History of the Company Creative Media and Events Ltd (CME) is a private limited company in the Jamaican private sector, which deals with the areas of event management, public relation and media. CME’s mission statement is ‘To be the market leader in all our business ventures, doing always with integrity and purpose. A passion for God, creativity and a “think big” strategy is at the core of our businesses’. CME was formed in 2008 by Garth Walker, Chairman and Leighton Davis, Managing Director who together they have over 20 years of experience in Marketing Management, Event Management and Creative Development.

This topic shows to a student that making personal objectives can help to guide them to grow in many aspects and serve as a constant reminder and driving force to achieve their dreams. The business Creative Media and Events was chosen to explore this topic because of its recent noticeable growth in the public and business communities’ eyes. Creative Media and Events Ltd(CME) objectives impacts its decisions and seem to have positively influenced the business and its growth allowing the employees to also be influenced positively by it. Since the business and its employees are driven by good objectives they are excellent at what they do so customers can be confident and happy with what they receive.
Background of project
The nature of CME is of the event management, public relation and media industries, which as of March 2014 employs 25 employees. The main literatures used are Hall, D., Jones, R, Raffo, C, (2010) Business Studies (4th Edition), Peter Simpson and Kathleen Sing, (2008) Management of Business Unit 1. Which are academic literature this is because these books are easily at my disposal and have been approved by my school for the use of learning and teaching cape management of business.

Media Analysis ‘Media’ is the plural of the word ‘medium’, which often refers to different ways of communicating with other people; if the target is a large number of people, then it is called ‘mass media’. There are many types of media, such as TV, radio, films, newspaper, Internet etc. The main purpose of media is to entertain; however they can also be used to persuade, inform, explain and advice. Media can be very powerful; therefore people are influenced and affected by them.
Today in the late 1990’s we can not escape advertising it bombards us from all types of media and every aspect of our lives. It is a multibillion-pound industry that stereotypes genders and tells us what we could become if we use certain products.
This both sculpture is of a man, one is looking at a direction, while one is in the middle of a swinging motion. Both sculptures is are made of marble. Marble is “metamorphic rock derived from limestone, composed mostly of calcite”. Back then marble was commonly used in a lot of the sculptures that were made. In the Michelangelo sculpture of David, he is holding something in the lower shoulder, looking at a certain direction. In the Gianlorenzo sculpture, David is holding a weapon, while having a different kind of emotion than Michelangelo’s David. Both sculptures would have taken a long time to do, each one is very detailed, and has their own personal meaning behind why they are the way they are.
The objectives, which a company wants to achieve, can be varied. They can range from sales revenue maximization, increasing market share to growth. Growth is one of the most common and sought after corporate objectives because of its relative advantages. This is so because many perks come with the expansion of a business, which appease almost everyone.
I have chosen the movie Signs to do my worldview analysis on. First, I will discuss the worldviews that the main characters in the movie have. I will then answer the question of if the characters were true to their worldviews. I will also discuss the obstacles that the main characters faced that deterred the character or characters from living out their worldview. Lastly, I will describe mental, emotional, or spiritual reactions I had to the movie as well as explain if I agree or disagree with the worldview present in the movie.
