Global warming is not a topic to take so lightly as many people make it seem. Global warming disrupts the life of humans, animals and mother nature very drastically even if we do not see it with our own eyes. It is an increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere caused by the high levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. The rising temperature is melting glaciers and rising sea levels. Global warming is disrupting many habitats drastically throughout the world. Unfortunately our president Donald Trump is not willing to take actions to help slow down global warming. Global warming is already affecting our pockets, it is costing us millions in natural disasters caused by the rising temperatures. Global warming is also starting to affect the health of humans throughout the world but in some places way more. There are very big multi million companies that let out greenhouse gases that affect the atmosphere. If global warming does not start slowing down then there will be major consequences for everyone in the world. There are some ways to prevent or slow down global warming that people can do from their homes. After analyzing various sources like ¨Global warming 101¨ by Amanda MacMillan, “The Impacts of Climate Change on Human Health” by the U.S, global change research program and ”Global Warming In An Unequal World” by Anil Agarwal ,global warming is definitely not a hoax.

The rising temperatures due to global
Global Warming is one of the biggest hoaxes in the modern day, and there are a lot of reasons why. There is actually no real scientific proof that the warming occurring is from the rise of greenhouse gases from human activity (Tesla). The warmer periods in Earth started 800 years before rises in CO2 levels in the atmosphere (Tesla). The Earth has always had significant changes in climate throughout geological time (Tesla). Another reason is that arctic ice has increased by 50% since 2012 (Conserve Energy Future). The reasons that Global warming is flawed are that the warmer periods in Earth started 800 years before the rises of CO2 levels in the atmosphere (Tesla), The Earth has always had significant changes
Global warming has been an on-going issue for many decades. Most people would argue that it is a hoax; while others argue it is true. Climate change can cause a domino effect of catastrophes throughout the world. Once it affects one group, then that affected group will affect another, and so on and so forth; like a plague. Global warming is an authentic problem and we need to find more efficient ways to eliminate it, or at least contain it.
Many people believe that global warming is a hoax, whereas others claim global warming is a real phenomenon. Global warming is an increase in temperature on our planet Earth, in the water and on land. We are experiencing an increase of temperature as a result of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere because of human activities. Scientific research is proving that since the Industrial Revolution began, human activities have significantly increased the greenhouse effect. Because of these relatively recent industrialized human activities, the greenhouse gasses are being added to our atmosphere at a faster rate than earth’s natural occurring process. Ice sheets are melting in the Arctic oceans because the ocean water is getting warmer. Our planet is facing consequences from this climate change due to Arctic sea ice loss, deforestation, and stronger hurricanes and cyclones.
Climate change is both natural and anthropogenic. The change has another name such as hominoid prompt and convince the change of the climate. Climate change because of the indemnification of gases in green house. A small minority of scientists reject the finding of and propose that global warming is driven by the sun. There is different type of gases such as methane carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide that move into the air. When the change of the atmosphere which is the air the next thing we have to look at is property which is land and how it effects and change it dynamic. global warming is caused by the enhanced greenhouse effect. The only external source of energy available to earth is the sun. The change come when trees are cut down, slice or cut back this will remove a lot of the earthworks for it to become whole and to heal from the inside. I understand that the increase of green gases causes short wavelength energy that has been pull from the sun and it is attract by our amazing earth. The greenhouse also brings warmth to trees and plants for growth and that how energy is absorbed. Energy that has a long wavelength are not able to breakout effortlessly.
Climate change and the impact it will have on the Earth are a real and increasing cause of concern. Rising sea levels and sea temperatures, increases in the frequency of extreme weather events and increased acidity in the ocean are some of the things that will have a devastating impact on human agriculture. Unless something is done to change these things, lesser developed countries; many and most of which are majority Islamic, will face food shortages, disease and famine, resulting in people displacement, mass refugees and death. Islam is practised worldwide, majority of those countries where the Islamic faith is practised, are poorly developed countries.
According to Robert Frost once said, “ Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire.” This quotation can link to the concept of global warming. Global warming can be interpreted as an increase in the earth's average atmospheric temperature that induces corresponding changes in climate, and that may be associated with the greenhouse effect. I chose to do my cause and effect essay on global warming because I believe it has a significant impact on humans, not only today but especially in the future.
Climate change can affect plants and animals that live in a delicate environment. Climate change affects populations of plants and animals in random ways. These changes in plant and animal habitat could affect migration patterns (Cohn 2). Plants will be more affected by a change in scenery more than animals because plants depend on the right temperature and rainfall in order to stay alive. Another reason that plants will be affected more is that plants stay in one place and animals can move if the habitat is hazardous to their health (Cohn 2). Comparing the present and expected future range of the species is one way to examine the consequences of climate change. Margaret Davis is an American palynologist and paleoecologist who received a B.A from Radcliffe College, Ph.D. in biology from Harvard University and an honorary M.S from Yale University. She served as president of the Ecological Society of America and the American Quaternary Association and as chair of the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior at the University of Minnesota. She was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1982. Davis used computer models to estimate a change in range of beech, yellow birch, hemlock, and sugar maple trees (Cohn 2). The results that Davis found are that the four species of trees would have to move 500 kilometers to sustain the same habitat to remain in order to stay healthy. The beech forests which thrive in southeastern United States would cease to exist (Cohn
"The amount of heat accumulating on Earth because of human emissions is roughly equivalent the heat released by 400,000 Hiroshima bombs exploding around the world every day," (FactRetriever). The heat is a direct effect from global warming which is becoming more and more relevant in today's societies. There are a number of effects due to the one major cause of global warming, which is greenhouse emission, and those are: increased temperature, melting ice sheets, rising sea levels, increased power of hurricanes due to acidic oceans and surface temperature, and finally, air pollution which increases death rates globally. The quantity of greenhouse emissions in the atmosphere is intensifying due to human activities that burn fossil fuels which in turn is increasing the temperature on earth, causing the oceans to become acidic, and increasing the effects of air pollution.
Climate change is when a change in the weather patterns takes place and last for an extended period of time, unfortunately the people that are poor are typically the ones effected the most by climate change because they tend to live in warmer climates that are more susceptible to climate change. "People who are socially, economically, culturally, politically, institutionally or otherwise marginalized are especially vulnerable to climate change," (Goldenberg, 2014) Since climate change is warming the earth, the countries that were already warm to start with, like places near the equator, are getting even warmer. This leads to multiple natural disasters, reoccurring droughts and frequent health risks. Additionally, it has also been proven that the people that are living in these poorer countries are the ones that are contributing the least to climate change, however, they are being effected the most by it. This is very unfair and a vicious cycle, as the people that are contributing the most to climate change are hardly being affected by it and therefore, continue to do it because it is not harming their way of life. Overall, climate change is the change in weather patterns and typically makes our climate warmer which effects poor people the most because they live in warmer climates which causes more natural disasters, health risks, and droughts.
Global warming is a very serious issue that has been brought attention to many times. Global warming has been taking place in our world over decades now and its only getting worse. If the global warming does not stop, we will lose our plants, animals and will be more likely to get foreign diseases. . In my opinion, global warming is occurring due to the lack of human beings not taking care of mother nature. Global warming can be stopped but many will have to chip-in effort to change the climate, which will require great amount of patience and a change of daily life usage accessories that human beings use. It is our responsibility as human beings to make sure that one and only planet known to human kind, does not give up on us and that can only happen; if we all take a step towards a change.
Climate change is an issue that is becoming more and more evident in today’s society. “Climate change is a variation in the unusual weather found in a place.’’ According to NASA researchers; People who study earth have noticed the Earth is getting warmer. “Earth’s temperature has increased by 1 degree Fahrenheit in the last one hundred years. This may not seem like much, but small changes in the Earth’s temperature can have big effects.” (NASA). After many researches, scientist have come to believe there will be more snow and ice to melt and the ocean level will rise, get hotter, and other places will have colder winters with a lot of snow while other places have more rain than others. For example, Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida. This climate change will have a significant impact on the environment, biodiversity, and on human health.
Global warming has become a very popular issue in the last 20 years, as a result of the causes it gives to our magnificent earth, as well as different species on this earth. Global warming as of told by ‘The Discovery of Global Warming’, started in the year of 1870, during the Second Industrial Revolution were fertilizer, chemicals, electricity and public health further accelerated in growth. After the start of cause of global warming more tiny problems arose when in the years of 1920-1925 the opening of Texas and Persian Gulf oil fields inaugurates the era of cheap energy. (The Discovey of Global Warming, 2017). Even though this cheap energy might be easy and faster to get a hold of, it causes more earthquakes. This is because oil ridges have to use methods such as drilling and fracking to get to this cheap energy which makes the earth’s crust weaker creating earthquakes (MNN - Mother Nature Network, 2017). During the year 1958, telescopes study a greenhouse effect raises temperature of the atmosphere of Venus far above boiling point. Cesare Emiliani, a geology student from Italy, who attended the University of Chicago measured oxygen isotopes in the microscopic shells of foraminifera, a kind of ocean plankton. Tracking the shell layer by layer in long cores of lay extracted from the seabed, he found a record of temperature variations. Emiliani’s 1955 paper, provided the world’s highest quality record of ice age temperatures (The Discovey of Global Warming, 2017). 1987 was
The Earth’s temperature is rising, the oceans are warming, glaciers are retreating and because of this, our sea level is rising and more (Climate Change Evidence). The climate changing has the potential to completely damage our world. Animals, plants, ecosystems and our health will all be affected. Changing weather patterns are already wreaking havoc in coastal areas and areas prone to flooding. While other areas are experiencing droughts and wildfires (The Threats of Climate Change). Human activity on Earth is to blame. We are causing a “greenhouse effect.” Burning fossil fuels, coal, oil, driving cars and more are attributing to this (Climate Change Causes). Yet, with all this evidence in hand, climate change is still a hotly debated topic in our society. However, a study in 2010 found that 97-98% of climate researchers that are most active in their field all agree that human activity is the primary culprit for global climate change. This same study also found that the proficiency of researchers that do not believe humans have caused climate change is "substantially below" that of researchers who believe that humans have caused the climate to change (Climate Change Procon.org). Instead of increasing funding to research, or putting forth funds to establish clean energy, our President, Donald Trump, has slashed the budget of the Environmental Protection Agency. He cut 80 million dollars from them (Mundahl). May Boeve, executive director of the environmental group 350.org,
For the past 2.5 million years, the earth's climate has oscillated from ice age to warmer periods. In the last almost century the planet's temperature has ascended shockingly fast. Scientist believe it is humans causing this rise in temperature through a term called global warming. Global warming is a term connected to the notion that there is a progressing increase in total temperature of the earth's atmosphere because of the rising levels of carbon dioxide and many other pollutants. This problem has become increasingly noticeable in recent years. Global warming is at an all time high and as time goes on, this problem can only get worse. The issue not only affects our temperatures, but it is impacting our ecosystems and also resulting in sea levels to rise. This report aims to show the explanation of global warming and address the major causes and effects of this natural occurrence.
While the media discusses global warming often, some are still oblivious to what it is. A general definition of global warming is “(an) Increase in the average surface and ocean temperature of the earth since 1850 and the projected persistence of the trend (Lane).” Basically, it means the Earth’s temperature is rising each year. The belief is that the greenhouse effect causes the rise in global warming. The greenhouse effect is “Natural process of atmospheric warming in which solar energy absorbed by the earth’s surface is reradiated and absorbed by certain atmospheric gases, primarily carbon dioxide and water vapor,” (Boorstein). This simply means the Earth’s gases trap the sun’s radiation on Earth, which would cause a rise in the temperature. The contributing factors that raise these gases are many.
