Rage Within What a wonderful book! Rage Within is a fiction book by Jeyn Roberts. This book seems to be a great choice for high schoolers. The book isn’t too difficult, but also isn’t too easy and predictable that it’s boring, so again this makes a great choice for high schoolers. It’s also in the perspective of teens which makes it even better for teens , but the book is great for young adults too considering it’s a young adult book. Aries, Clementine, Mason and Michael have survived an earthquake that wiped out most of the world’s population, and most of the remaining survivors have turned into zombie-like murderers called “Baggers.” Aries is the leader of the this small group of teens including others, she is having a tough time, because she feels like every decision she makes will mess up everything. Clementine is …show more content…
The book takes a lot of perspectives mainly among Aries, Clementine, Michael and mason. This is really good compared to other books. The multiple perspective makes it feel like a movie and mixes it up. Also, it has an abundance of suspenseful cliff-hangers that make you crave to read more and lead you on. The characters also aren’t afraid all the time and cower how most teens would. They seem to know how to live in the moment, and have good times and joke even when there is danger. That shows us they are fearless kids just about. This book is great for people who enjoy gore, suspense and a little romance. If you love to see good character cooperation and the characters in a lot of life or death situations where you really don’t know if they’ll make it or not this is the book for you. This books also shows that even the underdogs can still make a difference, and that gives us hope in life when there seems to be nothing left. Again if you love gore, suspense and a little bit of romance this is the perfect book for you, you won’t be
In my opinion I thought that this book was a very good book. In this chapter I will describe the setting, theme, plot and conflict etc. This book had a few different settings like
7) I can imagine myself re-reading this book again in 10 years because this book is amazing and it is perfect for teenagers and young adult readers. This book is griping and beautifully written. When reading this book you get thrown into the apocalyptic setting. I would recommend this book to my friends because I loved it and all the other books in the series. It’s just great.
I would recommend this book because of the suspense and the detail in the book. The moral of this book is never let anyone hold you back, no matter how much you love or care for them. Another theme throughout the story was sometimes you’re forced to fight for what you love and what you want, but it’s always worth fighting for. Nicholas Sparks wrote this book to entertain by showing love, losing someone, and getting a new start. In conclusion, this book is a great read for anyone who loves suspense and love
This book is not recommended to people that don’t like romance, this book has a bite of romance. There is a series of these books, this book is the second book of the series and there are more books in the series. I recommend you read the first book first because the books in the series countinue from book to book. This book is write really well that it feels like it's happening in front of you. I bet you that if you start reading it you won’t want to stop reading it. You might think that the book looks boring from the front cover, i thought that too, but a lot of people recommended the book to me and read the book. Now I am reading the whole series because that's how good it is.This book in my opinion is a really interesting book that I would want to read over and over a again. I would rate this book a 5 star because it's a really interesting book that I really didn't want to put
This novel was set during the post war period, this was a time when independence and rebelling against parents and law was more important than doing the right thing, during these times of independence, and teenagers needed friendship more than anything else.
Overall I would recommend reading this book because it is the first book that introduces the characters and story plot in the six book series. I will read the next six books in the series because I really enjoy the storyline. I hope the action will pick up in the next books and I am excited to learn more about characters throughout the series. I think the book will be easy to relate to teenagers around the age of the main characters who are facing danger at every turn, but still are
I gave this book four stars because it is a very good book and I want to read the rest of the six books in the series but it does not have a lot of action. I like this book because the characters are around my age, seventeen to nineteen. I can relate to the characters a lot and it is very nice to see that, besides protecting vampires and being vampires, they have a lot of the same problems in their life as any other high school student. I cannot wait to see where the other six books take me.
Like with To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, I also annihilate this book. It is fast paced and very easy to get into the flow of the plot. Though at times, I find myself frustrated, but obviously I got over that nasty feeling.
In conclusion, this book is extremely well written, and you are sure to connect with at least one character. We feel for the characters, and there is excellent foreshadowing. The moments of action are portrayed amazingly.
I completely recommend this book to anyone. This book is about learning how hard it is to find people we can trust, like when Ruby said “But I was sure of something, too: It’s a lot easier to be lost than found. It’s the reason were always searching - so many locks, not enough keys.” This shows that it’s hard to show people yourself because you are just opening up to be hurt. This novel also addresses that life isn't always easy. Like when Nate takes Ruby to her old house and she is thinking about how she was living without running water and heat for 3 months “ Everything was stiff and smelly, and the more I took down the more I could see of the kitchen… the buckets I’d used to collect water from the bathroom.” We don’t always realize what
The one word that comes to mind when I think of this book is complex. Many stories have predictable characters and plot, and there's a fine line between good and evil. This story is different for a change, and I fell in love.
That being said, this is an amazing book and it is a good read for people like modern survival tales with romance, humor, and
I didn't really like this book overall because I didn't like how the author described/explained what was going on. The word choice wasn't my favorite either because
The book was told in such an informal way that you felt like you can be friends with these characters. The things they said actually made me laugh out loud for several minutes. I have never read a book that has done that. I think a reason for that is because it is relatable and told in such an improper tone. This novel may come across as controversial due to the dark humor. However, this book is meant for young adults and these young adults tend to be intrigued with challenging topics of conversation. This book discussed love, depression, friendship and self revelation. No matter who you are or where you come from, we have all have experienced some of the things these characters have in this story. They even talk about the acceptance of homosexuality. While it may be a serious topic, it is told in a light manner while acknowledging that it is an issue that exists. This novel was a great mixture of real life issues and comedy. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone my age. Most of the topics discussed are things several young adults are going through. However, it may not be for everyone due to the dark humor and the use of
If you are into romance, with a little adventure novel, then I would recommend this novel. This novel has a good plot structure, and it showed the narrator point of view clearly. One of the things I liked about this novel is the tone that the author used. In this novel, there were two types of tone that were used and those were an optimistic tone and a deep feelings tone.
