Early in Marshall´s life he and his mother who only was 15 when she got Marshall bounced back and forth between Kansas City and Detroit. They lived in public house systems so they moved a lot and Marshall was forced to constantly change schools and start over from scratch in his social life. They lived in the poor part of the city in “black neighborhoods” and they didn't take it so kindly to new (or white) people. He was always an outsider, struggling to find friends and any safe place he could be in. He was also a target

Marshall says that they survived just on welfare checks and money from lawsuits that she dreamed up and sometimes got lucky and got money for things she claims that company’s or someone have done/said. There´s evidence to support Marshall´s claims of his mother´s history, there are some papers of cases where she has tried to sue a plethora of people and organizations over minor incidents. A few years later in 2001 she tried to sue her son for defamation of character. She claims that her lawyer had it as an option and that he did it without her permission, and that she did not intend to sue her son. Marshall also has a younger brother, Nathan Mathers that´s today a small rapper, going by the name Nate Kane. Marshall has claimed that he practically raised Nathan himself and that his mother would abuse his little brother and constantly pretending he was ill. This has been confirmed by the fact that Deborah was diagnosed with Münchausen syndrome and had Nathan taken from her by social services. He made a song about this and how his mother threated them as kids, one of them is called “Cleaning Out My Closet” and came out 2002 that became a big hit. Marshall have done many big hits thru his years as a rapper, among he was rewarded the Oscar for his movie “8
My dog died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don’t know. I never notice when he stopped going outside to play. As I was outside bury him I ran into James Wilson Marshall, a carpenter from New Jersey, who has invited me to his ranch. The ranch was near Coloma, California. Anyhow, James came to me to tell me about his new project he was working. He was planning to build a water-powered sawmill. He was contracted by John Sutter, a German-born Swiss citizen and founder of a colony of Nueva Helvetia (New Switzerland). I never cared want James built as long as I could help since he did let me stay at his colony, its only right if I did give a helping hand.

To begin with, Thurgood Marshall’s dedication was important in ending Jim Crow. He had a major role in the success of the NAACP. He stood right by Charles Houston’s side going through thick and thin. Marshall was sent all over the United States to fight court cases involving injustice for blacks. He himself was denied the right to attend at a law school because of his race. He led to the end of Jim Crow by fighting segregation cases for more than twenty years. Many of his cases involved integrating black and white schools or getting admission for denied black students. In his time, he won 29 out of the 32 cases he argued in front of the Supreme Court. All the rights that Thurgood Marshall had won for black people ended the long era of Jim Crow.
Many people have their own criticisms of Cotton Mather. As Kennedy tells us in the beginning of his book, The First American Evangelical: A short life of Cotton Mather, all we need to do is search for “Cotton Mather” on the internet to find a wide range of opinions. We easily run into articles or other writings of the hatred out there for this man, who is very commonly depicted as a villain. Even in one of Marvel’s comics there is an evil villain by the name of Cotton Mather whose purpose is to hunt witches. However, based on Kennedy’s reading we find that Mather was rather one of America’s most famous, influential, and respected pastors and scholars. By Mather’s promotion of inoculation, ideology of witch trials, and devotion to the lord, he was one of the greatest and most important figures of his time.
