Eassy For National Honor Society

Being chosen by my teachers and other leaders to be a candidate for membership in the National Honor Society is a great honor for me. It means that I have achieved my goal of demonstrating my determination and willingness to help people and serve the community. I believe that I am able to become a valuable member of the NHS because I am hard working, reliable and I possess all the qualities required by this prestigious organization, such as scholarship, leadership, character, and service abilities.

I am very honored and proud to be considered as an applicant for the National Honor Society. I am aware that this is an honorable and distinguishable organization and that not everyone has such an opportunity. I believe that I would be a valuable and serviceable member to the Nation Honor Society organization at my school, Piedmont Community Charter School, as well as within the community.

Joining the National Honor Society will provide me with the skills to apply myself towards helping the community of Manassas Park. As a junior, I wish to challenge myself towards furthering my ambitions. Contributing to NHS would allow me to bring my skills from volunteering and my experience job shadowing and use them to help the community of Manassas Park. Volunteering and job shadowing has helped me feel a greater sense of pride and identity towards myself. As a determined, respectable student , joining NHS will allow myself to grow and contribute to my community. Finally, NHS would benefit from my calm, dependable attitude and I am thankful for the opportunity to be included in this distinguished organization.

First, I would like to express my gratitude for being considered for entrance into the FHS Chapter of the National Honor Society. It would be a great honor to represent our school in such a prestigious organization. NHS serves those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. NHS is a great opportunity for students to serve the community. I have plans to improve MHS National Honor Society and make it even better. To make NHS better I would make sure that students get to know everyone and not just stay with their friends, I would make sure that the service projects are helpful to the community, and I would make sure that the activities interest the students into coming.

I am writing in response to the letter that I have received to apply for the National Honor Society, and I am interested in becoming a member. NHS was first brought to my attention my freshman year, through peers and some teachers who would talk about all of the good outcomes and opportunities that can come about from being a member. From that point on, that has been my goal. I have worked as hard as I could to get up to where I am today.

I am honored to be among the many students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I believe that this organization does amazing things not just for the students at Harrison Community Schools but for everyone in the community and the surrounding communities. I hope to be a part of furthering the impressions that this organization has set among the public. I strive to be apart of NHS and the positive changes they inflict on many lives because I have worked hard to get to this point. Leadership, Character and Service have brought me far in life therefore they are my strength to evolve into positive changes that better everyone.

In order to be accepted into the prestigious organization known as National Honor Society, four main requirements must be met. These requirements are scholarship, service, character, and leadership. Throughout this essay I will strive to show that I hold all of the previously stated qualities to a great measure. I believe that during my three years at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School I have properly exhibited and expanded these qualities to their fullest potential therefore qualifying me for the position as a member of the National Honor Society.

I feel incredibly honored to be considered as an applicant to the National Honors Society. The National Honor Society recognizes high school students around the country for their achievement in academics, leadership, service, and character. I believe I obtain specific qualities necessary in NHS. I have acquired a good academic record, leadership skills, work ethic, and some great characteristics. I feel worthy of being selected as a National Honor Society member, because have displayed a high academic record.

The National Honor Society is an organization that serves the community while building the character of the individuals who are members. The National Honor Society provides the opportunity for a member to serve their community, and earn experience that will influence the rest of their life. Individuals are not separate from their community, and the NHS will provide its members with the opportunities to enrich the community together. As an individual, my capacity to serve my community is limited by individual talents, but as a member of the NHS I will better be able to serve my community in a group of like-minded individuals with different talents and abilities. Upon entering high school, I hoped that one day I would get the chance to apply for the National Honor Society. Now that the day is finally here, I believe it is such a high honor to be considered in the company of so many students whom I admire for their impeccable intellect.

Throughout middle school, I participated in NJHS. I enjoyed the club and my advisors always recommended that I join NHS in high school. I like to think that I deserve this honor and this chance because I have worked very hard to get here. Leadership is one of my greatest attributes, and helping others is a passion of mine. Moreover, I am extremely ambitious, giving my all when completing a task or reaching a goal. My dream is to become a surgeon and I want to engage in the National Honor Society throughout high school and college, as the club will significantly enhance my leadership skills and aid in bettering myself as a person. I see this society as another avenue in which I can challenge myself, and set myself up for success. There are many benefits of being an NHS member, scholarships and recognition being some, but these are overshadowed by the effect of the expectations applied to students. Leadership, character and community service are all required for each member. These are lifelong skills that are sharpened within NHS.
