In my opinion I feel that this would not be a good idea due to the field I work in. I am a receptionist at a early childhood center and the kids that go there vary in age. First of all, If there were to be a bring your dog to work day than it might not be a good idea. In the seccond response the text states "not everyone likes dogs or is comfortable around them. Like many americans, I am allergic to dogs" I totally agree with this. We would have to send out forms to the parents asking whether the child is allergic to dogs or if they're scared of them. If some of the kids were scared of dogs that would be a big violation right there. Parents would be calling in and asking all these questions about the pets and most likely complaining. In my
Employees bringing their pet dog to work is a very controversial topic. An abundance of people support this idea, because they feel they would be more productive, happier, more relaxed, and less stressed. However, many people feel like bringing dogs into the workplaces only causes problem such as, allergies, behavioral episodes, and any fearful mindsets the employees may have. I feel like dogs, while they bring many great qualities to anywhere they go, should not be allowed into a work area unless need-be.
Fears and phobias are reversed by using operant conditioning techniques such as desensitisation, combined with positive re-assosiation in order to help turn a negative association into a positive one (positive rewards). Whilst helping a dog overcome a fear of something using desensitisation or immersion therapy, a dog will always choose avoidance, but if the dog is allowed the option to choose avoidance, the fear will never be overcome. So the only way a dog will overcome it's fear of bicycles would be to face it and work towards a more positive assosiation. Positive rewards are useful in this instance. A strong smelling food treat would be ideal, so that the dog is more keen on the reward it receives.

Bringing dogs to work is not a good idea. To allow employees to bring their dogs to work will be a distraction for them and may lead to a desatisfaction job or result. Having pets at work will be a distraction for employees and mostly for who are allergic or afraid to pets because they will be looking around to ensure that they are safe. Another possibility example to not bring pets to work is that it may lead to a disatisfaction job in order, pets owners will take most of their time to take care of their pets instead of doing correct their jobs. This delay can easily affect the job as well the result of a project.

Your pet dog is a unique companion that requires your love and attention. When your dog is suffering from any ailment or condition, you're also suffering. Sometimes, it's difficult to find out what causes such ailments, and many vets claim that it has something to do with food allergies. Around 10% of dog allergies are due to food.
To begin, it is going to bring a lot of problems into our work environment. Like some other coworkers; I agree that it will cause an unsafe work place. It also would bring distractions and potentially lead to lose of some good coworkers that I have here. I understand that studies show that dogs can relieve stress, but so can other animals. Also, this could bring an issue with other pet owners who would feel left out because their animals aren't allowed in the work place as well.
Deciding whether or not I should agree with dogs being allowed in our work place was very tricky for me. I appreciate your desire to make sure every employee feels comfortable and stress-free at work. Also, I adore dogs and would love to able to have my furry-friend alongside me all day long. However, after looking at the pro's and con's, I'd have to say I do not agree with this idea.
A dog owner in Pennsylvania got a surprise when she took her pet to the vet with stomach woes. Surgery was required to relieve the dog of an unusual range of stomach contents that included eight pairs of underwear. As the parent of a fur baby, it can sometimes be hard to decide whether a delicate tum is a short-lived affair, or warrants a trip down to the vet quick smart. Here are five signs that may help you better understand why your dog is unwell, so that you can make a more informed decision before getting into the car.
I think that dogs should not be aloud at the workplace for a few reasons. One its very unsanitary, not all dogs are properly trained and could go to the bathroom at any point they feel like it. Also dogs are for the most part aggresive and territorial, granted some aren't like this but a lot of dogs are. So if you have a lot of dogs in an office area there could be a lot of barking and growling which would cause distraction throughout the work day. Another reason I think this isn't a good idea is because workers who do bring pets in will have to always be paying attention to their animal, as well as their tasks at work and productivity will more than likely go down. Lastly I think that it's a bad idea to bring on thiss policy because there
Feeding your dog the right food has always been a challenge for any dog owner. Dogs are just like people, since they have specific preferences with tastes and reactions to certain foods. One of the primary concerns when feeding your dog is dog food allergies and what can cause them.
Passage one states the many benefits that bringing dogs to work can have, however this assumes that all employees are comfortable around dogs. This passage doesn't factor in the side of employees who are not comfortable being around dogs, or may be allergic to them. Although studies have proven that having dogs present reduces stress and increases job satisfaction, this may only be the case for some. A majority of Americans report to be allergic to dogs to some extent, from just a minor sniffle to an actual allergic reaction. This can cause issues in the work place and can overall decrease productivity and job satisfaction, along with introducing health risks in the work place, making it unsafe.
Starting a "Bring Your Dog to Work" progam at the workplace is too risky and problematic of an idea. Reasons being it would be too much of an distraction for the owner and fellow co-workers, having pets around is unsanitary, and finally there's a chance for injury and damage to property.
I would have to side with the employees that are against having dogs in the workplace. I beleive that dogs can pose a serious threat to people who are unfamiliar or afraid of dogs alongside those people who are allergic to them as well. although research shows that dogs can cause well-being and a feel of less stress and anxiety among those who favor them, dog's in my opinion can spread bacteria and lead to unsanitary conditions. I consider people that are not dog people deserve to be in a environment that is comfortable to them. I agree that employers should take into consideration the liabilities for the damages to the workplace and potential lawsuits that could be a result of allowing dogs in the workplace. I see that the companys intent
