When asked why do you want to be in National Honors Society, many things came to my mind. Some being, the awesome volunteer projects, the camaraderie of being in the Society and the joy of being in such a highly regarded club. I want the opportunity to be part of this club because I believe in the activities they participate in and I believe that I am a perfect fit for National Honor Society. Additionally I want to be in National Honor Society because I think it offers up many great opportunities. For the future of National Honor Society I believe that they can do even more to help the students. I presume that National Honor Society could hold tutoring sessions for students struggling. Furthermore I believe they can be involved in programs

I will use the honor of being a member of NHS to set an example for the younger generation of Storm Lake, starting with my four younger siblings. I hope to add to the character of Storm Lake by being a positive influence on those around me. Volunteering in the community will allow me to gain skills that I will use throughout high school and into the rest of my life. I hope that you consider adding to the National Honor Society roster as I truly believe I can do great things for the Storm Lake community.
If you were to elect me to be a National Honor Society officer, I would accept the responsibility with much humility and gratitude. As an officer, I will ensure that every student involved in the organization has the best experience possible. I will also provide great leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and an overall prestigious character to the role of an officer. Not only do I take pride in our school and NHS, I also take pride in being a leader and role model to my peers. Conclusively, granted that I posses the experience and knowledge that is necessary to uphold such a position, I would make an exceptional officer for the National Honor
Throughout high school, being a member of National Honor Society has benefitted me in ways that have bettered me as a student and as a person. As a member of this organization, I have had many qualities instilled within myself that I will carry throughout my entire life. The four pillars of National Honor Society: Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service have been brought to me through this organization, and without them I would not be who I am today.
In order to be accepted into the prestigious organization known as National Honor Society, four main requirements must be met. These requirements are scholarship, service, character, and leadership. Throughout this essay I will strive to show that I hold all of the previously stated qualities to a great measure. I believe that during my three years at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School I have properly exhibited and expanded these qualities to their fullest potential therefore qualifying me for the position as a member of the National Honor Society.
The reasons I should be allowed into the National Honor Society are because of my selfless character, my outstanding leadership, the background that I have in service, and my exemplary effort in academics.

I have many great qualities: Some of these qualities are leadership, service, scholarship, and character. As a member of FCCLA I have been able to expand these skills and characteristics to be able to help the community. Having these qualities has allowed me to help give a hand when I am able to and when it is needed. Although I already have these four characteristics, being a member of the National Honor Society would allow me to expand these qualities. Becoming a member would allow me to be more prepared for college and my future.
An application can only do so much to reveal someone’s character. I believe my application leaves much room for discussion, it does not fully describe me. As my resume indicates, I am actively committed to improving the community and helping others. What it fails to illustrate is my resilience, dedication, cooperativeness, and my confidence. I go into situations with an open mind, positivity and a dedication to build strong relationships with those around me. If there are obstacles stopping me from doing so, I try to overcome them. Recently, I was hired at a catering hall with absolutely no clue what to expect. Instead of being wary and apprehensive, I jumped right in; albeit some mistakes, I became increasingly confident as the evening progressed.
I believe that the National Honor Society should play a sizable role in the school community. The National Honor Society does an outstanding job commemorating students not just for academics, but also for leadership, characteristics, and service. Almost all other awards given at schools deal strictly with congratulating students for excellent academics, whereas top students of the National Honor Society excel in all of the criteria.
It is an honor to be chosen as a candidate for membership in the National Honor Society. Academics, leadership skills, service abilities, and character are four principal parts of a superior student. The reason that I am interested in becoming a member of the National Honor Society is because the National Honor Society represents all of the values that I find most important in my education and life. I have worked diligently to achieve and maintain this grade point average while taking several advanced classes. So far, I have taken three classes for college credit and plan to take multiple more during my senior year. Through the course of my high school education, I have realized how important it is for an individual to develop and maintain these studious habits. All of the habits I have developed through becoming an excellent
