My First Time on a Plane - Personal Narrative
When I was seven years old I went on my very first holiday abroad, to America. I can remember waking up at Five o'clock in the morning to catch an early flight from Heathrow airport. I was so excited I forgot about the daunting effort of getting up so early. My Mum, Dad, Brother, grandparents and I set off on the long journey to the airport, then Orlando Florida. I remember the white taxi van used to transport us to the airport with its incredibly tiny seats, which made getting any sleep impossible. Sitting next to my brother, who was in a very irritable and annoying mood, made this slightly harder.
There had been a major accident on the

It felt a great achievement to actually step off the plane on to American soil. We then had to follow some kind of rep. There was a huge sign stating 'United States Of America Customs' with a huge man sitting behind a bit of glass and not really looking at your passport just kind of waiting for his shift to finish.
It was now time for the most boring part of going on holiday, the luggage belt. We stood there for fifteen minutes and eventually I was relieved to see a bag emerge through the rubber flap, but then having to wait another ten minutes to see the next one. I can remember how intrigued I was about what was on the other side of the curtain. I poked my head through only to be disappointed by a big man on a walky-talky. We then hired a huge white six-seated car that could actually fit eight people with comfort. The first memory outside of the airport was driving up a ramp and then having to stop at traffic lights and then watching these huge cars pass in front of us. We followed instructions to our bungalow apartment but having to stop and ask for directions. My dad was useless at following instructions although he was not helped by my granddad reading out the instructions. But we did get there in the end. We all ran into the house (except my Grandparents who walked in) to check out where we would
My personal favorite vacation was when I was six. I flew with my family to a friend’s beachfront estate in Florida. Countless hours were spent hours fishing and swimming on the beach every day, even catching a Blacktip shark. The life changing trip made me exceptionally closer to my friend and his family. I traveled to Italy when I was twelve, it was the first time I had left the United States. The trip was an incredible experience for me, introducing me to an entirely new world of culture. Leaving the United States was a substantial goal for me at that age, as I had never been to a place where people didn’t speak English. The trip was an eye opener for how different the world can be. My first flight alone was when I was in February 2015, when I flew to Colorado to ski with my aunt and uncle. Initially, I was nervous as I left my father at security and made my way to the gate. I soon realized how simple it was to travel and thought of it as an adventure. I’m sure my experience wouldn’t have been the same if the people sitting next to me weren’t so friendly. Even though I have had some transforming experiences in my life, I always look to see what enjoyment I can have next and what I can to create

I`ve been on planes, cars, and many things in my life but I have never been on a cruise, and on this Alaskan Cruise I was able to try new things. In our ship they had swimming pools, ping pong tables, casinos, and a extraordinary ice cream bar. One of my favorite parts of this trip was holding two baby sled dogs that were two weeks old. I also liked kayaking, plus I shared a kayak with my sister, Mia, and I controlled the kayak from the back. After that my family and I went on a bus ride to see caribou, bears, and glaciers. I also went on a hike and float with the Kendal`s (who are my cousins), because there daughter Annie was sleepy. I saw cool trees and fascinating wildlife. I even was allowed to eat berries that tasted like watermelon, but
Twenty-One Pilots are the first act to top pop songs and alternative songs. Back in February 21 of 2017 was one of the best days of my life. That date was when I went to my favorite band’s concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I will never forget that date, it took place at the BOK Center were many artists go to perform. My mom and I went, my dad also but he didn’t go to the concert. I got two tickets because I thought one of my friends could go with me but they could not afford it. All the money we spent that week was worth it I do not regret anything.
I was nine years old when I moved to California from Japan, all the way across the world. Moving to California was quite possibly the weirdest experience that has happened to me as a child. Trying to move from a place that I pretty much spent my life in than literally going across the world without knowing anything about it was very foreign to me, however my parents used to live in california for about one or two decades.
We got on the plane knowing we would be there for a while. My sister and I were looking out the window in amazement. The sky was so blue it felt like i was looking at a painting. It was so beautiful we had never seen something like this. We stopped at many places. Italy was the highlight for us. Our first view of america was washington DC. I saw my mom's family for the first time in a long time. After a few hours We got back on the
My first trip to Disney World, now that, that was a memorable trip. That trip was one of the most magical and happiest memories of my life. It was back in 2008, I had just turned 6 years old a few months before we left to go there. It was summertime, and the weather was perfect. I remember being so bored on the way there because I am an only child so I didn’t have anyone to entertain me besides myself. My mom’s side of the family went on this trip with us, and at the time I was the only grandkid, and the only kid at all. So once we finally were almost there I remember passing the big ‘Welcome to Disney World” sign and being so excited I peed my pants--my mom was pretty mad, but my dad thought it was kinda funny so I didn’t get in too much trouble.
The day has come, finally my very first vacation. I got up with excitement and I remember looking out my window and seeing how the sunrise was spreading across the sky. I remember my mom calling my siblings
The plane took off and were in the air leaving the place I had only ever known. I remember when my parents told me and my two brothers that we would be moving to the United states. At the time I didn’t know where we would end up or how we were even getting there. All I knew was I would be in a totally different landscape with a lot of ethnically different people whom I have never met or seen before.
Every year I came to American I choose Delta Airline. Because of the excellent meal specials, like the palatable noodle with tomato chicken, or veggies luscious salmon with pasta. After the heavenly staple food, they also have the mouthwatering desserts such as Brownie cookies. Last but not least, they provide the Starbucks coffee and multiple wines.
I was always scared of roller coasters, something about them made me feel weird inside. I would go to Great America with my friends and wait outside the rides that were scary for me. I never really thought about getting on any rides that dropped at the speed of lightning and loops that make your stomach flip upside down twenty times. I would just sit down and watch the rides as they dropped. That was until one day, my friend told me “Close your eyes I’m taking you to somewhere that’s fun.” I didn’t know what she meant by that but I did what she told me to do. She also covered one of my ears I didn’t know why. “Open your eyes Steven.” I did and at that moment my mouth dropped. I tried running from the line but it was too late. My friend had made me get in line for the scariest coaster in the park. It was named “Flight Deck” .The seats were empty and the small gates opened. She pushed me into the seat and locked me in as fast as she could. I heard the snap which meant the seat was
I went to Burger King with three friends. We walked a long way then I
My favorite vacation, so far, is one I went on in September 2015 with my friends Alissa and Jaidah. We all share fandom interests. On the weekend of September 19, my brother went away to spend his birthday with my dad. My mom shook me awake and informed me I could bring two friends along to a room in the Dells that we would be occupying. Almost immediately I thought of the duo. I ran downstairs and texted both of them while packing a bag. They texted back not too long after, and I told them my mom and I would pick them up anywhere from 10-11 that Saturday morning. We picked up Alissa and she tried to direct us to Jaidah’s house, but she wasn’t thorough with her
Like it was yesterday I remember my first vacation on a cruise. My Dad and I went on a three- day long cruise to The Bahamas. I had never been on a cruise, so it was a new experience for me. We needed to be in Tampa for our departure, so we drove the two hours from Orlando, Florida to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My Dad and I used this time to talk, make plans for the trip and think about our upcoming adventures on the cruise.
November 2 2010, it was a night with mixed feeling for me; I was excited to try new life, afraid to face it alone, and sad to leave my family. I was 16 years old and it is my first time to travel alone outside my country, and
