Good morning fellow students I am the head of construction and I will be talking about the Wynnem road upgrades. This is going to be effecting a vast amount of people all across Brisbane. This means the government will be buying and demolishing homes as soon as they come on sale. I strongly believe that the widening of Wynnem road should go ahead. The barricades have been put on and the plans have been reveled after first thought of upgrading in 2011. It is due to complete in 2020. The upgrade will provide interim measures to improve traffic efficiency and safety along Wynnum Road between Canning Bridge and Riding Road in Norman park.

Welcome to our first stop on this tour, NAU, also known as Northern Arizona University! Most of you guys go to school here, but for those of you who come from somewhere else, here's a brief geologic description of this area, the amazing city of Flagstaff. Flagstaff has many geologic wonders and is found on the southern part of the Colorado Plateau. A small portion of Flagstaff's northeastern rocks are sedimentary, like limestone, dolostone, quartzite, and shale, which were all deposited in the Paleozoic Era. The north region of Flagstaff is mostly volcanic rocks, like basalt. However, the west region of Flagstaff is mostly made up of limestone and again, basalt. Hello, my name is Susan Stewart. I am a member of the Wheatland High School Grad Night Committee. The committee is comprised of Volunteers who plan and facilitate the Safe and Sober Grad Night event for Wheatland High School graduates. Committee members are meeting with local community businesses and leaders like yourself, to ask if they would be interested in supporting an event aimed at keeping our local teens safe on such a celebratory night.

A year later, in 1960, nine-year-old Ruby Bridges became the first black child to attend the William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Similar to the experience of the Little Rock Nine, The National Guard had to escort Bridges into the school. White parents yanked their children out of William Frantz Elementary, and only one teacher agreed to teach Bridges.

We’ve all seen, and pitied, that poor mom walking down the aisle holding the hand of an uncooperative toddler while using her innate mom superpower to wrangle the squirming infant in her arms.

As you know, Columbia City is on the move. We are becoming bigger and better than ever. Within the last year we have added new eating establishments for family and friends to enjoy. There have been several upgrades to our historic downtown, including a beautiful new park in the heart of the city and cosmetic changes to several of our beautiful buildings. Our main roads are much more pleasant to drive down as Main Street and 109 have had recent upgrades. In addition, our fantastic town has many more projects in the works including a waterpark to attract area residence for some exciting recreation. Last but not least, the newest and most profound addition that will benefit the citizens of Columbia City for generations to come, a brand new, state of the art high school.

Good Morning, Class! “Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” This is a quote from St Francis and I think this depicts everything about Mt Alvernia College since this quote is part of our peace and college prayer. Mt Alvernia nurtures the beliefs and values of St Francis and St Clare because they are great role models and because they provide a stepping-stone for a genuine catholic education, for 21st centurial women.

Specific Purpose: The purpose of this speech is to provide a persuasive speech on the issue of water pollution and inaccessibility to clean water in third world countries and offer some plausible solutions. The three solutions are filtration systems, chlorination, and collection grids.

I don't exactly know how to address this issue in the country, but I do know that the Dakota Access PipeLine is so-called “peaceful resistance” to the protesters. Even though, living in North Dakota, really I know it's not peaceful at all. This pipeline has been worked on since December of 2014 and now protesters are addressing the problem. They call it peaceful resistance. They say that they aren't damaging anything. But it's all lies. They say that they are peacefully opposing to this 3.54 billion-dollar pipeline that is going to make the u.s. a lot less in debt, but they aren't. You hear on the news how they're burning the equipment and handcuffing themselves to the equipment and killing livestock, hurting officers and soldiers down there

Today, I am going to speak about the affordable housing in Pittsburgh .First let me tell about why the affordable housing is preferred. People who live in affordable housing today want safe, decent housing for the same reasons that we all do. The reasons are mainly to provide a nurturing environment to raise their children. Another reason is to remain in the community where they were raised or to become part of a community in which they want to settle. Finally, to live in an attractive, safe environment that they can afford. People who need affordable housing are ones that are employed as secretaries, school teachers, local government employees, restaurant workers and sales clerks. Thrift shopping is a way of reusing someone else’s unwanted goods. As I spoke about in an earlier speech about thrifting, I included many locations and ways to thrift, also the benefits to the shopper and the donator. One place in particular was shopping at the local boys and girls club. I personally shop there, keeping my eyes open for a good deal. For example, the pair of jeans that I am wearing today was purchased from this store just a few months ago. I paid only $8.00 for this pair of Lucky Jeans and according to buckle.com, a retailer for lucky jeans the retail price is $99.00 that is a savings to me of $91.00.I am not the type to worry about name brands, but quality usually does cost more. If I can get a quality pair of jeans at a fraction on the price, I am glad to shop at the thrift store.
