Roethke attended Arthur Hill High School and later graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1929. I have always know that I wanted to go to a Historically Black College or University. I have visited a few of them and fell in love with the atmosphere it. A HBCU is different from any other college. When I first looked into HBCU colleges to apply for, Fisk University was my first choice. I am interested in Fisk University because I feel it is the perfect fit for me.
