Hello Professor, If Stephanie does decide to remain in a relationship with Geoff, she should set relationship boundaries. The relationship should be strictly professional during Geoff’s supervised practicum. I do not think it is possible for Stephanie to remain Geoff's supervisor at this point. Her judgment about Geoff might be affected; she may be willing to give him better grades or ignore bad behavior. It will be wise for Geoff to request for a new supervisor.
I am writing in reference to Bryan Canterbury and his practicum application. I have known Bryan for (___) years as his neighbor. I have found him to be a hard worker who is self-motivated, reliable and punctual. For example, Bryan works fulltime at nights and attends schools fulltime and still manages to maintain a 3.89 GPA, which requires dedication and motivation to achieve. In addition, I had set up a meeting with him and a doctor at the CDC, and he arrived more than 30 minutes before the scheduled time. This speaks volume about his abilities to be punctual. Bryan is an outstanding person with great leadership qualities.
Alex informed the team I am going to sleep at night, but I have to wake up to early to catch the bus. Alex stated, “Mrs. Telisha has been giving me Melatonin to help with my sleep.” Alex’s foster mother shared with the team, “Alex have mood swings frequently.” “Alex commented, “I am ready to go home.” Alex’s foster mother reported, “Alex is very helpful; however, he continues to try to take care of the children.” Alex acknowledged, “I am proud of the progress I made, so I feel like services should end.” Alex’s listened as the QP shared it is important for him to have services when he return home in 3 months to address barriers and prevent a relapse. Alex has made minimal progress with stabilizing his mood, as indicated by Alex having mood swings while in his foster family’s house and getting adequate sleep and having a stable appetite.
At my practicum site we are using Athena health as an (EMR) Electronic medical record. Every facility has their own ways of doing things, but the goal for everyone is patient satisfaction and community health promotion. At the practicum site where I’m currently precepting, first of all, when the patient comes in, a medical assistant would perform an intake on them by doing the vital signs; height and weight check and puts them in the EMR. Moreover, they also obtain the information from the patient about their chief complaint, refills required or any other issues that they need to discuss with the provider. So when the provider comes in, they know what to expect and why patient came in today. Then, the provider obtains the history of present illness and performs a necessary assessment, and
Justice informed the QP "I don't want to go to tutoring I can just wait and go Thursday."
There are legislations at the federal government level resulting that every state in the united states of America also have state legislation covering the mandated reporting requirements. My Attirney has advised me to ask you if you intend on sharing your false allegations and hear say to the Nursing Board? And if so that will will fight it 100%
Mead & Hampson (1996) developed a study involving the divided visual field paradigm and a phonological rhyme/non-rhyme task to test the speed and accurateness of either side of the brain. This study was used to investigate functional asymmetry between the left and right hemispheres in phonological processing. The research was taken out equally on 15 male and 15 females London Metropolitan University students ranging from ages 18 – 35 years old. They were all specifically chosen to be right–handed and had English as their first language thus providing a fair experiment to see whether our left hemisphere (left side of the brain) or the right hemisphere is faster and more accurate. In conclusion using the mean and standard

In this article review, I will be reviewing the article written by Anna Jo Perry called The Practicum, A point of change. I will be discussing what the article is about, the importance of communication between the associate teacher and the student and other staff members. I will also be discussing why I believe the article would be of interest to an early childhood teacher or a parent of a young child.
Furthermore, during this week, I met with Linda two times, each time for two hours and discussed in more detailed the "process improvement" project that she is working on. When I began my practicum at Chicago Proton Center, one of my practicum objectives was to be able to describe the Project management and Process improvement. Thus, most of my time this week was spent learning about this project and pleased to say that I successfully achieved this goal. Subsequently, I will explain in more details what are the various parts that go into this project, the general process of how the project was initially planned, developed, and completed. While the center struggles to meet its projected patients volume, Linda's project focuses to increase patients volume by improving communication across the departments within organization, to identify the issues that other departments have that affect the overall patient flow in the Chicago Proton Center.
The Mandatory Reporting Training available from the Arizona Child Abuse Info Center is a free on-line training open to anyone but targeted toward Mandatory Reporters. Mandatory Reporters are designated by Arizona State Law, ARS 13-3620. They include five categories of reporters: professional reporters, peace officers/ clergy members, parent/stepparent/guardian, school personnel/ victim advocates, and “any other person who has the responsibility for the care or treatment of the minor” (Arizona State Legislature, n.d.). As Social Workers, we are responsible under this law to report if, in the course of our professional practice, we develop any reasonable suspicion of abuse toward a minor.
My practicum was a good learning experience of practical public health work and exposure to how zoonotic disease is handled by multiple public health departments. I appreciated my experience giving me the knowledge of day-to-day public health work and what it means to be epidemiologist. My classes in epidemiology prepared me well for understanding terminology and the process of outbreak response. Particularly, my Applied Epidemiology course provided me with the critical thinking skills to evaluate published literature. In reviewing my work I used multiple public health competencies including biostatistics, epidemiology, communication and informatics, leadership, professionalism, and program planning.

My practicum took place on September 7,2016 from nine thirty to ten thirty. The practicum took place at Impact Early College High School in Baytown. The class I observed was Ms. Nguyen’s class of juniors and seniors that contained twenty students, seven boys and thirteen girls. The class appeared to be alert and ready to learn. Since this was their second period class they already had enough time to shake off their fatigue. The subject was Pre-Calculous and the topic was operations of functions. Students entered the classroom in a calm manner and socialized until it was time to start class. The teacher instructed the students to take their seats and take five minutes to write their assignments into their academic calendar. The teacher went
During the first half of my Integrated Practicum, I was independent for the most time, applying my critical thinking, decision-making, communication, and research abilities, but I also asked for assistance or support from my Preceptor and CCD if difficult question raised. I followed the CHNC standards of building trusting relationship and demonstrated professional accountability, responsibility, and adaptability in approaching clients, groups, community partners, nurses, peers, and other professionals. I worked collaboratively in teams and fostered growth with other nursing students by sharing knowledge or alternative approaches or offering the topics to explore. I am confident that I am gaining the necessary
