In the book to kill a mockingbird Atticus seams like a boring old man to his kids scout and jem. He's appears to be a typical lawyer. He reads a lot and does his job. But there is a side of him his kids haven't seen yet. They think that there father is boring because he won't play football with them. Another reason that they think that he's boring is that the only thing he does with them is read. "He did not do the things or schoolmates fathers did, never went hunting, did not play poker, or fish or drink or smoke. He sat in the living room and read".
