First, a good place to stop and go visit is in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (TN). Pigeon Forge gets at least 47 inches of rain per year. Snowfall is around 6 inches. Tormented by the dry Texas sun, and the poor soil, the plant life in Eagle Pass High school has no chance. Everywhere you look there is dead grass and dead trees. However, in the middle of a field filled with the dead behemoths of trees, there stood a small struggling sapling.

When growing up as a child, children are typically taught their home address, the city where they are from, and the county that they live in. It is important for children to know these things for various safety reasons. The importance of this importance spreads to various ways of life. One important reason of knowing your county is for weather purposes, emergency alert purposes, and for voting purposes.

There are many things the people in Liberty Ranch High School can do to make the school much healthier. I purpose Liberty Ranch should do activities to help us with our eating habits like keeping a food journal, inviting a professional health speaker to help make the school healthier, make food posters or a nutrition class.

In this essay I will be talking about the Kansas state fair. At the fair you can go to the cattle show where you can see cows of all shapes and color. Skinny cows fat cows brown cows and black cows. They all have vivid smells of cow turds and dirt. While at the State fair you can also go to the food court that smells like deep friers, cotton candy, and roasted corn. When you look in the windows when you order your food you will see deep friers with delicious food sitting in them being clocked to golden perfection. While you are at the state fair, I would suggest going on rides. They are the funniest rides in Kansas, they have the slingshot, which shoots you in the air while your adrenaline spikes.

Having a textbook free environment. Empire High School, is the first school to have a textbook free environment. The influence of technology has the student’s form Empire High School “more engaged with learning”. Tablets carries 3,500 e-books, so there is no need for textbooks. Tablets are superb for the environment, it lowers the mass of paper.

At Kenzie middle school it was a cold, rainy Friday afternoon in Chicago Illinois. There was fog all over the ground, it was like a fog machine, so much that you could barely see the playground. It was a nasty day out! At the middle school there was a lot of after school activities. For example, all of the characters are after school in the tumbling program called , ASTP.

Every four years, on February 6th, the Iowa Caucus, a meeting to select presidential candidates, begins. Some individuals would assume Iowa holds no significance. However, Iowa helps predict the top presidential candidates for the upcoming presidential election. Over the years, “Iowa has become a king maker;” whereas before, the event was widely neglected by candidates during the 1800s (Iowa Pathways.) In other words, the Iowa Caucus is a series of meetings which helps predict the future candidates in the Republican and Democratic parties, and recognizes the top candidates which have the potential to win the election.

Nothing compares to the Iowa State Fair was the theme for 2015 fair. In 268 days the Iowa State Fair will start and approximately 1.1 million Iowans will attend this fair. The first Iowa state fair was in 1854. The first years of the fair moved from city to city until the current location of East 30th and East Grand in Des Moines determined the site in 1886. The state fair is noted for it’s varied attractions. The entertainment ranges from agricultural, contests, venders, rides and arm wrestling.

The nonprofit organization that is of interest to me is Humanities Nebraska. I have been very passionate about humanities since I volunteered for Heartland Family Services in high school. Humanities Nebraska has a lot of history within the state, a strong mission statement, several programs, a large and dedicated staff, major contributions to Nebraska, goals for the future, and financial information that deems them worthy of a grant. During my research of Humanities Nebraska, I have become more and more impressed by their organization and all they do for the state of Nebraska.

Today, both eighth and seventh grade is going to Folk Fair today for a field trip. Last year I went with my class and it was a really cool experience. When you get there, you can see the many cultures with the people who represent that certain country. That was the time when my mom chaperoned and spent most of her time buying Polish plates, while my group and I looked at all the booths that contained the many articles of clothing and accessories. This time, I'm mostly excited for the food, to be honest. I know that I should focus my attention more on the cultures booths, but I can't look at all the savoring amounts of foods that's in front of me and not want to stuff my face. Yet, I believe that the Folk Fair today will be fun and exciting,

The unfortunate crisis event, that took place at the Indiana State Fair, caused the organization to experience a negative reputation. Unfortunately, the negative reputation was a result of poor crisis management, crisis planning, and failure to put the safety of the attendees and employees, as a top priority. In preparation for a high school baseball game that involves hundreds of people, I would carefully research the actions and decisions that were made by the Louisiana State Fair officials and management. To begin, I would assess my crisis management team, in an effort to determine if new members, with admirable strengths need to be added, or if some members need to be removed due to lack of strengths, knowledge, and team learning. Whereas, Mother Goose Club provides a series of storytelling using real people and also using animation. The characters capture the children’s attention by their infectious voices, and coupled with their colorful costumes. All the while by enhancing the mood and tones of the story being told with their voice overtones. In fact, classic Mother Goose rhymes include an array of props, to engage the listeners. While including songs, rhymes, and music to get the children involved, this is especially great for young children. The storytellers are retelling Mother Goose classics or a new song like “Brush your teeth” while teaching the children to go through the motions keeps children involved.

What i[CP] would like the Donors to build in my area is a perminent[SP] fair .I say a perminent[SP] fair because the fair we have now , it come and go . Everywhere we go people say oh my god , i cant wait until the fair comes back . The donors should bulid a perminent fair in my area \. The people around would enjoy that . People around has birthdays ,some has kids . Kids really enjoy the fair . Exspecially for their birthdays .They would go with their friends , walk around ,eat , and ride some of the rides. During the entire two weeks of the fair around two million people will come to see everything with there being anywhere from 150,000 to 250,000 people that show up every day of those two weeks. The experience for me at this great event may be quite different than that of a tourist coming to see what is so great about this huge fair. I have been around pretty much the entire fair and tried so many different foods and walked by so many different booths and vendors that it would take up way too much time and too much of my paper to tell you about all of them.
