The independent variable is the different materials that I will use to make three bridges of the same common design, the truss design which uses triangular beams because triangles are the strongest shape to use when you build bridges. The materials that I will use to make these 3 bridges are popsicle sticks, Lego bricks, and aluminum foil.
My dependent variable how much weight each bridge can endure before the bridge breaks apart. When you add weight tension is created. (tension is a pulling force that occurs at the bottom of a bridge) when tension is applied the connecting points (glue, pieces that snap together, etc.) will unconnect so everything will fall apart and the bridge collapse to the ground.

The aurthor states that animals could not able to adapt the crossing the way humans do, and provides three reasons for support. The professor explains that the animals will adapt to this behavior once they have an awareness about the how easy and safer that path will be and refutes each of the author's opinion.
Answer = A visual representation of the relationship between the independent and the dependant variables. Either bar or line graph.
This used engineering because we had to design a scale drawing of each piece and measurement in the design. There was only little room for human error for it could have been fatal for the design. This was a much harder project than the rest and it took a substantial amount of skill to develop a good plan for the bridge. This made the students think and perform precise (as always) measurements. Lots of math was involved in the building in the bridge.
Maintains clear detailed records of meetings and events that take place during the construction process.
The independent variable will be the weights that get added to the plastic in order to know what the final stretching ability is, so you can add 2 weights on the plastics. The dependent variable
•The independent variables is the different sized beakers… (50 ml, 100 ml, 250 ml, 400 ml).
In The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel. The Vietnam Plays, Volume One, Slaughterhouse Five, and A Long Way Gone survival in war is portrayed from the ability to overcome extreme states of conflict and war through training, luck, and personal determination. All of these works tell the story of survival, though not all the protagonist survive. In The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel. The Vietnam Plays, Volume One, The protagonist Pavlo Hummel is trained to survive even after the opening chapter starts with his death. In Slaughterhouse Five the protagonist Billy Pilgrim survives through shear luck as he bumbles his way through the war and in A Long Way Gone the protagonist Ishmael Beah ends up surviving through his determination to leave the
The independent variable is the water. The types of water we’re using our sink water, tub water, refrigerator water, and salt water. We are using these types of water because those are the types of water we have access to other water.
deliberately focus on developing our skills, then the results will come if we put in the time. It is really at its core, just producing a volume of work in order for us to get the failures out of the way on to extricating the gems.

The same problem would occur every winter and political leaders thought it was time for a solution to be found. Every winter the East River would freeze over, making it difficult for the citizens of Brooklyn to get to New York City. A solution to this problem would be the building of the Brooklyn Bridge. With the backing of political boss, William Tweed the construction of the bridge would soon be underway. After 14 years of construction and much controversy the Brooklyn Bridge officially opened May 24th 1883.
An independent variable is a variable that is manipulated and whose effect is being studied. The independent variable in this demonstration is the choices that each group had to pick from for their answer. A dependent variable is what changed due to the manipulation of the independent variable. The dependent variable in this demonstration was how the choices that each group had chose, or more specifically, how many people showed that they understood conservation and how many people did not.
The choice of a design concept for a bridge foundation is guided by various factors; several of these
Throughout the novel The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne displays powerful feminist ideas and behaviors present in many of the novel’s characters especially Hester Prynne. As the personalities and beliefs of the characters in The Scarlet Letter develop, rebellious acts against the traditional ways of Puritanical life unfold. Hawthorne depicts the rebellious nature of Hester, her daughter Pearl, and a few others to demonstrate the severe impacts these individuals have on the oppressing Puritan society, as well as the importance of breaking free from the strict and harsh Puritan lifestyle. Hawthorne reveals his bias mainly through Hester Prynne, the defiant anarchist and main character in the novel. By making Hester society’s antagonist,
