According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary Online, the word success means “degree or measure of succeeding. Favorable or desired outcome; also: the attainment of wealth, favor, or eminence” (“Success”). If you ask me doing what you love for a living leads to happiness and happiness leads to success. Ashton Jeffries, says, “majority of athletes would tell you playing their sport every day is not work. They would explain their profession not as a chore but a choice, more of a vocation than an occupation” (14 Oct. 2015). You find in peace within yourself when you are doing what you love hence why athletes address their profession more of a vacation than an occupation. In a vacation you are indeed in peace with yourself you are not worried about anything but enjoying yourself and what is around you. That is what I believe a professional athlete must feel by doing their beloved
