After I graduate I am taking the summer off to have some quality time with my family before they help me haul myself up to upper peninsula Michigan. I am going to start college next spring at Lake Superior State University. The plan currently is to get a degree in computer engineering with an emphasis in robotics. While I do that I want to participate in local choirs and dance groups. Once graduated I want to embark on a career that will utilize all of my passions. I want to use music, art, robotics, and dance to improve the world. "If your dreams don't scare ya they ain't big enough"(Life of Dylon "Dreams") "this crystal ball is always cloudy except for when you look into the past" (Fall Out Boy “thnks fr th mmrs”) My high school career,
Pairing this with my passion for math and science, I plan to pursue a career in environmental engineering and global development. Upon college graduation, I hope to join the Peace Corps, working to safeguard food security, water access, and agricultural sustainability. When I return the United States, I want to continue in this field, making sure clean water is available for everyone in the nation. The water crisis in Flint, MI has given me a clear vision of the work we must still do to guarantee the health and safety of our own. After this, my ultimate dream is to found my own non-profit organization, focused on sustainable agriculture and development abroad.
I would love for the Admissions Committee to reconsider their decision because I feel that if I get accepted to Purdue University, I will be able to give back to the community/campus. My biggest goals for that would be able to join a fraternity and have connections of people in Purdue and commit myself to the fraternity. I would also love to be able to join groups or a club on or about helping one another. I am a person who loves to donate their time for people who need it most. Throughout my high school an some of my college year(s), I have gone to food pantries, food donations, and community work to help the homeless and hungry in downtown Indianapolis.
My technical skills combined with my experience with educating kids of all ages sets me apart from other candidates. Since I am self-taught and well-versed in many programming languages, I believe I have a deeper understanding of programming. Teaching yourself the languages requires you to understand the fundamentals really well; hence, I have the ability to breakdown the concepts when teaching in the camps. In addition, most candidates that apply I believe have an interest in computer science mainly; however, I have an interest and experience educating students. I have a passion for educating others and sharing the knowledge I have to help open up opportunities in the lives of the students.
I currently hope to and am on track to graduate with a bachelor of science’s degree in biology by May 2019. I aspire to be get accepted into University of Kentucky’s medical school and to graduate from med school by 2023. Once, I have graduated from med school I plan on going into the field by working at a hospital to complete my 2-3 years residency. Once I am board certified I plan on opening my own health clinic. I am first generation college student.
I am very interested in pursuing a dual degree with Wharton and concentrating in management (specializing in Innovation and Entrepreneurship) together with a college degree in fine arts. I also plan to pursue a master’s degree in either product design or fashion design after graduation. The main reason I am applying to transfer is that I believe that a business background from Wharton, combined with a creative base from fine arts would enable me to pursue my dream of starting up my own brand. Growing up in a business-oriented family, I used to hear inspiring entrepreneurial stories from my parents who started up their own business 20 years together in my hometown, Shenzhen. Beginning from a young age, I have always been eager to create my
My goal is to be a High School Special Education teacher and teach dance in the afternoon and evening. This January I started attending Brigham Young University-Idaho with a double major of Child Development and Dance. I chose to be a Special Education teacher to improve the lives of these students and teach them they have an essential part and purpose in the world. I love working with these special individuals and had the unbelievable opportunity to secure an internship with the Miss Amazing California State Pageant. The experience is one I will never forget and I hope to one day become a pageant director for their organization. As my future second job, I intend to be a dance teacher and choreographer. Dance is an enormous passion of mine
I fully enjoy mathematics and the elegance and logic of the subject is the reason for my desire to study it at a more advanced level. The formulae and the theorems all fascinate me and I love the challenge of problem solving that mathematics provides, especially demanding, non-standard problems that require a substantial amount of thought and ability. In this respect, STEP papers have provided me with a great number of intellectually stimulating problems that I have taken great pleasure in attempting. As such, I believe a mathematics degree, whilst being engaging and inspiring, would also give me a good platform to achieve my long-term ambition to work towards a doctorate in mathematics. Pure mathematics is my favourite amongst further pure
One of the most important days of my life happened in May 2017. This was the day that I graduated from college. This day was and is amazing to me because I am the first person in my immediate family to go to college and actually finish. The joy on my family’s face when I walked across that stage, made my heart glad. When I completed high school I took the, what I would call, easy route and went to Cosmetology school.
As a junior at National Economics University pursuing an Advanced Educational Program with major in Auditing, I am enthusiastically seeking a special opportunity like Pathway to Success Competition, in which I can learn as much as possible while making a real contribution. I believe that my qualifications and skills combine to create an excellent match for the scholarship. My academic and current part-time job experience have greatly increased both my knowledge and passion for the future career. My education program which was based on U.S accounting standard helps me to approach a lot of specialized subjects in English and open my mind with a new standard.
I am currently an international applicant who would like to declare as a psychology student. To broaden my horizon and to be clear about what kind of institute suits me better, I have been to different universities for the summer session; not only for the credits but to get a better view of what area I am interested in. I have chosen social psychology and what made me grow fond of it was the humorous tone of the professor, and experience that he had throughout his research and career in daily life. It has also consolidated my confidence to be a social worker. There is a world outside Dean College, my current institute and I am hoping to experience something great and remarkable as a transfer to a bigger college.
I hope that in the future I will be able to continue helping my community, but also help those in the worst conditions imaginable. By doing this I will become more cultured and will experience firsthand some of the situations that need more awareness raised. I also feel that with my musical background I will be able to spread the joy of music and teach others how to experience it
I have participated in show choir, choir, and theatre for many years, as I love performing. I also participate in speech team, which is what made me interested in communication disorders. I would like to either become an audiologist or a speech pathologist, as I love working with people and doing work that helps others. I have been on many mission trips and service projects, including a mission trip to experience homelessness in Minnesota, a mission trip to build houses on a Native American reservation in Montana, and I participate in Discipleship team at my youth group, which is a group of teenagers that lead youth group as well as serve in service projects and
My goals for when I graduate, would have to be to continue in the subjects that I feel more satisfied doing in a career or job establishments for my convenience because I know that I want to be doing something that I like to do. One of them is to learn how to fly; I felt that flying is a very important necessity in life. Art all kinds are just amazing I love to paint, sing, pictures, design, dance and poetry and I know that if I practice more and have a reason for my commitment I am more than glad to put in the work and concentration my one hundred percent. Furthermore if things don’t turn out the way I planned, I will apply in stores like Walmart, Stater bros, Ralphs, CVS, Cheese cake and the list can go on except fast food establishments
I might become a singer/songwriter or I could become a professional dancer. I would like to go dance as backup for all the big artists there are today I think that would be very fun because dancing is very fun to me as well as singing. If I don’t stay in Florida, I don’t know exactly what college I am going to attend but I would like my life to be filled with adventure and lots of fun. After I graduate or have my career, another thing I would like to do would be to travel everywhere, I would love to travel to different places and learn new things. I might also consider having a job that involves traveling. One job that might help me with that would be a pharmaceutical REP. I know that they get to travel to different places and different doctors’ offices to sell medicine or pharmaceuticals. Depending on what choose to do would depend on the college that I go to but I will always try to get more than a bachelor so I could be more successful in job findings. After I graduate college I will find a place to work and pursue my career. Eventually I might end up moving to different places around the world and I will always take care of my family
Once I graduate college, I plan to be a music director and teacher. Specifically, a high school band teacher. Music is everything to me and I want to be able to teach the next generation why music is so special, and to have them appreciate any musical talents that each kid possesses. I am going to talk about what a music director job entitles, education needed to be one, their salary, additional education, job availability, any technology skills and tools used in the job, and what the future beholds for my job opportunities.
