How Is Obama Successful

Barack Obama has impacted America in many ways since he was elected the 44th president on November 4th, 2008. The first African American president of the United States has taken the world by storm and done many great things for this country. Barack Obama has accomplished many things in his personal life, and also as the president of the United States. Obama has affected the world financially, economically, and rebuilt our image as a nation.

President Barack Obama has been the voice of millions of Americans. Through his hardwork and determination, he was able to give healthcare to those who cannot afford it. Also, he was able to help some Americans get jobs and increase their minimum wage. His progressive work has helped the United States recover from the recent financial downfall.

Barack Obama has many achievements and will be remembered well in history. In the past year, Obama took action that directly affected the black community. High incarceration rates, police brutality, healthcare, and education were some of the issues he addressed.

On the other hand, however, others argue that obama wasn't a great president because he failed to keep many promises that he said during his election and he did not improve race relations in america.Clearly there are many views and opinions on Obama and whether he has been a good president to serve america for all these years. I believe he was a good president _because he did so much for america and accomplished so much but he doesn't get the credit he deserves.This issue is important because not many people realize all of the stuff obama has done during his presidency to benefit america despite congress denying every one of his decisions.Look at the various achievements obama has made over the course of his presidency. There was three ways “A Dream Fulfilled: The Story Barack Obama” impressed me. One way he impressed me, was how he handle being biracial at the time period of the civil rights movement. Barack having a Kenyan Father and a White American Mother during the middle of the civil rights movement. The President has been dealing with losses and tough experiences since birth. “Away from my mother, away from my grandparents, I was engaged in a fitful interior struggle. I was trying to raise myself to be a black man in America, and beyond the given of my appearance, no one around me seemed to know exactly what that meant” (Pg. 67).
