One upon a time in a land far, far, away, a baby was found on a shack and was adopted, her name was Friedchickeniqua. Her adoptive mom, Amy, wanted her daughter to be unique so she named her after her favorite food, you guessed it, fried chicken. She was very small, chubby, and bald, Friedchickeniqua wasn’t like the other girls either, at the age of 4 she already knew the periodic table. By the time she was 9 her beloved parents have discovered that their baby girl was indeed a “whappot”, a whappot is a magical creature that is half leprechaun, and half witch. Whappot School for Girls is one of the oldest buildings in all of Shenebra, she made her way into the entrance, and went up the flight of stairs. She was hoping her roommate was going to be Ella Julian, but soon she found herself disappointed it was only Mya she was the most vane person she has ever seen, she thinks she is one of the royal families. “Boop!! Boop!! Boop!!” It was the school’s emergency meeting alarms, Friedchickeniqua ran as fast as she could down to the emergency meeting room. She quickly sat down and noticed that there was a member from the Julian family, she was confused. “We have found that the long lost baby is a 11 years old Whappot female.” They announced. Friedchickeniqua opened her eyelids, looked to the left, and could not believe her eyes, her blood was as blue as the sea. Right then and there she fell down out of her chair and fainted onto the cold, hard, floor. She wanted to prove to Friedchickeniqua that she was a Julian, so she told her that there are 10 gifts: mind-control, mind-reading, super strength, flying, time travel, camouflage, shape-shifting, mimicry, invisibility, and healing. Every member of the family is the keeper of one each expect healing, she took a nearby pen and stabbed herself finger, Ella in pain asked to grab her finger. When Norse F. Rabalais who was born and raised in Simmersport, Louisiana (Avoyelles Parish) was a child there was no navigation lock to lower ships to the Mississippi, the water just poured out, ships with it, and flowed into the distributary known as Atchafalaya. A lot of parishes above New Orleans and quite a bit north of Baton Rouge (Louisiana’s capital) there’s a navigation lock in Mississippi’s bank allows ships to drop out of the river. Because of nature, they drop up to thirty-three feet then can go west or south. This is something very strange and rare between the river and its adjacent terrain. That adjacent terrain is known as Cajun country. The local parishes are Pointe Coupee Parish and Avoyelles parish.

David Njoka is a tight end for the Cleveland Browns. Almost everyone who has played with him knows him as the freak. It’s not because he is weird or anything like that, but Njoku is just more athletic than anyone has ever seen. He has an amazing ability to jump sky high. In college he was on the track team along with football. At track he was highly know for his jumping abilities. So when it came to football he used that ability to leap over defenders to score touchdowns. In the Miami Herald they called him a “ leaping, pass-catching freak.” When Njoku was in high school he became a champion jumper. At the New Balance nationals he won high jump with a leap of six foot eleven inches. His personal best is seven foot one inch. So when it comes

The Republic of Fultzan is a huge, socially progressive nation, renowned for its anti-smoking policies, ubiquitous missile silos, and devotion to social welfare. The democratic population of 466 million Fultzanians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
Close your eyes and imagine yourself back to the time of reconstruction after the civil war. Your a freed slave, who is still seen as dirty rotten scum. You can't find a occupation because nobody is willing to hire a former slave.Thats where the Freedom Bureau comes in, built to help former slaves and poor whites fit into the reborn society after the civil war.The Freedom Bureau did the best they could to help former captives and poor whites. They supplied medicine and food, made colleges like Fisk,Howard,Hampton university's and Missisppi in 1816.
everyone knows it. When he is drunk, everybody respects him; and when he is sober, they all imitate him” (171). The female verse ends with a repetition of this line, portraying the soldadera as defined by her husband and her loyalty to him even in a song that’s supposed to focus on her importance and role in the war. Parallelly, the male verse begins by stating the unwavering loyalty that a husband’s wife gives him, stating, “I have my Juana, my Juana comes with me, and the campaign is going to begin” (171). The folk songs of the Mexican Revolution accentuate and hyperfixate on a woman’s loyalty to a man, which comes to dominate her narrative.
Instead of criticizing Congress for its inability to fund governmental responsibilities, the media should first take a look at why congress is unable to present these funds. For instance, ideas such as “planned parenthood” or funds to deal with Zika virus are somewhat necessary for society, however government shouldn’t spend billions of dollars on those organizations just to prevent people from getting sick. It is entirely up to the individual to avoid disease in America. Tom Friedan is right, we are out of money, because the government spends all of it on things people should be taking care of themselves. If we want to be a sovereign nation, why should we let the government control the flow of money in our economy? Currently, all the government
Madera High is an ordinary high school in a fairly small town of about 60,000 people. Although the usual picture of bullying portrayed in the media does not occur here, there are still other forms of bullying and harassment that happen often. Cyberbullying has become the new form of harassment that teens use to bully other students. Social media is now the platform bullies prefer to use rather than the physical confrontation that bullying used to be. Through recent years, it has become an epidemic that has taken over the internet and social networks. It has made it even harder for students to get away from the bully or the person harassing them. At Madera High the amount of bullying seen at school by other students and staff is fairly low,
The Prairie Meadows Scholarship will help me to pursue an education at the University of Iowa. With the money given I would use it to earn a degree in engineering or a degree dealing something with the law. My favorite subjects in High School were math and science. My whole life math has always come easy to me and for some odd reason I have a passion for math. During my Junior year of High School I took my second physics class and gained an interest in physics. Besides math and science, when I was a young boy I always dreamed of becoming a police detective, I used to run around the house pretending I was getting all of the “bad guys”. Now a days I also find being a lawyer fun and intriguing. I plan on earning my degree and graduation college.
It all started on a dreary October night. The halls of St. Mary’s Medical Center were serenely quiet, it seemed to be an unbreakable shroud of silence. That is until shrill screams permeated the corridor. Weighing in at 10 pounds and 3 ounces, a baby boy was freed from his entrapment. This child, one of prophecy, was given the name Charles, bestowed upon him by his father. The child advanced quickly in size and intellect, growing out of putting random things in his mouth in just three short years. WIth his increased size and strength he gained a sense of comfort. He felt safe and was not afraid of the world, in fact, it fascinated him, it called to him and he yearned for it. He believed himself ready to explore it and so he did, small ventures around the neighborhood were not uncommon and many stray cats were captured. But his blissful sense of invincibility was waning and shattered at around the age four when the first of many unfortunate events befell him. The first resulted in a faceful of concrete and a few broken teeth, caused solely by the child's fascination with the hurricane force winds that whipped the giant palms around like they were made of rubber. And it descended from there…
Fukuda Kodojin (1865 - 1944) was a Japanese master of painting, haiku, and a type of calligraphy known as kanshi. Kodojin lived almost through World War II and maintained a literati lifestyle to the end of his days. His art name Kodojin means “the old Taoist”. Kodojin grew up in the Meiji Restoration (1868-1912), a time when Japan was suddenly modernizing and westernizing because of intense pressure from the Western colonial powers. This period sought to modernize Japan, keeping close interest in all things European – science, music, philosophy, art, and fashion. The Japanese, to compete in a modern world, looked to remake their country as an Asian version of England or Germany. During this time, more and more people turned towards Western
