The Space Race impacted the world in so many ways. The Space Race started the scientific discovery of space. It started the way space is viewed today. The biggest accomplishment was getting a man on the moon. Accomplishing that gave hope to not only America, but the whole world that they were getting facts about space and what is beyond us. The impact was known all around the world and it was not just a discovery for one country, but for the whole world. It started a revolution of the space age leading to more exploration to the moon. The United States took it to the next level with NASA and has come a very long way. The world changed a lot after the Space Race. Space was taken much more seriously. The United States opened NASA which is the biggest space organization. NASA accomplishes so much with all the technology and money they have. The discoveries did not just happen in the United States, other countries started discovering space too. The Soviet Union still tried to discover more even after they lost the Space Race. More countries attempted to try and get up in space. It was a momentous time for the whole world. The study of space would not just affect one country, it would affect the whole world. If they found something amazing it would help the whole world understand the way that space actually is. The Soviet Union played the biggest part in this by starting the Space Race. while so many other momentous things were happening it was definitely the best thing that was happening in the world. The Berlin Wall, the war in Korea, the war in Asia, and the Cuban missile crisis were all happening around the world. The achievements made in space were some of the only positive things going on.
