PSYCHOLOGY ESSAY: Introduction Developmental psychology is the the biological examination of changes that happens to human beings during the course of their life time. During the course of a life time of a human being ,certain biological changes happens. The development stages are divided into different stages. According to Erikson ,”the eight ages of development and the major life crisis are significant in terms of individual growth and development.”(Care human development,Student support Session.)As a social support worker,Iam entitled to understand the developmental stages and the life crisis that occurs during the growing of a human being in order to support the individual appropriately. The Stages And Strands (Lifespan Development) There are different types of development that a human being experiences straight from birth till death. Erikson divided them into eight ages of development. I am going to describe three of the stages. Childhood is a stage after infancy ,it‘s between 2 and 12 years. At this stage the physical development continious to occur. During childhood,the body of a child gets stronger and taller.When the child is physically strong , the child goes to school and gain more skills in fine motor skills and gross motor skills, through jumping,swimming, running or writing. At school the individual learn different subjects ,and new other languages. the teacher teaches the children through modeling and demonstrating.The individual then ,learn new skills
