Tupac Shakur’s life on paper The life of Tupac Shakur was eventful and not normal per say, because he had so many events happen in such a short life he lived. In the beginning he had a hard home life, with a single mother being the only one to raise him. He eventually was discovered as a rapper and then his life started becoming less of a money struggle and more of a power struggle.

The clip I have chosen is a news broadcast, talking about the “performance” of Tupac at Coachella in 2012. His performance was a hologram of him with Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre. The reason I picked this clip is the fact that Tupac was killed in 1996, yet he is still a presence and talked about in the music industry. This particular clip goes even further in explaining why he is admired and looked up after all this time. Tupac was only 25 when he was tragically killed, but had made a name for himself in his short life. Through music, acting and his overall public persona, Tupac laid out what would be seen as an everlasting career. Celebrities and marketing go hand in hand, and Tupac is no exception. Though social media was not around when Tupac was killed, the news station, newspapers, and radio were the marketing tools used to spread the word of his death.
Shakur’s appearance in “Juice” as “Bishop”, the troubled high school teen who turns into a cold-heartless killer. Juice is the first great dramatic act by a rapper in a movie. Despair and fear can make humans act like animals, causing them to completely ignore the consequences of their actions. Rapper Tupac once mentioned in an interview that resembles the actions of the citizens of France during the French revolution. He stated that if a group of hungry people waited outside of a hotel knowing that inside there was enough food to go around amongst everyone, the people would first chant peacefully “we are hungry please let us in” After a week the tone would change as well as the song now being “we hungry, we need some food!”. After time has passed and the people are still left outside hungry the people will now say “I’m picking the lock coming through the door blasting.” Humans often ask for change and help nicely
Tupac Shakur is often regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time. He was born on June 16, 1972 in East Harlem, New York City, New York to Afeni Shakur. “And even when I was close to defeat, I rose to my feet, my life is like a soundtrack, I wrote to the beat.” Meaning when I was about to fail, I kept fighting and made what was going to happen. And because of that now today Dr.Dre has won many awards and had movie made about his life. Why? Because Dr.Dre is a great rapper.
Have you ever heard the saying, “Legends never die?” Well that saying is very true for pop legend, Michael Jackson. Michael’s legacy still very much burns through today in the music scene. Michael Jackson's tour bus rolled up the gates at the service entrance at Madison Square Garden; it seemed as if thousands of fans were waiting in the streets and sidewalks just to get a moments glance at him, but I was one of the lucky one's who had a ticket to the show. As the gates began to open, Michael Jackson got on top of an SUV and waved to the crowd for less than five seconds, and the gates closed and he had vanished. People were literally crying in the street next to me just to because they felt that they were in the presence of a living legend.
He had been exposed to violence from an early age. His personal life was plagued by violence. He had been involved in criminal offences and imprisoned. He was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in September 1996, when he was just 25 years of age. Also, it was very extravagant how Tupac never fell apart and just gave up, he kept going and let nothing stop him.

He has made a tremendous mark in the music and fashion industry. As we all know Mr. West is known for having his moments. It is safe to say that he has the best and top “omg” Moments, such as interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMA’s. Kanye in the begging when he first came on the hip hop scene was this calm, joyful, his music in my eyes was the most different music out at the time, just because he wasn’t rapping about what everyone else was. Kanye was one of those joyful guys, everybody wanted him on his record or produce it. Then a tragic event occurred where his mom died. After then you see
Michael Jackson, who was known as King of the pop, is my favorite singer and my role model.
