Dear Ally and members of Delta Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, The Fraternity does not take cultural insensitivity lightly, and I want to apologize for the misstep taken during the program presented to you by one of the Every Member Education Trainers. The last thing we want to have happen is to have our collegiate members feel upset over any programs presented. This could have opened dialogue about a subject that is relevant to all of us. It is disappointing that this opportunity was missed. I admire your graciousness in accepting the apology letter from Allison and realization that we are volunteers and make mistakes along the way. The Director of Education and Training is going to perform an audit of the remaining visits scheduled
From a time when achievement was rare, and succeeding among minority was minuscule, a sense of order was needed. During this time Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated came into the world, bringing core values and achievement. Within the five objectives Kappa Alpha Psi showcases the distinction of itself from other fraternities. The founding fathers had the desire to shape a unique group personality different from the other greek letter college organizations, around the idea of achievement. When achievement was mainly concerned with improvement of personal status, security, and meeting the demands of everyday living the founders of the fraternity envisioned something bigger. Thus bringing about the Five Objectives that men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated live by and exemplify on a day to day basis showcasing Achievement in every field of human endeavor.
I am writing this letter to express to you my truly and most humble apologies for what happened on April 5th. I also am going to explain to you how it was wrong and what i will do in the future to meet you expectations of your classroom.
In the 1900s, segregation and male dominance were a big part of American Society. African American women were often underestimated as well as neglected of their respect and authority. Ethel Hedgeman, who was a student at Howard University, believed that it was essential to create an organization for a group of women who were willing to use their talents and strengths for the benefit of others, but at the same time learn to value and respect themselves. She envisioned that this group would focus on interaction, encouragement, and ethical growth between the members, and that is exactly what Alpha Kappa Alpha has done ever since she created it. In 1908, AKA also known as the sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, the first African American sorority was created. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha communicate and express their common ideas and goals in their own unique ways.
As a member of Phi Theta Epsilon, I will continue to pursue my occupational therapy degree in the presence of other highly motivated students that share the same values and the same desire to contribute to the continued growth and promotion of our profession. I will continue to seek the knowledge and experience necessary for me to become the best occupational therapist that I can be for my future clients with the support of Phi Theta Epsilon. I will demonstrate continued academic excellence and professionalism through my role in positively representing occupational therapy at Alvernia. I am excited for the opportunity to represent occupational therapy not only here at Alvernia, but also within the larger community as well.
“Additionally, issues of identity and values are important factors in neophytes ' abilities and willingness to learn to write in and for new workplaces, as they must choose between ways of thinking and writing with which they are comfortable and new ways that seem foreign or at odds with their identities and values” (Wardle 285) When I was first accepted into The University of Arkansas, the first thing that came to my mind was to put effort into my grades and into building my resume. Those would be my top priories. Before I knew it I had been accepted into a discourse community of members that were striving for the same ideals that I was-The Greek fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha. Through the proses of being an initiate, I learned life long core values of community between other members. Interviewing the president of Lambda Chi Alpha, Luke Crenshaw, I uncovered the rigorous involvement of academic writing skills and how that plays a giant roll in this discourse community. These benefits are included in the values and beliefs of a discourse community.

FAfter my resignation, I moved to Morenci, AZ where my spouse had started a job 6 months prior. I started on my Associate in Business administration at EAC in Fall of 2013. There were some courses that were difficult, but managed to pull through. I was surprised when I was selected to join the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at EAC. I graduated in May of 2015.
About 60 of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s new members were inducted into the organization in a ceremony on April 1.
A wholesome diet fuels the brain. Your brain is responsible for cognitive function and thusly learning. Therefore, a wholesome diet is essential to learning efficiently. I am writing this letter to express my sincere apology for what occurred in your class on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. My decisions were extremely poor and resulted in a unnecessary waste of time for you and I as well as the rest of the class. I may have not felt this way at first, but after having some time to think I now realize how disrespectful, rude, and pointless my actions were as well as how lucky I actually am to get off fairly easy.
Marist College has a beautiful campus with an excellent communications program. If I were to change my major it is helpful that Marist has a wide variety of majors to choose from. I love schools that are not to big and not to small, which is the feeling I get with Marist. Small class sizes allow me to engage more in the class with resourceful and knowledgable professors who I know are motivated to help me as a student. Marist has a fantastic study abroad program, I always wanted to study abroad in Italy and because of Marist's other campus in Florence, I feel that it would be a great experience for me. Especially because I am Italian and am learning the language it would be unbelievable. If I were to describe Marist in one word it would be
I apologized to the students because I had been outside the door waiting. My concern with this is that you proceed to state that “Cornerstone RFC 101 regularly states late because the presenter(s) are often not there on time.” This is an untrue statement I am always at TOP by 9:35 most days earlier with time to grab Starbucks and eat as your TOP guides present. We sit in the same location and help direct lost students to the registration tables as they are often confused how far to go around from the parent's registration table. We have had the conversation with Student Activities staff, Career Services, and ISEC as we wait for the TOP guides to end their presentations. I am offended that you have questioned my professional integrity by stating in your email “I have no reason to believe that the TOP Guides are being untruthful with me, as there is no reason for them to lie about it.” As to suggest I have a reason to lie about being on time to provide valuable information to the students in my programs. I have presented several presentations for you on diversity for Head for the Hill and not once have I been late. However, presentations have been missing that were sent and technology not working. I have worked on the behalf of Admissions to make sure things worked for my presentation as well as those that followed.
