One of the things was that Cassie had to realize when she got into a fight with Lillian Jean is that not everyone was treated the same. She also had to learn when to stand and fight or to not let something bother her. Cassie also had to be smart enough to get revenge on Lillian Jean. From the brawl with Lillian Jean, Cassie had to learn to grow up and handle situations. The issues with the Jefferson Davis School Bus made Cassie and Stacey grow up because they had to deal with it on their own so that no one would know that they did it.
