I have many great qualities: Some of these qualities are leadership, service, scholarship, and character. As a member of FCCLA I have been able to expand these skills and characteristics to be able to help the community. Having these qualities has allowed me to help give a hand when I am able to and when it is needed. Although I already have these four characteristics, being a member of the National Honor Society would allow me to expand these qualities. Becoming a member would allow me to be more prepared for college and my future.

I am interested in becoming a member of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) because it will help boost my leadership and social skills, character, citizenship, and help me to become a better scholar. These skills are important because they will help me learn to listen to other people’s ideas and share ideas with others. Also, NJHS will help me learn to lead and take charge, help my community, and maintain a good GPA to get into a great college. I am also interested in being a member of National Junior Honor Society because my sister was in it when she was in middle school and they did multiple interesting and productive projects, activities, and field trips.

The National Honor Society is not only a privilege to be a part of, but is an outstanding achievement for the person. To be a member of the National Honor Society, I believe I must have characteristics such as: being a role model and having leadership, superb academic standings, and an overall character that will encourage others. I want to be a member of the National Honor Society because I feel like I qualify for the characteristics I have listed above. As for being a role model and having leadership, I have never been in any kind of trouble, and I am always open to help anyone who needs it, including schoolwork or personal matters. Although I have only been in National Honors Society since last spring, I believe I have nevertheless demonstrated the kind of commitment to the community that NHS members exemplify. Throughout high school, I have been involved in many school-related and independent charitable activities. I have participated for the past three years in the annual Feed My Starving Children food packing event at the high school, one year staying late to seal the 300,000th meal so we could reach our goal. I have volunteered for Osceola Public Library on numerous occasions, and I have also volunteered for the Books for Africa and Operation Christmas charities.

There are many academic goals I want to achieve at Loveless Academic Magnet Program. First, I want to be inducted to National Honor Society since I was in National Elementary and Junior Honor Society. I wish to make a 32 or higher on my ACT. In addition, I would like to receive a four year scholarship to Auburn University. I also plan on making the volleyball and cheer teams.
I deserve to be a member of the National Honor Society because I feel like I’ve earned it. Over my high school career, I have been through many challenges, but I learned to face them head on with a positive attitude knowing how good the outcome can be. The reason that I am interested in becoming a member of the National Honor Society is because the National Honor Society represents all of the values that I find most important in my education and life. National Honor Society requires academic excellence throughout high school. At the beginning of my Freshman year, I set a goal to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. I have worked diligently to achieve and maintain this grade point average while taking several advanced classes. So far, I have taken three classes for college credit and plan to take multiple more during my senior year. Through the course of my high school education, I have realized how important it is for an individual to develop and maintain these studious habits. All of the habits I have developed through becoming an excellent
