1. Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life. It is so important because that is what we will have to do to support ourselves throughout life. My whole life I have always wanted to do something where people will remember me. Throughout this course, I have learned that I do not know what I want to do with my chosen major. I do not regret majoring in Criminal Justice because I’m positive I want to do something within the criminal justice system. I have learned that I’m open to different ideas and career paths. Through the course, I have learned that I’m a great multi-tasker, I’m always prepared ahead of time with my deadlines and I never had to give excuses as to why something is not done on time.
a. I never expected to learn more than what this class had to offer. Even though the semester is over, I feel I’ve learned a lot about myself, and life after college. I spent about half of the year wearing sweatpants, baggy, flashy clothing, and I was okay with that because it’s important to feel comfortable. This semester, I have also learned that if you dress well you get the respectable attention and needed. When I had the interview and had to dress up, I noticed many people looking my way and praising me, I felt respected and felt good about myself as well. Stepping out of my comfort zone has never felt so good. I believe this would help me in my future career to try new things and take risks. All in all, I have learned that I
11. Employers faced with the need to downsize, perhaps on the heels of an earlier reduction as was the case with ATC should consider a voluntary separation program to minimize legal risks. Voluntary separation programs have advantages over involuntary programs.

With all the jobs out there in the world, how does anyone decide what they want to do with their lives? Most of the time this is the first question young people ask themselves when they are trying to figure out what they want to major in at college. This question caused me a lot of confusion about my possible future career. The career I finally choose, like many other young adults, was law enforcement, to be a police officer. In the following paragraphs, I will describe the reasons for my choice, along with the effects that my education and training have on my goal of becoming a police officer.
Art is one aspect of the past that has carried on for decades. Art in any form may it be poetry, novels, and playwright, sculpting as well as painting, has been an outlet for generations and continues to be an outlet and a means for expression. This paper will discuss “ The Mona Lisa” one of Da Vinci’s most famous paintings, as well as another great painting, Antonio Veneziano’s
As I am entering into the final semester of my MLS studies I have the desire to gain more working knowledge of various library types and their practices. I would like to secure a practicum that will enable me the opportunity to gain practical hands on experience in a special library. Though this experience is not required for completion of my MLS degree I feel that the knowledge gained from this practicum placement will be invaluable. It will help create a more well-rounded and versatile professional base to draw from as I continue in the library profession.
These last five weeks in EXP 105 has really helped me learn a lot about learning in general, and also it has helped me to understand myself as a learner. If I had to explain the concept of learning to someone who has not yet taken this class, I would tell them that it is simply knowing who you are as learner and knowing what are your intentions are when it comes to learning.
For the final reflection, I have accurately notate the sentence I have spoke depending on how many rhythm are there in that word like basketball are three rhythm so i would draw eighth note of 3. For the every word I have notate it correctly which has made the rythm well and have 4/4 in each bar and there are no more or less for 4/4. The some area that I could have improved are the maybe on writing the reflection since the reflection are long that we need to have 3-4 paragraph which is like an essay and my english is not really good which can cause making the mark go lower.
On September 6, 2017, I were documented for an incident that involved a University Housing policy violation. I was charged with violating the University Housing Alcohol 1.2 policy. With my violation, came consequences. I met with The Residence Conduct Coordinator to discuss my actions and came to the conclusion that I would have to schedule a meeting with The Campus Alcohol and Drug Education Center (CADEC) and with that, a reflection paper.
During the course of this class I have been introduced to the different disciplines of writing and researching. The separate styles of documentation are the social sciences, humanities, and history. Each style and discipline call for its own structure and specific style of writing. The journey and education received through this class can be construed as an event created of multiple emotions. To be frank, a love and hate relationship was formed among the modules assigned throughout this class. The articles and stories provided were wonderful to read, learning how to construct the information into each corresponding style however, was a bit frustrating.
As I begin my final semester, I start to reflect on all the things I have done with my time here at Ashland and wish I could relive my four years all over again. Thanks to the many organizations and clubs on campus, I was able to be actively involved while still focusing on my studies. In my freshman year, I joined American Chemical Society and have been involved at the collegiate level as well as the national level since then. Both the collegiate and national levels keep me up to date with happenings in the chemistry field and allow me to learn about new advancements or technologies. In my junior year, I decided to go through formal recruitment where I accepted a bid from Alpha Phi. I immediately fell in love with Alpha Phi and was given the position
Every fourth-year teacher trainees will have to conduct practicum and will work under the guideline of their associate teachers and supervisors. The purpose of doing the practicum are to put training into practice, to become accustomed to teaching in the tertiary school settings, and to develop and expand each trainee’s teaching expertise and confidence. In the following paragraph, I will express what I have learnt from doing practicum to reflect on my past teaching strengths and weaknesses from the teaching practicum.
Over the course of the semester, there has been numerous amount of areas where I believe I have improved in comparison to high school. What has helped me in my writing is the writing class and the in-class writing workshop. The writing class that is located in the Kremen education building has helped me with my writing greatly because in the writing center the person in charge teach us lenses and we apply those lenses to the writing, draft, or reading that someone brings in. The in-class writing workshop has helped me because other students get to read my writing. This is helpful because I get feedback from many students and they let me know what needs to be fixed. A new tool I have been using is They Say I Say. The book is very helpful because of the information and examples it provides such as the templates. I have been applying the templates into my essays and I have seen a significant difference.
Finding a specific career path can not only be difficult, but it can also induce bouts of anxiety, anger, and sadness over a crucial part of an individual’s life. Settling on a career can be unnerving when thinking about the fact that this is the career that you spend thousands of dollars on in college, that this is the career you will work in until you retire. With this course, I’ve found that it has been easier to narrow down a goal towards finding a career. Through career assessments, different assignments and discussions, I have realized what my barriers and strengths are. Overcoming these and improving these skills or applying them to an actual career assisted me in narrowing my goal as well. I am now able to clearly see the advantages and disadvantages of my career goal and to think clearer about the next steps that I will take after this course.
Since the beginning of the semester, my writing has changed and evolved to accommodate and sustain longer essays. With longer essays, there is more room for in-depth analysis. Further analyzing a topic has led me to findings that I did not know existed. As I continue to write, I uncover addition and superior methods to approach my writing to the benefit of me and therefore, my audience. Throughout the semester, I have incorporated techniques to further my narrative throughout my writing.
