Foster care is a temporary arrangement where kids live with relatives, foster parents, or in designated facilities for a short or long period. In the book, “Pictures of Hollis Woods” by Patricia Reilly Giff, both the Regans and Josie meet different needs for Hollis. In the book, “Pictures of Hollis Woods”, Josie gives Hollis love. Love means to care deeply or to show affection to somebody. Hollis Woods and Josie are eating a late breakfast after staying up watching an old black-and-white movie.
