Word had spread quickly on Fort Huachuca that contact had been made with Washington D.C. and the President of the United States. Everyone on post had questions but there were very few answers forth coming. It was fortunate that General Watkins and Colonel Clayton happened to be on post when contact was made. General Watkins was more than happy to take the lead on the call with Washington as the post commander was at North Island visiting Admiral Meyer. There had been some initial contact with someone claiming to be Corporal Byrd from White House Communications. It was lost for some unknown reason only to return almost two weeks later.
First and foremost, two of Cleveland's big three must perform better. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love shot a combined 14.3% (4/28) from the field. This kind of efficiency is detrimental to the Cavaliers offense. It is their worst combined shooting percentage since becoming teammates. This poor shooting night shouldn't happen again, but for Love this isn't a new struggle. The forward is averaging 17 ppg, but is only shooting 36% from the field. He usually gets to the foul line, but failed to get there in game 3.
“I thought from what I was looking at, they really competed,” Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue said of his team’s effort without James. “Holding a tough team like Dallas to 95 points, outside of the three that D-Will (Deron Williams) made at the end of the game, that’s a pretty big step.”
Cn checked in feeling happy and was open to discussion. Cn shared with Th how the talent show went and the anxiety that she had.
In Coach K’s book Leading with the Heart Grant Hill is allowed to write the forward and talk about his coach from the perspective of a new college recruit, and later he speaks as a friend and confidant. What Coach K teaches is about life and leadership. He sets the bar high so you can 1) strive to be the best you can be; 2) appreciate the value and rewards of a hard work ethic; 3) build close relationships based on trust; 4) set shared goals; 5) sacrifice and give of yourself; 6) win with humility; 7) lose with dignity; 8) turn a negative into appositive; 9) be a part of something bigger than yourself; and, 10) enjoy the journey (Krzyzewski, pg x).
This is a reflective essay based on my attendance at a multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting whilst on my two-week placement at a local mental health day hospital. The aim of this essay is to discuss the importance of the multidisciplinary team within the mental health environment and discuss factors that can influence the success or failure of multidisciplinary teams.
Matt’s season had started in the middle of October. He was so excited, because basketball was a sport he loved. He was an excellent shooter when it came to basketball. His three’s were usually drained, without no problem. He was ready for basketball to start. He usually played point guard. He went to all of the practices and was ready for the basketball season to start. He was so hyped on the day he walked into the doors at school. He was so excited to kick off the season vs. El paso-Gridley. After school ended the basketball team had gone to Michael's to eat before the game. After eating they stopped at BP for some Gatorade. After BP it was time to come back to the school to get ready. During warm ups before the game,
When it comes to the family, Troy did everything that he can do, where it’s providing the shelter
In the Article “Why Confidence is Always a Leader’s Best Friend” published to Forbes.com on May 9th, 2017 by Victor Lipman, Golden State Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr said --"As a leader one of the things that's most important is to know your team needs to see you as confident."
He demonstrates these qualities not only on the basketball court, but in his everyday life. LeBron James, no doubt, has other traits that I did not mention, but the traits that I picked to write about I feel are the most predominant in his lifestyle. He has such a busy life, yet he never seems to give up and takes time for others, whether it is his family or his team. Ultimately, LeBron James always has the media and everybody else watching him, yet he chooses to make good decisions and live by important principles to inspire others to do the
Knight new the basketball game, but he lacked in leadership skills, his approach to his player was harsh and unkind. When you are leading a team or the fore runner of an organization you must lead by example, respect your staff, communicate, and treat others’ the way you want to be
Hoegl & Gemuenden (2001) observed that the definition of teamwork is a social system including more than three people in an organization or context. These members identity others as one member of the team and they have the same goal. Yasenia was very confident and showed enthusiasm when she spoke. She was very engaged when answering questions. Additionally, she was very humble as well as friendly. She had a nice bubbly personality. Overall Yesenia’s behavior remained professional. At the closing of the interview she asked a couple of questions. She asked about the chances of moving up in the organization and how often did Free Arts promote from within this was a good question, but then she said that she didn’t know what to really ask because she had only recently looked it up online. This was very unprofessional and revealed that she was too comfortable during the interview.
Once finishing the interview I recall thinking that I had forgotten one major factor within the interview, which was taking notes. This would have to be my only major weakness that I found I had whilst interviewing Mary Doe. At the time I was so focused on eye contact, so it was really easy for myself to just ask the questions and get lost in the answer whilst trying to figure out what question to ask next. The lack of note taking in response to Mary Doe’s answers left me forgetting to listen one hundred percent as I was switching focus to what came next. When researching how I can improve this skill there was a lot of positive feedback on how to strengthen this skill. One that I shall be focusing on for future interviewing opportunities is to continually jot down small phrases as spoken, any specific information that is useful
“Ok girls, pack up your stuff for camping, but remember we’re only going for one night.” Our councilor ,Greer, told us. So we packed our stuff in bags and went to set up our tents.
