CTS OF SHOPLIFTING IN THE SOCIETY/COMUNITY
Shoplifting is a major problem in today’s world. I myself was recently caught shoplifting and now I have to face the consequences for the bad mistake I made. The temptation of not paying for something is very big factor in why people steal. The shoplifter thinks he is getting a product for free and doesn't know what he's really doing to himself and the community. Shoplifting affects yourself, your local neighborhood and the world population.
In this essay I'm going to explain some of the circumstances of stealing from local stores, or any store. After I was caught stealing, I realized how much impact something you do now

It can also affect you towards the community because if you have shoplifting on your record, it could be difficult to get a job. Especially in retail and the store you stole from. Community service is also an inconvenience to shoplifters that get caught. The shoplifter is stuck doing numerous hours of work on their own time, without pay.
The consequences of shoplifting also affect you and your family members majorly. An example of this might be if you have younger siblings. If your sibling is aware of the situation or even aware that you’ve shoplifted before, he or she might think it’s a good idea and that they can get away with it. Older siblings are a big influence on younger siblings and they often look up to them. If they know you steal, they’re going to think its okay. Another reason this affects your family is because of your parents. Your parents also have to go through a lot during the process. They have to attend meetings with you, usually drive you to your community service site, and schedule meetings. Parents also tend to lose your trust after an event like this. Trust is a big issue and it’s really hard to get back, you must earn it. My mom has always taught me to be honest, hardworking, and trustworthy. These qualities were always really important to her and after all this happened I knew she would be really disappointed.
Shoplifting affects a lot of things and people including yourself, your family, the merchant, and

The obvious reason that someone would 'love' shoplifting would be that she wanted to have items she could not obtain with her current paycheck. However, the author does have a job, and over the course of the essay she does not specifically identify many expensive items that she would like to possess but cannot buy. "Everything changes when I shoplift. I'm no longer negotiating with faceless, inhuman entities that have no concern for my welfare; instead, I'm taking what I need without giving anything up." Her main complaint with capitalism is the impersonality of its

Committing an injustice to the law, whether it is of misdemeanor or felony in nature, the consequences will always have a subsequently negative affect on what that person's future may hold. For example, when applying for a job, criminal information is required to be supplied and, more than likely will be researched. If you should "have
If you do shoplift you feel immense humiliation and distrust from friends and family, and your own conscious is hurt if it isn't then there is something wrong with your feelings not to feel bad about stealing from stores. Every time you steal from stores they are set back that much money and might even have to fire someone that could be one of your friends.People in the community lose respect for you.
Which leads to this statement “I stole and I stole generously” states many people who make a decision to involve themselves in criminal activity is not to help themselves, but also as a way to help their loves one too.
The scale of shoplifting in the United Kingdom in the past few years has changed to worrying levels, this is also true of the scope of shoplifting as well. The Office of National Statistics have reported 321,008 police recorded shoplifting incidents from April 2013 to March 2014 (See Statistics 2010,), along with this articles have shown 34 of policed forces across the UK have presented a 6% increase in shoplifting (Pidd & Collier, 2014). Such academics as Klemke (1978) have claimed that shoplifting significantly reduces with age (See Egan & Taylor, 2010), it seems to be a so-called hobby that is popular amongst the younger generations, particularly adolescents.
It doesn’t directly impact the individual, instead, it persists due to its positive consequences on a large scale. For example, when an individual chooses not to steal, they are not rewarded directly, in fact, the choice may seem counterintuitive because it may negatively impact their life in the short run. However, the individual’s choice to not steal from John today, reduces the likelihood that John will rob him back next week. Because John feels respected and safe in the community, he respects the mutual agreement and all is good in the world. Although it is easier and more gratifying for an individual to be able to do whatever he want to others, it can be quite terrible to experience the same actions pursued against him, hence, the need for justice.
At present, stealing comprises a much broader kinds of activities than it used to; it would be enough to remember shop-lifting or numerous facts of counterfeit product utilization when intellectual property is stolen against copyright-based laws and regulations. Stealing, therefore, is expanding and spreading; moreover, the very notion of what is stealing becomes modified and fuzzy. What are then the instruments that the consequential approach
If my parents had been laid off at work and I had the opportunity to steal a loaf of bread at the bakery, I would not steal the loaf of bread for my famished family. Taken into consideration, these are the three factors that have influenced my decision on why I would not steal the bread. They are also reasons why larceny is unacceptable and why it should be restrained. First off, there is an abounding number of solutions that can be implemented, in order to exterminate the vigorous temptations/needs of stealing. Secondly, the aftermath of larceny has a devastatingly negative fallout on those around you. Furthermore, the results of larceny tend to result in various long term negative effects. Therefore these fundamental reasons are why
Shoplifting is said to be deviant, because the norm is to purchase the things we would like to own. There were many social controls I viewed while watching the episode. This behavior used by Bart resulted in Marge applying multiple negative sanctions, such as tucking Lisa into bed and singing her a song, then coming into Bart’s room to only tell him goodnight. The next morning she applied another negative sanction by not waking him up like she usually does, and after he came downstairs he noticed everybody else had a marshmallow in their drink and he did not. After telling his mom he didn’t get a marshmallow she handed him the bag telling him that “she figured he was a big boy and could do it on his own”.
On the way to “Twister Two” one of my friends suddenly had a candy bar in his possession. When he was asked how he got it, he simply replied, “I stole it.” It was so amazing to me that he could do that, and act as if it was no big deal. To me stealing would be a thing that needed to be planned and executed, but to him it was just another place that he ripped off. He explained that it is easy to do, “you just grab what you want, wait ‘til no one’s looking, and then walk out.” This is when I first began pondering the idea of stealing. I had never stole before because I knew it was against my morals, but there was that rebel in me that wanted to try it. He, on the other hand, had probably stolen so many times that he could do it with his eyes closed, and he had never been caught. Lucky him.
Thieves, for example, often worked in three categories, which included by themselves, as loners, or as a member in in street-level identity theft rings, or in occupational teams (Copes and Vieraitis (2012). The techniques often used by the thieves to commit their crimes were quite mundane despite the public perception of white collar crime being a high tech and computer driven crime. For example, offenders restored digging through trash cans, stealing mail from individuals mailbox, low methods of technology, and would often have workers, whom were under their payroll, steal information from their employers. It was concluded by Copes and Vieraitis (2012) that identity thieves often were not quite different from street offenders when it came to their motivations and neutralizations as to why they committed the crime. For example, Copes and Vieraitis (2012) claimed that identity thieves often committed crimes as a result of the need for money and the thrill and power which was often exerted and came with committing the act, due to the pressure and anticipation of the act itself. Lastly, identity thieves often justified their crimes, similar to that of street offenders, through relying primarily on denial of injury, denial of the victim, appeal to higher loyalties and sad tales, thus, allowing them to minimize the damage to his or her self concept and allow them to
Do people ever think about the consequences about drug abuse? Not many of us do but we all know what it does to us. Drugs are harmful to the brain and the body system itself; they affect the heart in many ways and because of that people become unconscious as to what their actions are. They do not realize how badly they can harm the community around them. Drugs are normally used by those who are not involved in activities such as, religious clubs, sports, etc. The users are normally stressed out with life and at times they just need something to set their minds aside from problems which occur in their everyday life. There are many reasons as to why and how drugs affect the community around the drug user
