I think that dogs should not be aloud at the workplace for a few reasons. One its very unsanitary, not all dogs are properly trained and could go to the bathroom at any point they feel like it. Also dogs are for the most part aggresive and territorial, granted some aren't like this but a lot of dogs are. So if you have a lot of dogs in an office area there could be a lot of barking and growling which would cause distraction throughout the work day. Another reason I think this isn't a good idea is because workers who do bring pets in will have to always be paying attention to their animal, as well as their tasks at work and productivity will more than likely go down. Lastly I think that it's a bad idea to bring on thiss policy because there
Employees bringing their pet dog to work is a very controversial topic. An abundance of people support this idea, because they feel they would be more productive, happier, more relaxed, and less stressed. However, many people feel like bringing dogs into the workplaces only causes problem such as, allergies, behavioral episodes, and any fearful mindsets the employees may have. I feel like dogs, while they bring many great qualities to anywhere they go, should not be allowed into a work area unless need-be.
I'm very surprised on this idea about bringing pets to work. Office is a place where we are supposed to be focus on work we are allow to accomplish so bringing pets in my opinion is one kind of distractions.
Bringing dogs to work is not a good idea. To allow employees to bring their dogs to work will be a distraction for them and may lead to a desatisfaction job or result. Having pets at work will be a distraction for employees and mostly for who are allergic or afraid to pets because they will be looking around to ensure that they are safe. Another possibility example to not bring pets to work is that it may lead to a disatisfaction job in order, pets owners will take most of their time to take care of their pets instead of doing correct their jobs. This delay can easily affect the job as well the result of a project.
Should other aniamls be aloud to be servies animals or just dogs i think jurt dogs so no.
Next, you need to think about your co-workers and your enviroment. in the work place the dog may become a distraction and lead to less working and more play. in the, "in support of bringing dogs to work" paragraph he states. researchers have found that when pet owners interact with their dogs, they experience a sense of well-being and feel less stress and anxiety."
The first being that people are not comftorable around dogs or are even allergic to them. I think you could put all the dogs in a sort of daycare like room where the dogs are in their own space and play with eachother and make other dog friends. Also that would solve the problem for dogs distracting the owners. Because the dogs would be in another room the owners wouldnt be able to play with their dog the entire time on work. They would only be able to be around them during break.
Should dogs be aloud to be brought to work? For me the answer is no and there are a few reasons why. For one a lot of people are allergic to dogs and that can cause a lot of prolems with some people. Another reason is dogs would destract people from their work. the last ting is dogs are unpredictable on what they are going to do.
In certain work places i do belive dogs can be a positive energy and a relaxing company to have around the work place. In my own experiance at school some of the teachers bring theyre dogs to work, the dogs are very quiet and nice which helps me feel relaxed and able to reduce stress in the classroom. Another reason i am in support of the bring your dog to work program is beacause, in the article it states that theyre are studies showing that bringing your dog to work can increase the work productivity and workers have a sense of relaxation also more people experience a sense of well
With that being said, dogs can be a big hazard. There are a number of possibilities on how a dog could cause our workplace to be harmful. If not well trained they could have the potential to bite, jump all over people, lay where it could cause someone to trip or even act wild here being a different environment. This could lower our employees safety rates and cause us potential lawsuits. A lawsuit could also cause two coworkers to not get along leading to stress between them and those around them.
Deciding whether or not I should agree with dogs being allowed in our work place was very tricky for me. I appreciate your desire to make sure every employee feels comfortable and stress-free at work. Also, I adore dogs and would love to able to have my furry-friend alongside me all day long. However, after looking at the pro's and con's, I'd have to say I do not agree with this idea.
No! Dogs Should Not Work Dogs are meant to be pets. They live short lives compared to humans. They should be allowed to enjoy all of their days. Dogs are meant to be companions, not workers. Service dogs are put under too much stress. Their jobs are not fun. Some service dogs are servants. They do things like opening dresser drawers and pulling their owners' wheelchairs. Servant dogs, such as guide dogs for people who are blind, are not put in danger. But police dogs are not as lucky. They face life-and-death situations. While people can choose to put their lives on the line, dogs don't have that choice. In 2001, a police dog was shot and killed by police officers. The dog had caught a person the police were chasing. The police officers didn't
In conclusion, I disagree that your dog should be allowed at your work. There are alot more disadvantages than there are advantages in having your dog in the work environment. I love my dogs, but I don't love them enough for them to jepordize my
First reason why Im against of bringing dogs to work is because It may cause distraction for the employees. Dogs are always active, which is mean a lot of energy. They want to play most of the time, and go everywhere. For example, walking between leggs, jumbing infront of people and laying down on disks is unconfortable for some people. Not only that, "some dogs bark at the slightest noise, and other chew, whine, nip, and jump on people." Its not good for the company to have situation like that.
First, having family that have been bitten by dogs and hearing there experience and trauma they received during the ordeal; puts me on a bias position. Eventhough, I personally have not gone through any threatning situation with a dog. I'am aware of how dogs can easily be irritated by many means, such as; rapid physical movements, loud noises, unfimiliar people and countless more. Bringing a dog to work, might seem like a good idea to some; and I do try to understand dog lovers' standing on this issue, and the benefits of bringing there dogs to work. But the risk outweight the benefits.
Dogs in the workplace, is it a good addition that will help moral, or is it a bad distraction? I personally think that bringing a dog to work could help the moral and anxiety of the everyday work place, and make workers therefore even more happy and productive I'll explain my reasoning.
