On Saturday, April 15, 2017 at approximately 11:29PM I, Deputy George along with Sergeant Kincaid checked en route to 2270 Farm to Market Road 2225, Quitman, Texas 75783 to assist Deputy Oviedo in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival we made contact with Justin Pearce, walking with his girlfriend and his children at the end of the driveway near the Farm to Market Road. While speaking to Justin Pearce I detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and or person. Justin Pearce stated he and his sister Erica Hammer got into a physical argument and had assaulted one another. Erica Hammer confirmed that she and her brother had been drinking in the back yard and had begun physically fighting, due to the Justin’s language around her children. Erica Hammer stated the combat was mutual and that she and her brother physically fight one another frequently. Erica Hammer appeared to be highly intoxicated and the odor of an alcoholic beverage was present on her person as well. While on scene I observed blood droplets in the kitchen, dining room, Living room, laundry room and a long hallway leading into the residence from the backyard. Once outside of the residence I observed further evidence of a physical confrontation, including additional blood spatter and droplets scattered throughout the yard near a burning fire where it appeared, due to multiple empty alcoholic beverage containers the subjects had been drinking. According to all parties spoken to on scene two small children as well as a middle aged child were present and witnessed the assault take place. Mr. Barnett, stated his son Edward was having an adverse reaction to medication prescribed to him for an infection. According to Mr. Barnett, Edward had been behaving erratically and even attempted to leave the residence naked. Mr. Barnett stated he and his wife were attempting to take Edward to the hospital to have evaluated by a medical physicians to possibly change his medication. Edward, however, would not cooperate and due to his past history of becoming violent Mr. and Mrs. Barnett felt is was safer to call police.

This is a report of a domestic battery between Dustin Lyons and his brother Robert Lyons at 6720 35th St N. Robert Lyon went to the residence to gather things inside of the residence, during this a physical altercation occurred between the brothers. Dustin advised his brother left the scene already and he does not wish to pursue charges. No contact was made with the suspect at this time, Dustin did not want photographs taking of the marks on his body; he advised he did not need medical attention either. An average everyday person could easily tell which direction the blood stain came from, and what height it had fallen from, nevertheless there is still more to the story.
On 9/9/16 at approximately 1855 Medical was requested during an ICS to report to Higbee to assess two offenders who were involved in altercation and a chemical irritant was used. Offender Molina OID 241301 was noted to have a small redness on the right foot, otherwise no other injuries were noted. Offender Lowry OID 225728 denied injuries and declined medical evaluation.
Identification and description of objects and areas in the scene which could contain potential fingerprint or trace evidence: In the middle of the living room, there were wine glasses. The one glass had blood on it and it could have a fingerprint on it. The pair of glasses and cell phone could have fingerprints on it too. The opened bottle of Arrowhead water was on the white couch nearest the west side of the wall. This bottle could contain possible DNA or fingerprints. The hat on the wooden table could contain strands of hair. Between the table and brown couch, the multi – color blanket could contain possible DNA. On the black handled silver kitchen knife could have fingerprints and DNA. Upon entry to the living room on the ground to my left, I was able to distinguish blood spots which could be shoe markings. There were some blood spots on the floor.
At 1600 paramedics were dispatched to a home address of a 25 year male named Gary acting aggressively towards family members and throwing objects around the house. On arrival SAPOL were at the scene. Upon entering the house family members including father, mother and a younger brother were present in the living room. The have stated that earlier Gary had ingested a few Effexor tablets (number of tablets unknown & not prescribed) and had been drinking. Parents stated that Gary had been diagnosed with depression and lately he has been having behavioural changes and issues. Upon entering the kitchen which measured at 9 feet 1.5 inches in length and 11 feet 9 inches in width there was various items of evidence. One of the items was a disposable coffee cup measuring 6 ¾ inches in height. It was on top of the kitchen table. The lid was black and the cup was white. It had a cardboard sleeve on it with writing which read “Beat UC Davis Sponsored by ASI Causeway Classic Blood Drive October 20 & 21 10am – 5 pm University Union Ballroom.” There was blood fingerprints on it, approximately seven different fingerprints. The blood prints were only on the sleeve of the cup. Another item of evidence was a kitchen knife which was located on top of the kitchen counter.
