Most of the world’s population has agreed that global warming is real, and the major culprit in this crime is humans. Yet there are some exceptions who consider global warming a myth, some have argued that there has been a reduction in the rising of the global temperature, consequently causing civilians to refute the idea of the earth “warming”. This false information has led to little or no coverage about this issue; subsequently producing little or no solutions to this problem ravaging the place we call home. Among the major effects of global warming are the acidification of the ocean, the increase in drought and heatwaves, and the warming of the ocean.

Climate change is happening, like it or not and is affecting the world. Higher percentages of carbon dioxide(CO2) in the atmosphere is increasing due to human activities, greenhouse gases(GHG) and global warming have shown to have caused negative impacts on the environment and the world we live in. There are many causes of climate change, which cannot be entirely rid of. However, by taking steps in carbon emission industries, it can ensure a reduction of CO2 and greenhouse gasses.

The rise of global temperatures affect sea levels, the habitats of millions of animals, and most importantly human life. As evidence becomes clearer about global warming, the concern shown by scientists, politicians, and the citizens of the world is moreover increasing. Global Warming is a phenomenon that is real and noticeable. Without proper initiatives and procedures, the generations that follow are going to have a tremendous burden.

Climate change can affect plants and animals that live in a delicate environment. Climate change affects populations of plants and animals in random ways. These changes in plant and animal habitat could affect migration patterns (Cohn 2). Plants will be more affected by a change in scenery more than animals because plants depend on the right temperature and rainfall in order to stay alive. Another reason that plants will be affected more is that plants stay in one place and animals can move if the habitat is hazardous to their health (Cohn 2). Comparing the present and expected future range of the species is one way to examine the consequences of climate change. Margaret Davis is an American palynologist and paleoecologist who received a B.A from Radcliffe College, Ph.D. in biology from Harvard University and an honorary M.S from Yale University. Global warming is the increase in temperature of the ocean process and the earth's atmosphere, caused by the massive emission that makes the greenhouse effect. It originated from a series of human activities, especially the burning of fuels and changes in land use, such as deforestation. It is increasingly evident that humans have caused most of the warming, through the emission of gases that retain heat, to potentiate our modern life. These causes are a product of economic growth and the use of technologies. How are we going to cope with the changes we have already put in place? While we try to understand it, the face of the earth and as we know it, its coasts, forests and snowy mountains are in suspense.

Despite this shocking information, the scientific community around the world are not focus only on a future lack of resources, but also with the possible cause and effects of climate change. Both topics are directly related with the future of human life. Since people need the nature to provide them food, fresh water and material to produce their daily thing, the lack of resources is a reality. In addition, according to the article “The Consequences of Climate Change” published by NASA scientists had predicted loos of sea ice, accelerated sea level rise and longer, more intense heat waves as some the effects of climate change by 2100 (NASA, n.d.). Thus, it is clear that there is an agreement that both issues will seriously affect the future of humanity. However, the scientific community has doubts about which of these themes is crucial for the survival of human beings. Taking into account how quickly the natural resources have been consumed, the effects will be felt earlier than the climate change outcomes.

Climate change has growing negative effects in the environment and in many societies. Climate change affects everyone from any race, nationality, gender, and religion. However, many of the victims of the fast-changing climate are the people or nations who have least contributed to its fast speed. Climate naturally changes on earth and it’s been happening for centuries, however due to human activities, the pace of climate change became faster. This caused problematic effects like pollution and more environmental disasters which resulted to people losing lives. This showed the importance to address the fast-changing climate due to anthropogenic actions. This is the reason why international efforts to slow down climate change were created.

The concern for environmental health has grabbed the attention of people around the world and called for stricter regulations on gas emissions and pollution, but has also driven a wedge between populations. Climate change is an issue wrapped in political controversy and studied on a geographical level. Looking at how groups view and understand the research and concept behind this issue will help one better understand the environmental effects humans have on the world.

Usually people pay attention on daily weather changes and how the weather will be through the week or the month, but do we pay attention on climate change how it affects our lives. Did we ask ourselves what are the causes of climate change? How climate change impacts our activities? Can we do something to solve this big issue before to turn to a big disaster? These questions make me think deeply how we work to solve this problem because the earth is the only place so far we can live on it. Climate change has become a worldwide problem and this issue affects human lives, environment, social and economic. The change in climate has serious impacts on our natural ecosystem and as human we should face it before causing great catastrophe such as water availability, agriculture, rising sea levels and health. Many studies recognize that sign of change is increasing in average temperatures, snow and rainfall, patterns are shifting, and extreme climate events are becoming more common in our days. These changes are expected to grow if we don’t solve the issues or the causes of climate change.

Extreme weather can be described by patterns that are unusual, unpredictable and unanticipated. Severe extensive change in the pattern of weather is something that is linked to the increase of the average global temperature. The warming of the earth has triggered several changes to the world’s climate leading to numerous events taking place that were previously unheard of or took place in small magnitudes and frequencies. Due to irresponsible human behaviors, rising temperatures will create weather events on a larger scale and with greater frequency than our planet has ever experienced before.

It was found that human activities had the potential to drastically alter the climate. The term climate change replaced climatic change as the dominant term to reflect an anthropogenic cause. Certain human activities have been identified as primary causes of ongoing climate change. The term climate change has become directly related with anthropogenic global warming. Global warming refers to surface temperature increases while climate change includes global warming and everything else connected with increasing greenhouse gas levels (NASA: Evidence). Climate change refers to a change in average weather conditions, or in the time variation of weather depending on the conditions.

We have inhabited the earth for thousands of years, constantly moving around and changing the landscape of our planet. But the main problem caused by our interference in nature is climate change. Even though Planet earth is always changing, from Pangaea to the Great Yellowstone Thaw. Climate change just might be the way earth is ever changing, but Humans are believed to be the main cause of climate change mainly because Science proves that it is caused by carbon emissions from the cars we drive.

Not only is climate change affecting people in the United States such as those who live on the East coast and are more prone to intense weather like storms or hurricanes, but it is also affecting various types of animals, such as polar bears. These issues will be further discussed. Regions all over the world, are experiencing climate change, because temperatures are fluctuating and in many regions, becoming warmer than intended. Climate change affects many organisms, and most of the effects of climate change are negative impacts on their life, or even destruction to their habitat.
