Some of the cost savings small towns can obtain are energy and water. They can do this by changing all street and traffic lights to energy efficient bulbs. By getting the whole community to support the sustainability plan, the can achieve even more savings by having residents change all household bulbs to energy efficient bulbs. Residents can also change their appliance to energy efficient ones to keep the energy cost down for the entire town. Also, if the town gave rebates to residents who changed their faucets and toilets to energy efficient ones could lower the towns water cost.
