The game will be held at Elk Mound and will also be senior night. The team has 12 seniors who will be playing. The Mounders faced two very good opponents in the first two games. On Sunday May 15, 2016, The Stanford Cardinals suffered a major loss to the Washington Huskies. The Cardinals finish 13-35, but 0-24 in the PAC 12. The seniors had four runs all together but it wasn't enough. The defense was lacking having sophomore Hayley Snyder being pulled from the game. She was pulled because by the second inning, there have been five runs. Snyder was replaced with freshman Caroline Lee. Offensive wise, they were lacking but had no trouble getting on to the bases. The trouble was, no one seemed to get on homebase. The Cardinals catchers, Jessica Palaz led the team, and it was her game with Stanford. Her career record was the highest with 4 RBI’s in her senior year. The Cardinals were up by four in the bottom on the fourth,

Implementing the new logo on team players uniforms is another promotion strategy to bring awareness, the more the logo is seen the more curiosity it brings. Awareness is crucial and the opportunity to do so is for the directors or members of Lone Star Play Ball to participate in walks around the city. Participating in walks offered by other non-profit organizations such as Autism Walks, and the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk are important. These walks target children and adults with disabilities, which is the same audience targeted by Lone Star Southwest. Becoming involved, and building relationships with other non-profit organizations, related to disabilities, builds partnerships. These partnerships can work as mutual cheerleaders and help promote

This year, they made a more conscious effort to raise awareness and funds for the hardworking organizations and people in Central New York. Little League Awareness Day was one of the first events to show their appreciation for kids who are involved in Little League and look up to the Chiefs as role models. Over 3,000 Little Leaguers and their families from all around Central New York attended that evening. Another event the Chiefs hosted was sponsored through Upstate Hospital called Strike Out Stroke Night. This event was an effort to raise awareness of stroke warning signs and how to respond F.A.S.T. so that someone can receive treatment as quick as possible. Cancer Awareness Day was another event where the players wore purple jerseys featuring 100 submitted names of loved ones who had been affected by cancer. The jerseys were then auctioned off after the
Waycross Middle School offers many unique activities, sports, and clubs. For example, there is one club that I’m in that’s called crazy science. In this club, we perform different science experiments that are really amazing and are actually pretty “crazy”. One time, we did an experiment where we got to see what happened when you microwave a bar of Ivory soap! Another time, we did an experiment called elephant toothpaste. What we did was that you fill a skinny bottle or tube with hydrogen peroxide and a little bit of food coloring. Then you pour a special substance in to get a really colorful foam burst out of the tube like a volcano! It was a really fun experience! In conclusion, I think this is a fun club that gets kids to have a chance to
In the coming year I want to promote FFA even more then I have before. I want to bring kids along when we work on the LLL and invite them to meetings. My experiences and knowledge about FFA prepare me to promote FFA to any prospective members.
ChildSafe would like to invite the Clark Key Club to help raise awareness of abuse and neglect by volunteering at local malls distributing

I came towards the end of their summer program so classes had pretty much been wrapped up and we just played games from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This specific location has about 200 participants ranging in age from 6 to 15. I was extremely intimidated walking into a room full of so many hyper kids, but quickly learned to embrace them for who they are. Each child had a different story, and while I wasn’t able to interact with every single one, there are a few that stuck out to me.
My wife Megan Castillo will be the team mom. She will be crating a snack schedule once the game schedule comes out. All players will need to bring a snack and drink for the players at least once, when the games begin. Once the games schedule is out it will also be emailed to you. Towards the end if the season she will also coordinate an end of the season party for the children.
