Kill the Babies
There is a growing debate on whether abortion should be banned from being used. There is an argument going on between the political parties in office. The Democrats seem to agree that abortion should be used if needed. The Republican party seem to completely disagree with Democrats, they say that abortion should be banned from being used in America. This problem seems to affect women the most because, they feel that they should have the right to decide if they want to have the child or not.
Today this debate continues to happen and has no signs of letting up. Some might say that abortion is horrible but, it has many benefits. One benefit of abortion is that the parent of the child will not have to raise an unwanted baby.

They believe that the child should not have to suffer for what the parents have done. In the Article Thought.Co Linda Lowen states that “Abortion frequently causes intense psychological pain and stress.” Another argument people have is that tax payers who don’t believe in abortions are paying for it. These people believe that they should have abortions abolished all together. According to the New York Times there is an article by the editorial board about an immigrant women who wanted to have an abortion because, he felt it was her natural right. The trump administration tried everything in their power to try and stop her from having the abortion. The immigrant teenager demanded she have a trail to have an abortion. When the court received the case in just a matter of hours the court gave you young girl the permission to see a doctor to get an abortion without her mother’s consent. The Trump administration was angered about the verdict that the court came to but they still continue to fight against abortion in America today. The abortion right should not be taken for granted because, it is not a birth control pill (contraceptive) it should be used only for emergencies and only when needed the most.
One benefit of abortion is that the parent of the child will not have to raise an unwanted baby. If the parent of the child had an abortion the parent would not have to raise a child that they did not want, and a child would not have to
There is only one reason where abortion could be a good thing. In cases of rape and incest, abortion should be allowed. Being forced in to having sex with a stranger or even a relative should not force the women to carry a baby against her
Abortion has a lot of risks for the women such as perforation of the uterus, infection, and damge to other organs. Making greater prevention in this regard would make people aware that even though abortion is legal it is not trivial. A woman who has an abortion has more chances of becoming sterile, having a miscarriage or give birth to
Abortion is a very controversial subject that has been continually argued over for the past few years and probably many years to come. The main controversy is should abortion be legalized? Abortion is the destruction of the fetus or unborn child while the child is still in the mothers womb. This can be done by almost anyone from the mother herself to back alley abortions and even to abortions by clinics set up especially for this purpose. There are two sides to this abortion topic the PRO-LIFE which is those who are against abortion and the PRO-CHOICE or those who believe it is the woman''s right to choose if she wants to have an abortion. These two groups offer different solutions to problem. The pro-life solution is to have the child
Abortion is a conversational act that no one can seem to agree upon the long going argument dates to 1973 when “US Supreme Court’s 7-2 decision on Roe v. Wade declared the procedure a "fundamental right" (procon.org). Across America, the topic of abortion is still something that is regarded as taboo to speak about. Even today where it is more commonly brought up, the stigma surrounding the medical procedure has not gone away. There’s a rift between those who are pro-life and pro-choice, and each group has their own reasoning why or why not abortion should or should not be criminalized. The controversy about abortion is mainly rooted in the pro-life group believing that a fetus has the same rights as a born child and the mother. This stems into our government as well, where we have staunch republicans and democrats arguing back and forth over abortion. This also includes people who are incredibly religious and believe that it would go against Gods wishes, as humans are made in his image. Those who are pro-choice believe safe, legal abortions are a right and should be a readily available option to any woman who chooses to have one, no matter the circumstance. Abortion should be an option and that it should be a woman’s right whether to get one, and that she should be the only one to make that decision, not the government. There are many reasons why abortions should be an option, and some of those reasons are that they would help end surprise and unwanted pregnancy, end
The topic of abortion and its legality is one that is strongly felt on both sides of the issue. This is one of the most heated arguments you can get into and if I am being fully honest I am a little nervous about publicizing my view point. But here is my research and arguments for whether abortion should be legal or not.
There are more health risks while having an abortion than giving birth. Not only does every abortion kill an innocent human being in the womb; but abortion is also more hazardous to the mother than if she were to give birth to the child. The evidence overwhelmingly proves that the morbidity and morality rates of legal abortions are several times higher than someone carrying a pregnancy to term
Many people think of abortion as murder and that killing an innocent, unborn human being is wrong. Abortion is a fundamental right and a right of privacy for a woman. She should be able to make a decision of whether or not she has the child. If a woman doesn’t want to have a child and has no choice but to have it, then that child is more likely to be given up for adoption or even neglected or abused. Unexpected pregnancies can lead to birth defects, depression for the mother (which can affect the baby) and reduced amounts of breastfeeding.
How does a child enter this world? Well, answers can vary. Most of the time, the child is born into a loving home that has anticipated his or her arrival for months. Other times, a child may be born into a loosely structured family that has no idea how to raise it. In more rare cases, a baby could be born into a dangerous environment; especially if it was conceived by rape or by people engaging in an abusive relationship. People cringe when they hear of a child being abused or neglected, but they never ask themselves how all of that suffering could have been avoided. Although some people may not agree, availability of abortion exercises women 's rights, saves children from a life of foster care or orphanages, and from unfit parents.
Abortion is a good thing for younger kids and or adults if they do not want to keep the child. Abortion Causes lots of debates. If someone gets pregnant at a young age they might not want to keep the baby. Maybe they don't have enough money to take care of the kids for eighteen or more years. This is why abortion should be legal in all states.
People fight against each other to prove that abortion is bad or good. Abortion has many pros and cons that deserve to be properly discussed before people make a decision in support or opposition. That being said, there are many laws governing the legality of this issue. “While in as much as 30 countries, abortion is legalized, remaining countries have partial restrictions or complete ban on abortion, unless life of the mother is at stake.” (Jason Ladock) It is interesting to learn the pros and cons of abortion as it offers us a great insight about this issue.
I will begin by arguing that abortion can have the best overall consequence when a mother and a child’s future is uncertain. A child shouldn’t be put through a rough childhood if the mother is aware of harsh living conditions or not being able to physically, mentally or economically support a child. For instance, if a woman was raped, the mother would be unable to raise a child because of the emotional pain caused by the rape, and the child would just be a constant reminder of what happened which can lead to abuse of the child. Or let us say that the woman is in an abusive relationship with
While the right view abortion as morally wrong many of their views are critically flawed and over look the practical and beneficial effects on society legal abortion posses, such as; reduces crime, reduces death preformed form abortions, and decline in divorce
Abortion has been one of the biggest controversial topics of all time. There are two strong sides of abortion; pro-choice and pro-life; those who advocate legalized abortion and those who oppose abortion. There are many circumstances where, when, and why a woman would want to obtain an abortion, for example, unintentionally becoming pregnant, becoming pregnant at a young age, and rape. In 1973, abortion was legalized in the United States via the famous court case of Roe vs Wade. Abortion should remain legal so women have the right to choice whether or not to have an abortion.
Abortion allows people to kill babies still within their stomachs, who have not lived to do any wrong. There are people who stick up for those who do not have a voice to stick up for themselves, they are called pro-life believers. After getting pregnant, that person is a parent and responsible for another person's life. Ultrasounds show that after only six weeks the doctor can hear the baby's heartbeat, at 11 weeks the baby has functioning organs, in an abortion a baby can feel pain after 14 weeks, moreover after twenty weeks a baby can recognize their mother's voice. About 211 million woman get pregnant every year and of those pregnancies, 46 million babies are aborted.
Legalization of abortion has been beneficial to children by creating better lives for them universally. Since the potential lifestyle of most aborted children could be less than desireable, escalation of access to abortion would boost the overall potential lifestyle of all children (Gruber). If abortion remains legal, more couples would be more likely to give birth during the prime childbearing age to give their children a better life. Contrary to common belief, abortion is not predominantly used by careless, uneducated, low-class citizens using abortion as a contraceptive. Most abortions performed are because the mother feels she could not take care of the child, and pregnancy would interfere with her education (Fernandez). Therefore, if more women have abortions to wait for a better childbearing time period, more children will be born into more educated households that could better benefit the child in the long run. In addition to abortion benefiting the mother, abortion can also benefit the unborn fetus as well. Many fetuses have a deformity that could be life
