Before I attended to HS 200 class, I didn’t have enough information about what kind of jobs that I could get in with bachelors of science in health science degree. I had planed to take MCAT after graduation to involve into medical program. However, my plan was changed since I attended this health science class because of the assignments that I have done during this semester for the class, such as the research of the graduate program and the job search. When I did the research of the graduate program, I found that I was interested in health science administration. So, I looked up in more than three different universities and I read a lot about health science administration. While I was doing the research, I thought about searching for a certificate
The Egyptian people were the most successful ancient civilization. For example, they created the pathway to the afterlife like passing challenges. Also, they were the ones who made the tombs with gold and jewels to show respect to one’s death. Lastly, Egyptians made Pyramids which are one of the biggest things in this world and still to this day historic landmarks.

The Eighth Amendment protects the right of prisoners before they are tried and after they are convicted. It also bars excessive fines and “cruel and unusual” punishments. In 1641, the Massachusetts Body of Liberties standards allowed the death penalty for blasphemy and had physical punishments such as cutting off ears and branding with a hot iron. But now the death penalty is no longer allowed in some states because its defined as “evolving standards of decency” and most are extremely cruel and the cost is expensive. The Eighth Amendment prohibits mentally ill persons to “cruel and unusual” punishments. The Supreme Court case in 2005 of Roper v. Simmons is about Christopher Simmons and he was sentenced to death in 1993, when he was only 17.

As the CFO of Community Memorial Hospital, I have a major problem on my hands that could lead the hospital in a financial bid. Bill Jacobs, the Human Resource Director of Commercial Intertech (CI) which is the largest employer in the community, has signed a contract MegaPlan Health. MegaPlan is a known insurance company that gives hospitals a very hard time especially when it comes to discounts and fighting claims the hospitals make. Since all of our employees and their families will be using MegaPlan Insurance and Community Memorial is not on their Preferred Provider Network (PPN), I need to figure out if we should work with or without

In high school my career pathway was in Health Science. I earned two certifications that were available in this class, which were: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, and Direct Care Staff Person. Key skills I learned from the health science pathway were: Accuracy and attention to detail, Listening skills, and observation skills. Those are just a couple of skills you need to progress in health science. My half brothers’ mother is a dental hygienist, so she helped me learn what I could to do as a dental assistant and in the dental office, possibly allowing me to progress to a dental hygienist in the future. In the summer I intern in our local dentist office in Scranton, Pa. As for the CES money that Milton Hershey School gives student here, I earned about $150 each marking period.
This summer, I have worked in a team of six to complete a code conversion that will prepare Jackson to use updated web browsers that have higher security features than the one’s currently used. In our group, we have learned how to document use cases, provide diagrams that represent what the user’s see as the code is executed, and how to implement jQuery for cross-browser compatibility. Over the course of the summer, I have noticed that each person in our group have abilities that benefit the team as a whole. Tin, James, and Neel have strong coding backgrounds and are more than willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who has questions about coding, and they all do it with a positive attitude. Brandon and Melissa have a firm foundation in coding

Graduate certificates are growing in popularity. For college grads that want to gain skills or a resume boost, a certificate can be an easy way to meet goals without enrolling in a full graduate program. Consider the certificates now offered at several universities. Students that already have Master's degrees can earn graduate certificates by taking less than ten additional online courses. Certificate programs include specializations in Business and Technology Management, Education, and Psychology (Arabe, 2003).
My interest for public health stems from the need to aid numerous people in disease and injury prevention, health protection, and strategies for health promotion. I hope to earn a Master of Public Health with a focus in the area of health care management as well as hospital administration in relation to public health policy development and education. I aspire to develop enhanced intervention policies that can provide the population with direct access to primary health care due to public health preparedness education and strategic planning.
