There are people who think those police officers should wear their body cameras. Police officers need to wear their body camera for protection. People who are for it want the best for police officers. They do not want to see the officers suffering from rumors. For instance, a police officer could be in a situation that he or she has to excessive force on the suspect.

To start off, police officers should be required to wear body cameras because it will reduce dishonesty on incident reports. For example, the footage of a body camera could reveal the misconduct of what actions the officer committed and officers would look foolish if they decided to file dishonest reports on the incident.
