To my understanding, Advanced Placement English regards as an challenging class where students learn more about both the reading and the writing skills. By this mean, I personally want to improve my ability on communicating through writing and I would like to challenge myself with a hard course.
Although I am an international student, speaking English as a second language, I believe myself own the basic (confident of my) writing quality to a certain level. Desiring to attend the higher level English class, I want to give myself more information in a steady speed. Unavoidably, there will be numerous times of writing experiences in class, but I will give my best shot to fulfill the work given.
Another reason of why I want to enroll in this class is the fact that I can earn college credits through taking the AP exam afterwards. Knowing more about the universities, I am aware of the expanses of the courses and supplies in college. I want to reduce more school fees if I could once I get in the university. Since I decided to come abroad from my hometown to study, I do not want to increase more pressure to my parents. During the time period of learning advanced English, I assure myself with a great improvement of skillfully use of English.

Moreover, I consider homework assignments and activities in this course to be helpful. They have enhanced my writing skills, as I know how to write a story, a scenario, and how to support my argument. Frankly speaking, English writing must be my weakest point. However, due to our professor, all instructions were given in a precise manner and I could understand all tasks.
English 102 is a college level of reading and writing course based on the theme monster. When I started the class, I thought monsters as scary creature in the books and movies. As I progressed in English 102, I found out monsters is more than what I though t is. Monsters can represent the fear of people and society, a problem in a society, something that is keep coming back and coming back(Such as financial crisis), natural hazard and danger. It also can serve as a warning; so, people avoid the same mistakes.
There are many reasons why I believe I am an excellent candidate for English 9 Honors. Some of these ways include, I have enjoyed reading and writing from a young age. I am a hard worker and never give up until I get the job done. I am very eager to learn, create and put forth my best work.
The National English Honor Society would let me interact with a diverse group of students. Joining the Society would give me a chance to take trips to colleges and other places to learn new things. If accepted to the Society I would dedicate my time to it and not be distracted by anything that will take away from my education. Writing has always inspired me which is a big part of English it is a good way to express yourself it is the way I express myself. Joining the English Honor Society would all around help me stay in track with my education.
In the words of Samuel Adams, “It does not take a majority to prevail but rather a tireless, irate minority, keen to set brush fires in the people’s minds.” I do agree to the statement that it takes a minority to make the people realize what changes must be brought but I do not confirm to the views that it does not take a majority to prevail. According to me most process to start changes are started by a small group of people but if the group does not enjoy the support of the majority, the revolution is doomed for failure. A freshman college level English Composition course aims to improve students' abilities with writing, critical thinking, mechanics and usage, punctuation, grammar, and vocabulary. By studying English 101 at Luzerne County Community College, I will work diligently to improve in all of these aspects. My main focus is to develop skills specifically to create clear and concise thesis statements, strong and persuasive essays with cajolement, and to develop different perspectives on narratives and other essays. These writing skills may also improve my critical thinking and reading skills.
I recently completed an anatomy class, and the professor posed a question to us. He said something along the lines of, "The controller of the entire body, its functions, its thoughts, its nerves, of everything, is the brain. How can we be sure all of that is true? That's simply what the brain is telling us is true." So what does it really mean to be human? Is there a correct answer, or are there wrong answers? Is everything that you personally believe correct because there is no definite answer to this perplexing question?
Coming into junior year and taking an AP English class, I am extremely nervous. Outside of English, I am taking two other AP classes, so I am worried about the work load that I will be responsible for throughout the year. I have heard from my older sister that AP English is a fun, great class. Throughout my eleven years of school, I have always been one to challenge myself and I fell that by taking AP English I will be challenging myself once again. I am looking forward to a good year this year.
Upon entering English 111 on-line class, I had not taken an English class on-line before. In the past I have taken several other basic classes. English has always been a struggle for me, mainly writing and grammar. Neither, writing or grammar has come natural to me. The biggest challenge for me is putting my thoughts into words.
I realise the reason that I don't enjoy English as much as other subjects is because it makes me think critically in a way I am not used to. In many other subjects in order to succeed you memorize, follow a set of rules, then repeat. In language arts I have to worry about my grammar, sentence structure, flow, style, and my viewpoint in order to write a well written paragraph. Every step makes me take a look back and think there's a better way for this or that to be said. However, this is the reason why I want to be in English 30-1. English classes are very important if you want to pursuit your academic goal, and there are a lot of things that I learned about academic writing in this semester. At first, I thought that it was going to be easy as long as I kept doing my brief assignments on time and showing up in classes. However, I was wrong, English is hard, especially if you are an international student because the methods of writing an essay are different. Though, I decided to take English 1301 because I wanted to be able to write something that would make it easier for a reader to understand, and of course to make me get good grades in other classes assignments. “Just follow the rubric and you will do very well during your high school English experience each,” teacher stated. Teachers handed out a rubric at the beginning of each assignment, which detail every single thing that needed to be included in your paper.
