Chemistry is the study of matter − its composition and properties. Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. All of the organisms that we study in biology are made up of matter. Matter is composed of tiny particles called atoms.
Explanation of Solution
Protons are positively charged and found in the nucleus of all atoms. It is represented as “p”. Whereas electrons are negatively charge and found in the outer shells inside an atom and orbit the positively charged nucleus in well-defined orbits. It is represented as “e”.
