips drove “Brandon” to the Department of Public Social Services office located at 980 N. Lake Avenue in Pasadena. “Brandon” wanted to pick up a cellular telephone through the Lifeline Telephone Program. “Brandon” returned with the cellular telephone and asked Phillips if she would drive him to his mother’s residence. On 3/13/16 SO EMT Perez was notified that an engine had come on campus. SO EMT Cunningham responded along with SO EMT Perez and caught up with the engine by lakeside commons. The driver of the engine stated that he was responding for a lift assist to 3144/3146 apt 220 but that he wasn’t sure which one he was going too. SO EMT Cunningham and SO EMT Perez decided to respond to FR-220 first being that they were the engine came from gate 2 and they were closest to that building. SO EMT Perez and SO EMT Cunningham knocked and announce their presence at FR-220’s door and were both verbally invited in. At 5:30 SA Lyn Brumaire received another call from Officer Tabiri that another resident named Marielle Fisher may know the whereabouts of Ms. Lee. Upon knocking on the door of suite 805, no one answered so officer Tabiri asked me to key into the room. Ms. Fisher was not present but her suite mate, Ms. Neali Rogers was. Ms. Rogers communicated that Ms. Fisher had gone home for the weekend.
This case involves Suspect Jose Guadalupe Arevalo verbally threatening to kill Victim Cecilia Aguilar Parra with a firearm in violation of PC 422-Criminal Threats. Suspect Arevalo is Victim Parra’s rear neighbor.
Mylania told Officer Cox that she was at the apartment complex at 1000 S 32nd St, waiting for her friend to arrive back from the store. While she was waiting, she made contact with Brandon Wagers, who resides in apartment #210. Wagers asked her if she would like to come into his apartment and wait on her friend to get back. Mylania said she agreed to come in and wait.
On Monday August 08, 2016 I, Detective K. Holland #636 began reviewing this case file. The three listed suspects, Ramon Alvarado, Jose Blancas, and Hector Gatica were believed to be involved with burglarizing vehicles prior to their arrest. Since their arrest, victims had come forwards to report their vehicle was burglarized. Property belonging to Malinda Sims, (a Samsung cell phone), was returned to her by Officer Acosta. Sims also reported that $80-$100 was stolen from her vehicle. Officer Weaver advised that there was still electronic equipment inside the Dodge Avenger that was located at Brownwood Towing. A search warrant was sought for the Avenger, and it was signed by Judge Sam Moss. The search of the vehicle was occurred on 08/08/16
Caller called back and informed that Phil has since left the residence and said he was going to cut his wrists. While en route to the address Stamets and I checked the area for Phil but could not locate him. Upon arriving at 335 I spoke with Lorrie and Brian who stated they were there to get some of their daughter's belongings, Brian and Lorrie wanted advice if it was a good idea to get some belongings right now.
Prior to leaving the scene I did check the vacant residence directly behind 1431 Holly Trail East per Nita Dobbs request. While checking the residence I did observe the back door leading to the deck to be open. I observed no signs of forced entry and it did not appear as if the residence had been burglarized. I
In summary, on 11/12/17 at 1737 hours Ofc. Alvarez #212 and I were dispatched to 2439 S 56th Ct. in regards to a Domestic Battery. Cicero Dispatch related that the caller would be waiting in a black Chevy Malibu parked at 24th Street and 57th Avenue.
I spoke with Marlon about additional items in the vehicle the victims said should be in there. I asked if the items would still be in the vehicle. Marlon said “Probably not, but I didn’t take them” he said there was seven other persons in the vehicle at some point. Marlon was asked what time “he” parked the car on Copperstone Circle. He said between 10pm and midnight.
When Stephanie reached the highway she drove right past the sign that was labeled “Sacramento” because it was covered by a bush. The next morning she was reported missing from work and the first call was made to inform Jo-Allyn Brown, Stephanie’s mom. Jo-Allyn called everyone possible; friends, family, relatives but everyone said they hadn’t seen Stephanie for days so she decided to notify the authorities. This case was first assigned to Deputy Stanley Acevedo. The first step to solving a homicide crime is to interrogate.
On Thursday, August 31, 2017 at approximately 2232 hours, I was dispatched to a residence across the street from 2220 University St in reference of a suspicious person inside of a black truck. Upon arrival I spoke to the complainant Ms. Delisa Smothers. Ms. Smothers stated that at approximately 2230 hours, an unknown black male went inside her neighbor's truck located across the street at 2221 University street.
On Thursday, July 14, 2016, at approximately 0847 hours, Patrolman David Stamets had a vehicle stopped on the 100 block of East Oak Street. Immediately after Stamets stopped the vehicle Your Affiant positioned his vehicle on the 100 block of South White Street near the Oak Street intersection facing southbound. When exiting my vehicle your Affiant observed a gold Pontiac sedan accelerating northbound on South White Street at an unsafe speed towards Stamets and your Affiant's location.
At approximately 5:28 p.m., I arrived on scene and was briefed by Officer Nicholson. I was provided with the name of the victim Amanda Holmes (white, female DOB 10/17/1982). Officer Nicholson advised me that the victim was last seen by her roommate at approximately 12:00 a.m. I then spoke to the roommate to obtain consent to process the residence.
Washington believed that the juvenile males live down the hill of her apartment complex in the townhomes. Washington said she could identify the juvenile males if she sees them again.
City units were dispatched to a call of a disturbance at 938 Water St., apartment 206. The RP said they did not see the disturbance/argument, but could hear yelling and banging around. The RP said that they went in the hall and could see the front door to the apartment smashed in. The RP also said that the male half is named Gary and owns the Tattoo parlor down stairs around the block. The RP advised that the female half is named Tiara.
