First and foremost I would like to thank you for recognizing me as a candidate for the National Honors Society. I hope that you will see me as someone that can bring new ideas and positivity to the group, as well as being open to trying new things and growing within my faith. Including myself in all types of service is very important to me. I am very passionate about helping and bringing joy to others lives when they are in need of it the most. There is so much more I can bring to the table and I hope that you will see me as a great addition to NHS.
It brings me great pleasure to be considered a National Honor Society candidate. NHS is a highly regarded student activity to be involved in. It is in this group that the most passionate students reveal their dedication to everything. Selected students demonstrate a variety of outstanding qualities. Members of NHS are actively responsible scholars, reliable leaders, and devoted characters. Being selected as a member of NHS would give me further opportunities to extend my role as a student. It would also allow me to expand my ideas and make them permanent. I would like to be member to dedicate myself in school and in the community.
My goal in attending a United States Service Academy and becoming an officer in the military is to provide myself ample opportunities to reach my established life goals. I plan to pursue a career in aerospace engineering, and developing that career through one of the academies will help me to achieve the dreams I had as a child. I have many strengths that will help me stand out in the application process, but at the same time, I have challenges to overcome. However, these obstacles will not hinder me from from pursuing my passion.
I want to provide a positive attitude that can help improve the National Honor Society. It might seem like something simple and worthless to some, but to me having a positive attitude in the face of adversity makes me a stronger person. Unlike others whom can provide incredible ideas or stupendous promises, the only thing that I truly offer to NHS is that I would work hard no matter what in order to help the Cardinal Hayes community grow. I'll become a team player that can understand what it takes to properly accomplish goals that the team aims for, when others are looking at the horrible things at the present moment I wanna be the person that anyone can rely on. My personal desire is to help the organization overcome obstacles and to be able
I would be a valuable member to the NHS because of my strive for greatness in everything and for my personality full of leadership qualities. I am a very hard worker and enjoy helping others. I wish to join the NHS to develop character, become a better leader, and encourage excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities, and in the community. When i put my mind to something, I do it. While being a useful member to the NHS at Thornapple Kellogg high school, I wish to be seen as a leader by my peers and community. I am very qualified in all criteria of being a successful student/leader with plenty of character and service experience.
I feel honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the National Honor Society. There are several reasons, such as having a strong character, earning a scholarship to a dream school, demonstrating my leadership skills on and off of the club, and the service I’m prepared to sacrifice to the National Honors Society. However, after reviewing all of the reasons, the pillar in which I excel is leadership. I believe it is the most suitable quality for the NHS. I've played a variety of sports in my life ranging from basketball, football, track, and baseball, and they’ve influenced me not only as a player and my performance, but have also aided me in various aspects of my life that have fulfilled my qualities as an individual.
Within the school and community, I demonstrate many qualities of leadership. To help promote school activities, last winter and spring I participated in the production of the musical by set painting. I spent time after school, during the weekend, and during study halls to paint the set so it was ready by march. I hope to
NHS Essay by Lauren Walz I remember the first time I was introduced to NHS. I was a freshman and saw other students walking around in capes and being very confused. Now that I have done my research on NHS, it is one of my main goals in high school, to be inducted. I understand becoming an NHS member is every high schoolers dream, but in my opinion, I think I have the qualifications to become one. I am a very outgoing person so many already know who I am as a person, but there is still so much to learn about me.
Today I am going to be talking about how immigration from the European Union affects the NHS- our national health service.
I bring more to the table than just this one page essay. I am vibrant, confident, hard-working, and a leader in the making. Life has so much to offer me and being invited to join this inclusive student honor society is just one of the many fruitful opportunities that I have worked hard for. Dedicating time to character, service, leadership, and scholarship is what I am doing round the clock. An opportunity like NHS is one that came knocking and I am going to open it and give it my
Being in NHS would give me a variety of opportunities for leadership and community service. Whenever I join a new activity, I always search for ways to lead my other club members. I have close to one hundred service hours, made the A honor roll three semesters in a row, and I’m able to lead other people efficiently.
To be selected for NHS is both an honor and a privilege. If selected I will bring the same positive attitude to the club as I would to my school work and FBLA. I am willing to participate in any tasks offered to me whether in or out of school. I will continue to make a difference in my community
I am honored to be nominated to be a candidate and a part of the EHS NHS community. After further looking into NHS and its community I would like to say that I would greatly respect it if I were a part of it. I believe that my leadership skills along with my character and service would be a wonderful example of someone in NHS.
I have been taught for as long as I can remember, by my parents to work hard and to always do my best. As I have grown older helping others in all they do has become a very important part of who I am. I feel like this is an important part of the NHS. I’m not afraid of hard work and helping others. I enjoy challenges and feel with every challenge I conquer I become a better and stronger person. I am honored to have been given this opportunity, and want to make the NHS better by helping in all ways.
I demonstrate my leadership skills by organizing and planning projects in the Digital Multimedia Club. In helping my community through volunteering and other activities, I have proved my eagerness to serve the common good. By succeeding in school and through my other club or community activities I show that I have the character necessary to be a member of NHS. I am honored to be offered the opportunity to apply for the NHS and I look forward to the other opportunities that will be provided, should I be
