Having A Public Dog Park

I think dog parks are a good idea. Dogs need alot of exercise and play time. Many cites and urban areas just dont have the room for that to happen. But there are optoins there many open unused lots, and empty building that could be torn down to create these places. I am a dog owner myself i live in the country were open space is abundant. My dog Neno can run a play all he wants it's good for his health and mental state. When he doesn't get out he gets cranky and chews thing around the house. I grew up in a city of five millon, so i know how hepful a dog park can be to dog owners. You should always have your dog around other people, and animals,

To many complications will come from a dog park. Such as situations like a dog attacking another dog or even attacking someone else. This can cause a lot of upset owners. Also many painful court cases. Dog parks will bring up a lot of legal issues that we don't need.

Before you jump to the hasty conclusion that I’m opposed to a dog park because I do not have a dog, let me assure you I do have a dog and am aware of my responsibilities as an owner. I would certainly agree that a dog park is a beneficial addition to a community in which many residents own dogs. The particular benefits that such a public service offers should not, in my opinion, be dismissed.

Dogs should have their own parks,because when dogs aren't getting the physical and mental excercise that they need, their behavior tend to get worse. ASPCA has a study that shows the rate of dogs biting humans went down drastically in places where they're dog parks. ASPCA also believes that if dogs had a park then their would be less incidents of dogs attacking humans,barking, and destroying things. Many dog owners have given their dogs up , because they started to act like''bad dogs'', this is because they don't have a dog park to excercise all their energy everyday. Dog parks are places usually in a protective environment where pet owners can take their dogs for exercise and to socialize with other dogs. We as a comunity have to deside if we can use a dog park. I live in Kalispell Montana and in my case we dont have a dog park. I belive that a dog park is essential for a large community. They have so many positive things to bring to the table. There are some negative things, but as I see it the good out weighs the bad. Hopefully my opinion can persuade the people against it.

I believe most if not all cities should have a public dog park. Since I was nine years old I have always owned a dog. I have lived the city all of my life as well. Living in the city there is many apartment buildings with little to no yard space. To keep a healthy and friendly dog the dog needs exercise and play dates. Because most pet owners in the city have no yard space for these activities. a public dog park is the perfect solution.

Safer conditions for everyone. It is important we keep pets healthy both physically and mentally, a dog park can do both. A reports states that dog-bites went down 36,000 per year in new york after allowing off-leash parks, That was potintaily 36,000 law suits right there that are elimantaed just by alowing dogs to get proper exercise. Should dog parks be public or private? As a dog lover, I personally would love to have a publicly paid dog park every fourth block;however, this is an unrealistic dream. In this composition I wish to point out the following things: the benefits and features of a public dog park, and the actual cost and tax burden on the tax payers.

Man's best friend cannot thrive in current urban environments. Muscatine, Iowa should build a public off-leash dog park for the city's dogs and dog owners, as its creation solves canine behavioral and health issues and pet owner struggles. Communities can be better as a whole after the introduction of a dog park.

While its impossible to ignore the monetary costs of building a dog park the quality of life improvments made are substantial. As the owner of two dogs I can say the socialization of dogs is extremely important to thier well being. Many dogs live sheltered and alone which goes against thier natural instincts, this can and will cause them to be afraid of other dogs and humans causing attacks out of fear. Giving all dog owners access to a dog park allows those seemingly aggressive dogs the chance to integrate with other dogs and lower aggression and prevent attacks.

Constructing a dog park in a residential area is a beneficial plan for any commuity congested with building complexes or townhouses. The fact is that dogs of most breeds are not banned and if the county is going to allow animals then adequate grounds for them to excersice and be in their natural outdoor habitat is pertinent. Yes their are nay sayers on every subject and idea, but the truth of the matter is that dogs are a not illegal to have. Pet owners that follow guidelines ans have licenses and leashes, they are responsible for training the animal to be obedient to their orders and everyone knows the better a dog is tooken care of, the gentler it will be. Dogs deserve and need free space to run yet should by all means have to be on a leash

Giving a dog her own space play a big part in the dog world.When it comes to a dog"whose only excersise is his daily walk around the neighborhood", it can get kind of boring.Giving a dog a dog park will allow her to be free to run,jump,and bark as loud as she wants. She would not have to worry about getting hit by a car or having different people complaining about how loud she is.People need their own space sometimes,like their own home when they want to be free so why not give a dog the same oppurtunity.
