Suppliers and vendors are huge to CVS Health and I think they will continue to be. They do have their weaknesses and I think that adding more stores around the world will help some of those weaknesses. The more demand goes up the more that CVS Health will be needed. There will always be hospitals, doctors, clinics which means there will always be a need for food/pharmacies around the US. CVS Health also does “Social Responsibilities” “grants for improving health and healthcare nationwide”. Which is really great because healthcare and health can always use the extra money to put into testing out new medications or even for equipment they may need in certain offices, clinics, hospitals whatever it may

Partners HealthCare is a non-profit, health system located in Boston that created a data based transformation (Davenport, 2013). It integrated a new system that aligned the participating organizations to cohesively run as one and to help shape the future of the organization. The system didn’t stop there as it was responsible for bettering the patient financing experience and the delivery of healthcare information to other organizations (Davenport, 2013). The initial goal of the organization was making patient care more affordable and accountable by providing integrated, evidence based, patient-oriented care.

Pharmacists are health care professionals that work in their communities to raise the quality of life for the patients they serve. Pharmacists have been working at Consumer Values Stores (CVS) since their first doors opened in 1963. The company has since largely expanded and has become the second largest retail-pharmacy chain in the United States with more than 8,000 store nationwide. CVS is a billion dollar company and has since changed its corporate name to CVS Health along with becoming a leader in corporate social responsibility. The chain is going to great lengths to improve public health all over the country by doing such things as ceasing the sale of cigarettes in its stores and starting a nation-wide smoking cessation program called “We’re Tobacco Free”. CVS has also partnered with MinuteClinic to operate inside some of its stores.
The Omega Ultrasound System would be the best choice to green light for the Healthymagination initiative. After assessing all the potential products, we determined that the lack of concrete metrics, difficulty or uncertainty in measuring outcomes, or clinical relevance to the Healthymagination goal rendered the TEEMax, UltraLipo, and HepEcho unfit for launch. We’ve outlined justification for this decision in (Figure 1.), but we believe the Omega system provides the greatest opportunity for meeting Healthymagination standards with the best chance of obtaining definitive evidence to support the certification.
After looking at organization configurations, I came to the conclusion that McKesson is a combination of all of them which is an integrated network. As stated in Chapter 4, “To do this requires an organizational model where the assets, resources, and capabilities are arranged in ways that are very different from the global organization’s centralized hub configuration or the multinational organization’s decentralized federation of independent operations” (Bartlett & Beamish, 2014, p. 301). This is one of the key reasons that makes McKesson a successful corporation. McKesson is based out of the United States and distributes its medical and health information technology all around the world, with locations in Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom (citation?).
