Good afternoon fellow classmates, beloved family members, wonderful staff of Palm Beach Lakes Community High School, and dedicated Palm Beach County School Board Members! When it was brought to my attention that I was selected to give a speech, I freaked out. Throughout my four years of high school, and most definitely before that, I have loathed all of the moments where I had to speak in front of others. I could never seem to make those butterflies in my stomach dissipate and I would zoom through my presentation. This transpired whenever I presented, and, as my former English teacher Ms. Keisha Tooks-Riley put it, I would always ‘take that L.’ However, standing here, I hope to turn that L into a W today. As we find ourselves on the edge of beginning a new stage in our lives, I would like for everyone to remember when we first strolled through the halls of Palm Beach Lakes in August 2012. We were all such young, innocent children. We had no way of knowing the trials and tribulations we would have to endure to be able to …show more content…
Thank you to my mom, Christian Asuncion Martinez Corona, for not only being my mother and supporter, but for being my friend as well. You have taught me invaluable lessons in life, I will use every single one of them in my life. Thank you to my father, Galal Hassan Hamed. You truly are the hardest working and dedicated person I have ever met, and Even though you can’t buy that house in Gainesville to follow me when I go to the University of Florida, just know that I will be forever grateful for everything you have done for me. I could not have asked for better parents in the entire world. I would also like to thank Katya Hernandez and Elton Campbell, two of my best friends. The two of you are the greatest friends I could have ever asked for, and I thank God every day for meeting both of you. Thank you for all you have done for me, and I wish you all the best in your wonderful
So … snaps fingers … wow! This is a lot of people. Well, first off, congratulations everyone; you all made it this far. Hopefully you will be able to make through this speech. According to page ten of the Chisago Lakes High School Student Handbook, all of you have earned at least 28 credits in a variety of disciplines throughout the last four years. And for those English nerds out there, I do have a properly formatted works cited page if you would like to fact-check me. Don’t worry.
Families and friends welcome to Montgomery Village Middle School 8th grade promotional ceremony. Today we embark on a new chapter of our lives as we end our middle school careers. We’ve spent the past three years of our lives in this wonderful place. We were given the opportunity to grow and learn. Our teachers, one of our biggest supporters, the ones we have built relationships with. Our teachers have seen us grow. They have been our guiding hands throughout our middle school career. The teachers in this school deserve the world. They motivate us each and every one of us each day. Most of us were able to mature throughout middle careers. We’ve grown aware of our surroundings. We’re all well aware of what’s to come as we open the next chapter
Furthermore, I do not regret a single part of this year, and even parts of eighth grade I was dreading, such as the National History Day project, turned out to be wonderful learning experiences that I genuinely enjoyed participating in. Thank you, teachers for continuing to find ways to encourage our further learning. Thank you, fellow classmates for helping me and making me smile. Thank you, Mrs. Arzola, Mrs. Chung, and all of the South Pointe staff for investing in so many new programs. And finally, thank you to the whole South Pointe community for supporting each other as we all continued to grow together and find out what our true passions are. I am both excited and extremely nervous for my journey into high school, and I can only hope to find another school as great as this one, that will continue to shape our lives just as South Pointe has. So, as we exit the grounds today and move onto high school, I can’t help but think that we will all reconvene here when our children will have the privilege of walking in our
I would like to say a few words to you, not sufficient enough to express my great appreciation to you. I appreciate you very much, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you are giving. It is not to be taken for granted, and it is to be admired. I believe that everything we do in life returns to us, so I wish you that all this kindness will return to your lives.

Thank you very much. You have made a real difference in the lives of the students we serve. We applaud your generosity, thoughtfulness and devotion to Seagull Alternative High School.
I’d like to thank you for donating to my band fundraiser to help us pay for both of our trips this year! Also thank you for being such a great friend and co-worker to my mom, she speaks very highly of you. I would first like to thank everyone who makes Keizer University Orlando Campus, represented by Dr. David Hubbard. If Keizer has an excellent team work this is due to the management led by you for so many years. My first contact was with my dear Consul Loyal Ray who welcomed me with great enthusiasm and encouraged me and made me believe that I could get my age back to study after 27 years of training in my country of origin Brazil. Then my second contact was with Mr. Dr Hubbard in my Orientation. I heard through your speech that Keizer treats the students as a person, not as a number. And that you have fulfilled in all the 3 years that I have lived here. I learned a lot here at Keizer and I have grown up as an American citizen
to thank my sister Michelina, Joel, Dad, Nanny, Ken & Jarret, Uncle Ian & Aunt Kari,
Lastly, a very particular thank you is expressed to my mum for her love, support as well as
They are the best father and mother-in-law anyone could wish for and I appreciate everything they have done for me in the last six years and I love them to bits. I'd like to thank my friend for arranging the mini bus at short notice when the limo didn't turn up and making it possible for us all to go to my stag do. What a great weekend we had, we won't forget that for a long time. I'd also like to thank every one who came with me for what was a brilliant weekend..
A special thanks to my parents for having faith in me and providing moral support to continue learning. I would also like to show my gratitude towards all of my friends who supported me.
