Welcome to Mt. Edgecumbe High School! Coming here, far away from home may be nerve-racking, but you just got accepted to one of the best schools in Alaska. Not everyone who applied got accepted, which is why you shouldn’t take this opportunity for granted. Attending MEHS, Mount Edgecumbe High School, is way different from being at home; for instance, you’re not living with your parents anymore and you have to teach yourself to be independent. This may seem frightening, but by coming here you can get a better education than from where you live, which is why I encourage you to stay all four years. Since you’re a MEHS Brave now, I am going to tell you some things that I personally like and dislike about MEHS. I will also tell you what to expect while you’re …show more content…
There are many things to like about Mt. Edgecumbe. I appreciate the education given to us, the chances to learn new things, and the many beneficial opportunities. First of all, the education here is better than where I would have gone to school back home. I can take classes like Anatomy and Physiology to prepare for my future. I can also take college classes that would give me actual college credits before even finishing high school. Going to school here is also a great chance to focus mainly on my education for the next four years and not get distracted by what’s happening at home. The teachers are another reason I enjoy the education here at MEHS. They want us to succeed and always tell us if we need help to just ask them and come before or after school. One other reason I like being here at Mt. Edgecumbe is because of the chance to learn new things. Coming here you learn how to be independent; you are
So … snaps fingers … wow! This is a lot of people. Well, first off, congratulations everyone; you all made it this far. Hopefully you will be able to make through this speech. According to page ten of the Chisago Lakes High School Student Handbook, all of you have earned at least 28 credits in a variety of disciplines throughout the last four years. And for those English nerds out there, I do have a properly formatted works cited page if you would like to fact-check me. Don’t worry.
Good afternoon fellow classmates, beloved family members, wonderful staff of Palm Beach Lakes Community High School, and dedicated Palm Beach County School Board Members!
High school is supposed to be the place where you have fun and a time in your life you’re supposed to enjoy. Movies often trick you into believing that high school is an amazing time in your life and there is nothing but parties and fun. In Bring it on, they portrayed the fun and exciting part of high school cheer-leading, however they intentionally leave out the tough times high school students’ face in school and in their practices. In other popular movies, such as High School Musical the students have no pressures other than the next basketball game. In reality, this doesn 't happen. The constant pressure is affected by the grade level you are in. In high school, students can be classified based on the pressures that are faced in each grade level into the categories of freshman, sophomores/juniors, and seniors. I am here to help you make your high school experience less stressful.
As a Catholic community we must seek to live the life that Christ has shown us, to serve rather than be served. Our daily lives must begin and end with the love for God. And with our strong faith community, we can achieve greatness in all that we do.

During the last three years of my attendance here at Mt. Edgecumbe High School, I could not think of a teacher who has influenced me more than yourself. You’ve taught me to not only appreciate music, but to appreciate life. I’ve spent a total of four semesters in your Choir class and one semester in your Accounting class. We’ve traveled to two music festivals through Choir class, which are two of my most memorable experiences here in MEHS. I’ve also been apart of the MEHS award-winning Radio Club under your supervision. You’ve certainly witnessed my development as a maturing adult. It would be an honor to have a letter of recommendation from a teacher like yourself. Thank you for making my high school years enjoyable. If you choose to write
Foothill is a high school were we value the traditions of respecting our staff members and we would like to thank our new staff members of Foothill High School for giving us the time to answer our questions. We welcome you with open arms to this fantastic community and hope that your goals for this new school year are accomplished.
I dance 20 hours a week, and found it very hard to keep up with my school work. Many other students have the same problem with their after school activity. If we didn’t have the option of attending a K12 high school, there would be fewer up and coming athletes in the world. In this essay, I am going to tell you why it is a good idea to have a transfer offer from public high school to online high school. There can also be many issues that teens face in completing their school work on time, and correctly. Some students do not have time to do their work in the best effort and skills that they can do, which brings their grade and self-esteem down in a flash if they do one thing incorrectly. Some students do not have time to do school work at
Be ready because 7th grade is going to be a wild ride! Be ready for tests, projects, and assignments galore! And on those assignments, just read them. I know, I know, everyone just skips to the questions and looks for the answers in the passage but in 7th grade it’s just better to read it. The teachers know, its like they have a 6th sense! As far as the cafeteria, the food is probably going to be the same, so just plug your nose and maybe the food will go down without a fight! When you’re going to gym, RUN! Well, don’t actually run, you might get in trouble and I would be to blame, but, seriously walk as fast as you can. You need to be there before anyone else so that you can change in a shower stall and be done with it. Adding to that, BRING
Going to the twenty fifth annual rivercrest high school class of twenty nineteen reunion, excited and nerves. I’m excited to catch-up with everyone and see what they have made of themselves. Ready to talk to my old school friends and even see a few of my old teachers.
Hello, I would like to be the first to welcome you to Niles West High School!
Hello, I am Sean Hart, I am a 12th grade student here on behalf of Legacy High School.
Welcome to the next four years of walking down the same halls, hearing the same bell and seeing the same faces, welcome to Pickens High School. As an upcoming Sophomore, I have seen a year at our town’s only high school and we are certainly blessed from remarkable teachers, bountiful amount of clubs to choose from and staff to assist anyone in need.
It is extremely hard to choose what you want to do for the rest of your life at only age 17, but Keystone High School tries to make it easier for their students. Keystone High School requires you to have this career research done for you to be able to graduate. There are a lot of steps involved in getting your final essay done. Like gathering information throughout different websites, interviewing a person in that field, and writing a huge essay about what we have decided on our lives. During our phase one of the career research project, we had to look for what we do in our jobs. Phase two we had to go out into the real world and interview or job shadow someone already in that field, so that makes us be able to make a better decision. But
Welcome all to the graduation of the Hadley 8th grade class this year. I want to begin by saying a big congrats to the graduating students of 2017 for making it through all the bumps and swerves in this winding road we have had in these past three years. As I begin, the thoughts run through my head of how our time here had one terrifying beginning, memorable end, and a middle consisting of lots of late nights, rushed mornings, different kinds of distractions, and tests many forgot to study for. Every year I spent here I gained a little more independence, and became all that much closer to who I am today. So today we are celebrating us, and all the milestones we have achieved in our adventure here at Hadley Jr. High.
