enjoyed the plot of the book. I also chose the book because it was the only book that seemed most interesting.

I liked the book because i thought their was a lot of detail added into the story also i think that it was kind of neet that their was good characters

The book is a good book because it makes you ask questions while you're reading it but what's happening and to get a better understanding on what's happening in the story. Like in my book the characters wonder if their dad is going to come home from the war and if he's alive or dead. This makes you question if he is really dead or alive

I really enjoyed the book because from the beginning it started giving background information about the characters, which really helped me see how they became the person we see in the book. Also the book does a wonderful job at painting pictures in your head. One part described the city as “… a ceaseless passage of carriages, trains, and grip cars all with iron clad wheels that struck the pavement like rolling hammers.” With that description I could see the cars and hear the wheels, plus it just helps me understand the book a little better.

I chose this book because it was recommended from people. I read the book of the book, and it seemed interesting and dramatic. I like dramatic books because it makes events more interesting and it would motivate me to keep reading the book.

Personally, I did like the book. I’m not normally a reader but, this book was very intriguing and had a lot of interesting turns to it, it kept me wanting to know the end. I, at first, didn’t want to read the book, and was going to pick the smallest book I could find, but after reading about the story behind this author and the book itself I went out and picked it up an haven’t stopped reading it since. It starts kind of slow

As the overall book, I actually kind of liked it because it was kind of hard to understand because they couldn’t use “I” and I like challenges. They had to use “We” instead of using “I” to explain they self or the story. The book was okay as a whole but still kind of hard to understand I got kind of irritated after a while, while I was reading the book because of the way it was written.

I was not really into reading at the time, but I remember that my teacher made us read for at least fifteen minutes at the beginning of every class. If we did not have a book there were many books from her library to choose from. I believe this was one of the first books that I read in her class, and think I chose this book in particular because it stood out. I mean the title itself already piqued my interest. I honestly did not think that I was going to enjoy it as much as I did, It was such a bizarre read with all the strange events and abnormal characters. And in a weird way, the strangeness of the story was what I really liked. I do not think I would have liked it as much if it was not for that. It was one of the first chapter books that I did not have to force myself to finish. This was also one of the first books I read that really got me into loving to read. I just loved getting lost in another world and I wanted to keep reading books that did that for me.

    There were some reasons that caused me to choose this novel. Its plot was very unique compared to other books I’ve read which are mostly adventure and many others. Its setting is quite modern since it took place in the early 1990s, making it more relatable to the readers.

For the most part, the novel was very enjoyable. One aspect of it that I loved was that the storyline was extremely intense, which always compelled me to find out what would happen next. For example,

I like this books style because it was completely different than any other type of book I’ve before. The book didn’t really have a plot but every chapter was informative in their own way. Even though each chapter was very different each one contributed to the main idea. This book has wonderfully solid information that makes it very hard to argue or deny the main idea.

There are many reasons to like a book or story. Everyone is interested in a variety of genres and series that tend to their personal interests in things. Some books are super suspenseful and leave you incapable of putting the book down because you have to know what happens next; others though are just on subjects that have educational knowledge on something you want to know more about. There are so many different ways to write like, romantic fiction, realistic fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, etc. From all of those choices, each reader finds something different that they have a passion for. Throughout the stories we have read over the summer, I have found a love for the story called The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is one of the stories I have come to like because it is one of the books where you have to piece it together yourself, it is your typical love story, and it is very suspenseful.

“We care for orphans not because we’re rescuers, but because we are rescued.” (David Platt) In my novel “Once” by Morris Gleitzman, some characters Felix, Barney, Zelda, and the others are being pushed onto a train. The Nazis are throwing all the jews onto the train, and they are heading to Death Camp. But Felix has a plan.

Morris Gleitzman "Then" is about two children called Zelda and Felix. Felix is a ten year old Jewish boy who was on a train to a Nazi death camp with Felix was a six year old girl called Zelda who's mum and dad were Nazis who died .Conflict smears the border between right and wrong. Bad people and good people were not far apart in World War Two because of the different definitions set by different sides of the war. Nazi Germany believed a good person was someone in the aryan race (blond hair, blue eyes and tall). Nazis also thought people who weren't talking out about the Nazi party were also good people. This definition was completely different to the rest of the words view. There was extreme trauma which is shown in "Then" "Nazi soldiers

Something that I really liked was when luke felt all alone and one day he was just sitting in his room and seen someone and they became the best of friends. Another part of the booked I thought was nice was the relationship between Jen and Luke, they didn't know about it at first, but then their friendship grew stronger and stronger. Something else I liked was how they had to hide away from everyone because of the population police. How he had to survive without any light, sneaking outside and being stuck inside without having a real life. It was very interesting. Although, there was something I didn't like. I didn’t really like how sometimes in the book there was something I thought was interesting and it didn’t really last long enough or didn’t give much detail. For example, when Luke found out that Jen could do things he couldn’t . The author didn’t really explain it very much. But, other than those types of things, I thought that it was a really good book and I would recommend it to lower level readers and or in the middle type of readers.
